The oligarch/capitalist connection. The capitalist class using politics and government to enrich itself.

And we continue to bow to the capitalist class. Go figure.

He's literally suing himself over something he himself, as leader of the Executive Branch, did.

Where are the aggrieved parties in his original lawsuit? That's what a judge asked the Trump Admin to explain on a Friday afternoon earlier this month. Except rather that do so, before the deadline, the Trump Admin settled with itself.

But hey, nothing to see here. Here's what a few right wingers wrote...

"What tightens my jaw is that no one at the IRS will be held accountable for their abusive behavior." Apparently the fact ppl are in jail, unless Trump has pardoned them, is not "being held accountable." Maybe his jaw is so tight it's affecting his brain.

Another wrote...

"What is needed is the people in the IRS and the government that allowed the info to be taken and used illegally to be arrested and put in prison." Again, the responsible people are already in jail!

[You two, those above] "are so right". Except they are not and neither is she. How can she not know this? Is the Google broken on her computer?

But here's the kicker... one of the bloggers said of the settlement...

"robbing AMericans isn’t the solution..."

In this, we all agree. Robbing Americans is not the solution for a crime Trump's own executive branch, with people he appointed, made.

Shaw, the chattering uninformed classes seem to think only Trump had his taxes released in this breach. In fact, many people including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Michael Bloomberg, and Citadel CEO Ken Griffin had their taxes released too.

It was not Trump who was targeted, it was rich ppl. By a disgusted IRS tax worker

But... and this is huge, let's think about this for a minute. Those illegal releases showed something incredible about our POTUS Trump. In 2016 as he was running for president and 2017, his first year in office, he paid a total of $750.00 each year.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say everyone here paid more, and in some cases way more in taxes each of those years. And so did everyone over at the site where I found the above uninformed quotes.

Why is everyone focused on the crime of the leak and not the crime of a guy making millions and flying around America on a private jet only paying $750 bucks in taxes?

Tell us Skud. You're a big flat tax guy, a "everyone must, including poor people, pay their fair share" kind of guy. In 2016 and 2017, did Trump pay his fair share? Because if he did, I'm due a refund.
