Trump says he will ask DOJ to investigate Democrats, business leaders with ties to Epstein
Classic "wag the dog" by an obviously frightened little man who has been exposed as a friend of child sexual predators/pedophiles and who gave preferential treatment to them.
Has anyone thought to ask Epstein's bestie, Trump, why Ghislaine Maxwell is getting preferential treatment in a "club fed" facility, when this has never happened in the case of any other person who sex trafficked children and engaged in sexual acts with those children?

A statement has been released by the families of Epstein and Maxwell’s survivors slamming the president’s treatment of the situation.

Ghislaine Maxwell is a sexual predator who physically assaulted minor children on multiple occasions, and she should never be shown any leniency. Yet, without any notification to the Maxwell victims, the government has moved Maxwell to a minimum security luxury prison in Texas.
This is the justice system failing victims right before our eyes.
The American public should be enraged by the preferential treatment being given to a pedophile and a criminally charged child sex offender.
The Trump administration should not credit a word Maxwell says, as the government itself sought charges against Maxwell for being a serial liar. This move smacks of a cover up. The victims deserve better.

Politico is reporting today that the Trump Admin is making all SNAP recipients who have had their benefits delayed since the shutdown to reapply for those benefits BEFORE they are paid.
Note, they are not saying they will send the needed benefits and THEN require recipients to reapply, giving them time to get all the needed documents together and fill out paperwork while still feeding the families and kids.
They are saying even if you are eligible, we are making to reprove it to us before getting what you need.
Is there fraud? Sure. Should we root it out? Sure. But why not get everyone aid now and during the first month, make them requalify? And then let that aid continue until the government, always slow in the best of times, gets to their applications?
Why not? Because President Trump and his Admin staff are horrible, merciless people.
