If Jesus Said What The T-GOP Candidates Said

OT: Rubio said that Obama visiting a mosque was divisive? Where does the Stupid Party get these people? The wingnuts have been stirring up hatred non stop against the Moslems for years, and Obama visits a mosque to show the Moslems that they're just as American as the wingnuts who want to see them thrown out of their own country --like Trump said. So the kneejerk reaction from the wingnuts is to call Obama divisive and theyre angry that he went to a mosque? Theyre the ones who are being divisive, writing about the Moslems as devils and hoping Trump who wants to spy on mosques and not let them into the country will be the next president and do their dirty work.

"It's just a few IQ points ... it's not the end of the world," said a state official to a mother in Flint, Michigan, whose child had tested for high levels of lead (Raw Story). Just a few IQ points and a few kids!

What is the difference between broccoli and snot, you ask? Hint: Kids don’t eat broccoli. A tissue can wipe away rivulets under a child’s nose, but how do we remove the soundbites, the spin, and the snots of depraved indifference from our public life?

Expose the hypocrites and demagogues!

Surfer Dude,

Here's Pm Carpenter's take on Rubio's stupid statement calling President Obama "divisive."
What is more "divisive" than a groveling, pandering pol criticizing a man seeking to find common ground among religions? Rubio is a contemptuous snake.

Marco Rubio's puzzling paranoia

"Moments ago I listened to President Obama's National Prayer Breakfast address, in which he praised interfaith understanding and implored even greater interfaith acceptance.

He delivered his thoughts as a Christian who sees no fundamental divisions among the world's major religions; his Christianity, as he framed it, is essentially the human faith of Judaism, as it is of Islam.

Diverse religious faiths should not divide us as a nation, he said, for there are no real, underlying divisions among these assorted faiths. In short, the president's was a graceful yet booming call for national unity.

Obama delivered much the same call yesterday at the Islamic Society of Baltimore, saying "We have to reject a politics that seeks to manipulate prejudice or bias, and targets people because of religion." Again, the president was seeking a color-blind, faith-blind national unity, which he has consistently sought since taking highest office.

Which is what makes HuffPost's reporting so deliciously nonplussed when it comes to (I can scarcely believe I must type this) GOP "establishment" candidate Marco Rubio, who yesterday, as HuffPost puts it, "somehow found a way to criticize President Barack Obama's speech … denouncing anti-Muslim bigotry" (emphasis mine). Said the always cheerful, optimistic, nation-uniting Marco: "I'm tired of being divided against each other for political reasons like this president's done. Always pitting people against each other. Always!"

It really does cause me to wonder. Has this groveling, hyperpartisan idiot ever listened to himself? And if he has, how in God's name (either God's, Yahweh's or Allah's) does he live with the venomous voice that bellows such toxic divisiveness?"

(O)CT(O)PUS, more and more information is coming out because of the FOIA, and the new information shows that Gov. Snyder chose poisoning children and adults in order to save a few thousand dollars. Think of what the T-GOP would do on a national level if they controlled all three branches of government.

The Surfer Dude: "Rubio said that Obama visiting a mosque was divisive?"

I don’t see how speaking at a mosque to American Muslims is any more divisive than speaking at a church to Christian Americans, but I doubt that any member of the MSM will demand that he explain.

Hank, Mr. Obama speaking at a Mosque to Americans of the Muslim faith is not any more divisive than if had spoken at a Christian church to Americans. There is nothing wrong with it unless you're running for president nomination of the T-GOP and you make an asinine statement to signal to your base that you agree with them that Muslims are "The Other," and any attempt to have them seen as real Americans is an attempt to place all non-Muslims in mortal danger.

They truly believe that every Muslim wants to kill them or convert them to Islam. Anyone believing otherwise is seen as divisive or anti-American. Go read their toxic blogs where they repeat this lie day after day after day.

I give up. Vilifying an entire party for the actions if few differs not Shaw from vilifying all Muslims for the actions of the radicals.

Disagree if you like. It really does NOT matter.
