You can be sure shaw that if the unemployment rate was still at 9% like it was after GWB's disastrous administration the TeaPublicans would be screaming bloody hell and calling Obama every foul name in the book (well they do that now anyway). But now that unemployment rate is lowest in 8 years you don't hear a peep out of the whiners and bitchers on the right. They blame Obama for everything and give him credit for nothing.

Well done, President Obama! Well done. The TeaPublicans can blow.

Ray, I put this up to tick them off. They HATE anything anyone posts that's positive about President Obama or his wife. I've already received a troll comment saying he had nothing to do with the unemployment rate.

I admire their dedication to my blog, since the post was up for only minutes when one of them came here to bitch. They never miss one of my posts. LOL!

I've always questioned how much influence a sitting president really has over the market and unemployment. It seems to me much is determined by the unseen powers that manipulate and control the market to achieve their interests. Like the international oligarchs and plutocrats.

Just saying.

What is clear, at lest for me is that the Obama administration has been effective at keeping the oligarchs and plutocrats that control the market and have impact on the employment picture quite content. And we're told Obama is a commie pinko community organizer!

RN, I understand what you wrote. But you know that if the unemployment were still high, or gas prices were sky-high, the whiners would be howling that it's all Obama's fault. Presidents don't have a lot of power over markets and employment, it's true, but they get blamed all the same if they're not doing well.

When ones ONLY purpose is to find fault, whether real or imagined, it will be found.

We are on the same page.

I never figured out *why* Democratic presidents have better economic growth than Republican presidents. After all, the president doesn't do taxing and spending.

Now the President seems to be doing Congress' job in declaring wars, and that's important.

How is the administration more important than Congress with the economy?

So Shaw you prefer to continue the false presentation that a president has control over private employment even though that's not true. Interesting.

Anon @1:07

What part of this comment I published above don't you understand?

"Presidents don't have a lot of power over markets and employment, it's true, but they get blamed all the same if they're not doing well."

Trolling again?
