The 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution.
I live in a part of Boston where Paul Revere's house is just a minute's walk from my home.
I am surrounded by and am reminded daily of our country's history and the men and women who said NO! to tyranny, and wonder if Americans still have the courage to oppose men who would be kings.
Paul Revere’s Ride
By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
LISTEN, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.
He said to his friend, “If the British march
By land or sea from the town to-night,
Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch
Of the North Church tower as a signal light, —
One, if by land, and two, if by sea;
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm,
For the country folk to be up and to arm.”
Concord Hymn
Sung at the Completion of the Battle Monument, July 4, 1837

Our founders and the brave souls who stood against TYRANNY and for freedom and liberty must be wondering how a malignant narcissist and criminal Felon could hoodwink the nation founded buy their bravery and dedication to a worthy and righteous cause.
The criminal "president", his loyal syncophants, and his cultists have no respect for, or allegiance to, the document that founded this exceptional nation.
Their blind self serving bigotry and racism,combined with their open disrespect for the rule of law is designed to destroy our democracy, institute authoritarianism, and return to othering all those who do not think exactly like them. By government force and without due process of law.
MAGA is cancer started by a very sick narcissist and it has infected 35 to 40 percent of the now very divided nation. Likely divided beyond repair.
Thank you NOT Felon President. You do not represent Americans that continue to think wisely for themselves.
We had to memorize that Longfellow poem in 5th grade at Academia la Castellana. I've never forgotten the date, but the rest...
Happy Anniversary!
