IMPORTANT CORRECTION!

Several conservative bloggers have been repeating this misinformation (which they probably read on other rightwing blogs and news sites):

"We do know from every media source that three representatives from the White House will attend Brown's funeral tomorrow. I think that at least one of those representatives went to school with Michael Brown's mother back in high school.

In contrast, there was not a single representative from the Obama administration at the recent burial of Major General Greene at Arlington National Cemetery."

The above claim is TOTALLY WRONG. This is what happens in the right wing blog sphere. They read a false claim and it spreads like wildfire.

The fact is that President Obama's cabinet officer, Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel attended Major General Greene's funeral.

Will the right wing blogs and news sites retract their abominable lie?

Of course not.

"Right-wing media outlets criticized the Obama administration over news that three administration officials planned to attend shooting victim Michael Brown's funeral, citing the myth that the White House failed to send representation to the funeral of Maj. Gen. Harold Greene, who was killed in Afghanistan -- In reality, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel attended the two star general's service."

Probably enhanced for effect. As well as a partisan misrepresentation of the Governor.

I like the photo of Jan Brewer - reminds me of a relief map of the Sonoran Desert.

I really think the governor of Arizona is a demented grandstander. That's a great photo of that evil bitch.

I wonder if Jack would be so accepting of sexist insults against left-wing women. He think they are OK to use against conservatives.

Aside from Jack making Brewer into a figure deserving of sympathy, finger pointing confrontations with a President just aren't proper.

The Secret Service should have had her on the ground SEARCHING FOR THAT FINGER SHE'S WAGGING. The audacity. She deserves no respect as a democ. or repub. woman running that "southern dog whistle" of "white plantation mistress being threatened by one of her "field hands." Lived too long not to know bulls---- when I smell it.

Oooooh, that pic gives me the willies, but then, so does the person. Brewer is a drunken tool, a woman of no class, and a witch (spelled with a B) from hell.

What has been all over the internet and cable news stations is the video of Brewer just after her meeting with the president at the White House [the one she wrote about in her book] where she states that the meeting was cordial, more than once.

In her book, she changed her story and characterized the president as be condescending toward her. How could she say her meeting with President Obama was "cordial" if she had been condescended to in that meeting?

How?

Because in her book, she lied about the meeting to score points against this president and make herself look like a victim to her base.

Apparently, Mr. Obama mentioned this in the tarmack encounter, and she was exposed as the liar that she is. Her only defense was to wag her finger in the president's face.

She comes off looking like an ill-mannered, boor.

She felt "threatened?"

How in the hell is she "threatened" with hundreds of police and secret service people around her?

We know what that word was meant to imply to her fellow Tea Bagging bigots.

The president, as usual, comes off as the consumate gentleman.

She's a disgrace.

How in the hell is she "threatened" by someone who turns and walks away from her?

No picture, no cartoon, nothing the president could say or do could harm Brewer's reputation more than her cutting off of funds for a group of Arizona's most needy and desperate, seriously ill people, along with her comments after doing that. What Brewer did and said were positively damning, at least to thinking, decent people.

Yikes! I wish there was some type of warning preceding the head shot of Gov. Brewer!

As for her finger pointing at President Obama, she was out of line. What she did was unprecedented and I believe, calculated to sell books and strengthen support among the GOP base. Hopefully, her disrespectful move and dishonesty will bite her in the ass in the long run.
