Neo-Fascist, Donald Trump, Calls for Total Ban on Muslims Entering the U.S., Including U.S. Citizens Returning From Abroad

Donald J. Trump, Neo-Fascist

Trump Calls For Total Ban On Muslims Entering The U.S.

I've made a decision to call him what he is, a Neo-Fascist and a danger to everything America stands for.

Neo-Fascist Trump calls for banning ALL Muslims entering the country, even Americans who have traveled abroad and are returning to their homeland, even Muslim-Americans serving in our armed forces -- Muslims who put their lives on the line to protect us.

This Neo-Nazi Response To Donald Trump's Anti-Muslim Plan Says It All

"Heil Donald Trump - THE ULTIMATE SAVIOR."

That's what Andrew Anglin, publisher of the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer, had to say in response to Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump's call for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

"Finally: someone speaks sense," Anglin wrote, pasting Trump's new proposal under the headline

"Glorious Leader Calls For Complete Ban on All Moslems."

"Make America White Again!" his post concludes.

Anglin is not new to the white supremacy scene. In 2012, he launched a website called Total Fascism, where he also wrote about racist concepts, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center's Hatewatch blog. Earlier this year,

The Daily Stormer endorsed Trump for president.

A number of other white supremacist groups have also thrown their support behind the billionaire reality TV star's candidacy.

On Monday, Trump released a proposal on his website calling for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. and including American Muslim citizens who have traveled abroad and wish to return home to America.

The idea was quickly condemned by Democratic presidential candidates and others. The proposal, via Trump's website:

Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing "25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad" and 51% of those polled, "agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah." Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won't convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.

Mr. Trump stated, "Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again." - Donald J. Trump
I'm not surprised to hear Trump demagoguing this fascistic proposal to the cheers and enthusiastic approval of his audience in South Carolina.

For months I've read on the usual far right blogs terms like "vermin" when referring to all Muslims and calls for deporting all Muslims, even Americans who are Muslims. So Trump's admirers, those who have been promoting this fascism, will eagerly endorse Trump in his latest insult to America and her Constitution.

Fear does awful things to people. It's obvious in this instance that it has made Trump and his supporters lose their collective sanity.

Donald Trump is a neo-fascist.  He's not going to make America great again; he's on a mission to make America into Germany, 1930, again.

Here's what a real American and a real leader has to say about Muslims:

"It is our responsibility to reject religious tests on who we admit into this country. It's our responsibility to reject proposals that Muslim Americans should somehow be treated differently. Because when we travel down that road, we lose. That kind of divisiveness, that betrayal of our values plays into the hands of groups like ISIL. Muslim Americans are our friends and our neighbors, our co-workers, our sports heroes -- and, yes, they are our men and women in uniform who are willing to die in defense of our country. We have to remember that."  --President Barack Hussein Obama

And here's why Governor Charlie Baker, a sane Republican, is so popular in liberal Massachusetts. Unlike other Republicans, he's not afraid to speak out against Trump's fascism.

When I learned about Trump's comments, I desperately wanted to believe that he was just pandering to Neanderthal voters. However, it's best to take xenophobes at their word. Trump's comments are too dangerous to shrug off.

Ahab, yes. That's why from now on I will refer to him as a neo-fascist. That's what he and anyone supporting him is.

Also, this comment I left at The Swash Zone:

"A vote for the Trumphalump would be a twofer -- a fascist and his centerfold.

He's not going to be the nominee or the president. But like a abscess full of puss, his campaign has brought the ugliest of the ugly to a head and soon it will be lanced."

Quoting Bernie Sanders: "I want to say a few things about Donald Trump and specifically about his comments tonight that we should ban all Muslims from coming to the United States, even American Muslims returning home from overseas.
It's fun for the political media to treat Donald Trump like he's the lead character in a soap opera or the star player on a baseball team. But the truth is his language is dangerous, especially as it empowers his supporters to act out against Muslims, Latinos, and African-Americans.

