Funny Stuff from 2013, Part III: Texas, Kenyans, and Fainting Goats
Missing their traditional grub, two Kenyan guys visit a Texas farm to buy a goat. But these goats aren't like the goats back home! --From National Geographic
So did NatGeo set this up as "an outsider's look at America"? I mean, taking them to the fainting goat farm was obviously a setup, but they at least come across as very intelligent, just confused by these weird Americans....
Infidel753, warm goat cheese salad is a winner for me.
okjimm, you are prescient! Wait and see.
BBIdaho, thanks for introducing me to that biology term:
"Evolution is a process whereby populations are altered over time and may split into separate branches, hybridize together, or terminate by extinction. The evolutionary branching process may be depicted as a phylogenetic tree, and the place of each of the various organisms on the tree is based on a hypothesis about the sequence in which evolutionary branching events occurred."
The fainting goats are a good example.
Nameless Cynic, I'm guessing this was a set up, but the ensuing result was very funny.

I'm with the Kenyans on this one. Stiffening up and keeling over at the slightest provocation can't be healthy.
I suppose it's too much to hope for that they decided to give the salads a chance?
ok... waiting for part 4...
Avoiding huge goats that sing 'Oh,Canada'
....hey, might be worth a post....just saying.
Interesting example of peculiar phylogenetics proving it's Darwinian value: Kenyans won't eat a fainting goat. Love it.
