BREAKING:  Right now, today, this is happening in Minneapolis:

There are multiple reports and videos today, Monday, January 12, 2026, of ICE agents engaging in aggressive enforcement actions in Minneapolis, including going door-to-door and using force to enter residences.

ICE agents are generally not allowed by law to enter private homes without a judicial warrant signed by a judge or without your consent, as administrative warrants (signed by ICE) do not authorize home entry; agents must present a valid judicial warrant for private areas like homes, or face exigent circumstances (emergencies), consent, or specific exceptions (like public areas of businesses/churches), but they cannot use ruses to trick you into opening the door.

Federal agents in Minneapolis, as part of a large-scale immigration enforcement operation, have been captured on video ramming and forcing entry into homes without judicial warrants.

Key Details Forced Entry: Federal agents used a battering ram to break down at least one door on Sunday, January 11, and video of similar incidents has emerged.

Warrant Type: The documents federal agents used to make arrests were immigration warrants, signed by an immigration officer, which do not legally authorize forced entry into a private residence without the occupant's permission.

Possumlady:

"I talked to one of my sisters living in a Minneapolis suburb last night. Her voice was cracking saying how absolutely horrible it is right now in the Twin Cities. They are literally going door to door, sometimes knocking, sometimes breaking down the doors. She told me of newscasters telling people how to behave if they break down and enter your home. So many businesses have closed. One city councilmember told of going to his favorite independent coffee place to find no one there with the doors wide open. It was obvious that ICE had been there and taken away all the workers. He called police to at least close up and secure the cafe. There was video shown of ICE tackling a teenage boy in a Target. He was screaming he was a U.S. citizen and had papers in his pocket. That didn't matter, they just cuffed him and hauled him away (need to make those quotas, dontcha know). He was screaming for someone to call his mom. They then release these shaken, frightened U.S. citizens, no charges against them, with no way to get back home or call for help."

And this:

Hey -FJ!  This 17-year-old American citizen didn't poke the bear. Trump's goons kidnapped him off an American street and terrorized him.

To add to the information about the 17 yo kidnapped by ICE at the Target, 8 miles down the road they tossed him out of the van onto the pavement in front a Walmart. There were several protestors around who gathered around him. I saw the video on my IG feed.

Several folks asked the kid if he was OK. He was sobbing and bleeding and in a terrified cracked voice said No, not ok.

He's a kid. And they tortured him for the crime of what? They never said. He's a citizen. And they made him bleed.

I just... fascism is here and still there are those who make excuses or do their best to both sides the issues but one side wanted to provide housing, healthcare, affordable food, and jobs while the other is currently violating everyone's First and Fourth (among others) Amendment rights.

That kid broke my heart. Minnesota Nice got him where he needed to be afterwards. Hope they got him a lawyer too.

Fascism has come to America. We're witnessing it in real time. What will America do about it? What!!!

Even if you are in favor of forced removal of people, as many MAGA people, why would you not favor a compassionate and professional removal? As opposed to the type of stuff the admin is doing that us causing all the uproar?

Is it because the audience of ONE feels a need to see this stuff so he, and his backers, feel tough?

So childish...

Obama and Biden both deported many more ppl compassionately. Why can't Trump?

The psycho cops of ICE taking on Minnesota Nice. One bunch is descended from Vikings, the scourge of Europe, the other from pre-WWII Europe. We live in interesting times.

Again...

"One Homeland. One People. One Heritage."

What should we expect. Even if someone did not these words were associated with Nazis, once they were alerted to this fact, why would they still use them?

I dare say most of us have relatives who fought in WWII, the "war to end all wars" against the Nazis. Yet many see no issues with stuff like this, or current US citizens being asked to show their papers. Or apparently, when the US Government is, once again, alerted to the fact a suspected illegal immigrant has his or her passport in their pocket, would refuse to even look at it, and instead would violently arrest the person

There can only be two reasons to be alright with this behavior...

1. You can say it's not me.
2.The detained person does not look like you, so you don't care.

When even someone as far right as Z has a problem with these things, you know the people doing it and supporting it are extreme.

Let's stop and consider a couple of things regarding the tragic death of Renee Good.

1. The Trump Administration has announced no investigation, nor are there any reports of an actual forensic investigation into the shooting. There is no effort to get the facts, no effort to find the proof needed to absolve the ICE agent of fault, charges or culpability. None.

2. There is however, an effort to investigate Good, and find any potentially unsavory connections she may have had in her life.

Let's be clear here. Even if Ms Good was a member of the Communist Party, based on what we have seen of her protest, no one in the public, or any officer, was in imminent danger, so the case for a deadly response is weak, at best.

But this is what we have come to expect from an admin led by a man who claims he is the President of Venezuela.

I read this morning that several DoJ attorneys have resigned in protest because the DoJ will not investigate the killing of Renee Good.

We don't need anymore evidence for where this country is headed because it is already there.

When we see American citizens being beaten and executed on our streets, when we see the dehumanizing treatment of people who are here LEGALLY and not, when we hear and read NAZI slogans being promoted by the administration, when we read that the DoJ is breaking its own laws by not releasing the Epstein files, when we hear the POTUS justify execution of American citizens because they "disrespected" ICE thugs who had no legal right to make a traffic stop -- when you look at all of this you CANNOT look away and say it isn't fascism, because it IS.

I am disgusted with and ashamed of my fellow Americans who ignore all of this evidence because they refuse to look at what is in front of their noses.

The looming horror of it all is that this will only get worse.