The repetition of hateful words is indoctrination. It's reprehensible."

And more reprehensible are the idiots supporting this dangerous demagogue.

Glad to hear you've got a sane Republican as governor, Shaw. Mitt was sane at one time it's been reported. That was back before the prion disease (thanks Charles Pierce) took effect.

Trump understands the whole world. It's not delusions of grandeur. He's not playing on fears either.

I understand the whole world.

Since I mentioned Charles Pierce, should link to him.

Shaw, I hear all the time people wondering who the hell could support a crackpot like Trump. Well we know who they are. The're the fringe right wingers who wouldn't know a fascist dictator if he pissed down their throats then handed them a napkin. These people populate the far right nutsphere and they actually, truly, enthusiastically support this dangerous man. Here's an example of their thinking, and know that there are legions of these people out there just salivating to turn this country over to a fascist pig like Trump:

"Trump is running a brilliant campaign. He says something that is a little outrageous but has roots in what the American people would like to hear.He gets tons of press when he makes the statement. He then clarifies what he said and gets tons of more press explaining it.Meanwhile more people come to his rallies and his poll numbers go up.The Democrats and his Republican opponents are made to look weak by disagreeing with a suggestion that would make the US more secure even if it could never happen. He is playing political correctness against the Liberals and they don’t even know it What religion is more diametrically opposed to American constitutional rights than Islam?"

Islam will not destroy America, but ignorant bigots who believe Trump is "brilliant" will. We will be destroyed from withing so long as morons keep voting for people like Trump.

I notice that Ted Cruz has moved ahead of Sturmbannführer Trump in the Iowa polls.

I wonder if Trump hands off to Cruz before or after New Hampshire.
One thing is certain, the Republican field will continue to be an absolute disgrace with him or without.

Simply a national disgrace.

Call Me Hank, when you've lost Darth Vader, I think it's time to fold your tent and go home.

Trump will not be the next president.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Anon @9:47 and 9:50, right now there is no room in the TGOP for sane Republicans. We here in Massachusetts voted for a rare sane Republican, and he's very popular across party lines. See what can happen when a sane Republican runs in a blue state?

Shaw Kenawe said...

Kevin, we here in Massachusetts appreciate what Mitt did for health care reform, and he did it working with Sen. Ted Kennedy! Actually congratulated Sen. Kennedy for his help in making Romneycare pass in Massachusetts. Yes, Mitt was a sane Republican. Then he ran for the presidency and had to suck up to the loonies. He lost.

As for Trump, does he really understand the world? Because it appears with each of his insane proposals he only understands his Storm Front supporters and the people who populate Bobby Jindal's STupid Party.

Shaw Kenawe said...

ARoTPB,

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Better you than me.

So the nutbag who wrote that praise for Trump? Did he do it with his crayons? How will that unfortunate idiot deal with seeing Trump go down in certain defeat? We'll have to keep a suicide watch on the poor thing.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Ducky, it's pretty obvious that Cruz knows Trump will fade and that he has to "keep his powder dry," so that Trumps supporters will migrate to him. So between the fascists that love Trump and the Dominionists who adore Cruz, he'll have the entire TGOP base wrapped up. Except maybe for Carson's squirrely followers. I wonder where they'll go? Egypt? Looking for a nice pyramid to store their grain?

Jerry Critter said...

The unfortunate thing is not that Trump says such things. It is that so many people agree with him. People have asked how could such a person like Hitler come to power. The answer? Just look at the people supporting Trump. That's how.

This is just another example of the fact that the biggest danger to the United States comes from within, not from the outide. We have the ability to defeat ourselves. No one else does, certainly not ISIS...without a lot of help from American citizens.

Hey Anonymous at 9:47 a.m.

I guess Jennifer Horn can just tell those two New Hampshire goofballs to grab a big, fat sledge hammer and go pound some sand. If they want to go real crazy, they can try to break a few rocks.

Why does the media give so much attention to the loudest, most offensive personalities?

Without this constant media admiration, Trump would never have been shit. That goes for SNL and any other pussy late night show host that invited Trump on just to garner ratings.

Comes out in the wash. Goes down the sewer.

You can tell a lot about people by their fans.

But Trump's not leading he's following. Following a trail of political devolution to its logical conclusion. The Republican party has been a herd of cattle running to an anti-intellectual corral for a long time. Now they just have a huffing and puffing pile of bullshit that's running that way just that little bit faster.

ANon@12:14 AM

Let's see, to which political party did the people belong who passed around racist emails and photos of the POTUS and FLOTUS? Remember the photo shopped images of Mr. and Mrs. Obama and their daughters as apes? Remember the photo shopped images of watermelons on the lawn of the White House? Remember the effigies of Obama hanging with a noose around his neck? Those were all brought to us courtesy of rabid right wing conservative racists.

Now the rabid right wing conservatives have a candidate for the White House going around the country selling his idea of registering ALL Muslims, maybe even making them carry IDs, and his newest fascistic idea is banning Muslims from entering the country -- a religious test that is forbidden by our Constitution.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it IS a duck. In this case a racist, fascistic DUCK named DONALD.

Smarter trolls, please.

His followers obviously know nothing about history or they would be horrified to understand the monster they're supporting. We must never forget that their own people call the present TGOP "The Stupid Party." That label explains the tragedy of today's Republican Party.

$$$$$$

Controversy sells. And featuring idiots running for POTUS, making outrageous comments sells even more.

The Trumper is a media mogul's dream.

Magpie: "But Trump's not leading he's following. Following a trail of political devolution to its logical conclusion."

This is true. I've been reading the sort of anti-Muslim, anti-Latino, racist, sexist claptrap that neo-fascist Trump promotes on far right blogs for years. Trump is only following what the trogs on those blogs have been writing for years. The Trumper can't even keep straight in his rants what he's for and what he's against.

Fearful people and people with limited education fall for authoritarian figures who promise to make them "great again" while proposing ideas that will destroy the foundation of the country they hope to lead.

Dave, I inadvertently scrubbed your comment. I've had a inordinate number of "Anonymous" trolls over the past two days defending neo-fascist Trump's outrageous remarks. I guess I was too hasty in using the delete button.

I did read you comment about how the right wingers saying no one respects us abroad because of Mr. Obama (which is not true). But I did read that people in England and Israel want to BAN neo-fascist Trump from entering their countries. And the wingers are silent about that because neo-fascist Trump is one of their tribe, so being hated abroad for them is a GOOD thing.

Did you notice how quickly one of the trolls arrived here (on the above post and comments) to tell me the banner I have up was a bit too harsh? Harsh? Haven't they been listening to how "harsh" neo-fascist Trump has been on our American values and laws?

Actually, the right wing trolls are what scares us, not the bloviating baboon, Trump. That so many people agree with his lawless suggestions means there are that many Americans willing to subvert our Constitution in order to keep out those Muslims (or "vermin" as they so fascistically refer to them).

Dave Miller said...

20% Shaw... While that number may not get him the GOP nomination, it does show 2 things...

1. There are a lot of angry, upset and in a lot of cases xenophobic out there...

2. The USA still has significant work to do in understanding how words and rhetoric impacts how people feel towards and work with people who are different.

Jerry Critter said...

The neo-fascist Trump supporters are not interested in "how words and rhetoric impacts how people feel towards and work with people who are different". That's a big part of the problem.

Shaw Kenawe said...

JC, I've read some of the blogs that support Trump. They're barely coherent, and don't seem to know how to write in their own language. It's no wonder Trump is exciting to them. He's the ultimate b.s.er and they mistake bombast for policy. Every country has its population of people who think with their emotions and not their intellect. Those are Trump's supporters.

Emotions without intellect or empathy. It is very self-centered and combative, and leads to conflict rather than resolution.
