Trump Too Afraid to Disavow Domestic Terrorist Group (KKK) Support

UPDATE BELOW

The Klandidate

The "Vulgar Talking Yam" is afraid to denounce the KKK's  David Duke (calls Trump "by far the best candidate") and other white supremacists' support, because he doesn't know who David Duke is and maybe there are some nice people in those groups, and he knows nothing!

I hope the Democratic nominee plays this coward's feckless answer over and over and over again to show his lack of character and his withering cowardice in not being able to refuse the support and admiration of a domestic terrorist organization.

Donald Trump: ‘It would be very unfair’ to disavow KKK and David Duke until I ‘do research on them’

My 12-year old grandson knows who David Duke is and what the KKK stands for. He wouldn't need to do "research" to find out. But then, my grandson is not a cowardly weasel who is unable to look at evil, call it what it is, and reject it.

But the morally rotten, Vulgar Talking Yam would not reject the domestic terrorist group, the KKK:

Donald Trump Declines Three Chances To Disavow David Duke

Trump distanced himself from Duke in 2000, but wouldn't do so Sunday.

From BuzzFeed:

David Duke Urges His Supporters To Volunteer And Vote For Trump

David Duke, a white nationalist and former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard, is urging the listeners of his radio program to volunteer and vote for Donald Trump.

“Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage,” Duke said on the David Duke Radio Program Wednesday, referring to Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

“I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump, in fact I haven’t formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”

"...a candidate cannot be held accountable for everything said and believed by his or her supporters. But once it’s clear that the candidate has both the attention and affection of the ugliest, most vile creatures in our political swamp, what he chooses to do about that is a leadership test not only for the candidate but also for the party of which he is becoming the standard-bearer. Now that the KKK and the white nationalists feel that the Republican Party has finally given them a candidate they can believe in, who will disabuse them of that notion? And how?"  --Rachel Maddow

UPDATE:

"Those of us in public life can only resent the use of our names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse.

The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood." --Ronald Reagan

Donald Trump:  Too much of a political opportunist and a coward to reject the support of the Ku Klux Klan.

He's a disgrace to the Republican Party and to America.

We'll see if it has any effect tomorrow. Too little, too late, I fear.
At this point it probably activates his base.

KKK? David Duke? Never heard of 'em. I thought he had the world' greatest memory.

And while he's obviously not guilty of the sins of the father, what's up with Daddy Fred getting arrested at a Klan rally?

Yes, I know. The response is always what about Robert Byrd.

"Appearing on CNN Sunday morning, Trump was asked by host Jake Tapper if he would disavow the support of former Klan leader David Duke and other white supremacists groups.

Trump stated that it would be “unfair” to judge the groups without doing more “research” on them.

“Well, I have to look at the group,” Trump replied. “I mean, I don’t know what group you’re talking about. You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I’d have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them, and certainly I would disavow if I thought that there was something wrong.”

“The Ku Klux Klan,” Tapper prompted him.

“You may have some groups in there that are totally fine, and it would be very unfair,” Trump added. “So, give me a list of groups and I’ll let you know.”

After sharing the clip Monday morning, a stunned Joe Scarborough and a dismayed Mika Brzezinski appeared almost speechless.

“That’s disqualifying right there,” Scarborough said. “It’s breathtaking. That is disqualifying right there. To say you don’t know about the Ku Klux Klan? You don’t know about David Duke? And the most stunning thing is … this isn’t buying him a single vote. Is he really so stupid that he think southerners aren’t offended by the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke?”

I don't think Donald Drumpf is stupid, but he is a con-artist extraordinaire, and his supporters are dupes.

Donald Drumpf has to do research on the KKK because some groups in there may be "totally fine", but he labeled all Mexicans as rapists and criminals?

So now Rubio is talking about the size of Trump's dick:

“Trump has small hands…you know what they say about men with small hands.”

Graham's right, the GOP should be in an insane asylum! It's now a "who has a bigger dick" Party!

I watched Sunday as Donald brushed off questions about the Klan and like many, was disgusted. What research does he need to do?

But I was more upset by the "journalists" questioning him. Here was a man on the precipice of receiving the GOP nomination to be the president of the USA and the questioning was what you'd expect to hear in a locker room brawl.

I heard not one question of substance regarding what he would do if he was elected and how he might accomplish his goals.

No one asked him how he'd balance the budget, no one asked him how he would deport 11 million people. No one asked him how he would get the Mexican government to pay for a wall. No one asked him about his priorities in his first 100 days.

I expected more from Chris Wallace, given who his dad was.

All I can do is pine for the long form interviews of substance Tim Russert and Roger Mudd used to do with candidates.

"Tell me Mr Kennedy, why do you want to be president?" When Ted had no answer for Mudd, his candidacy was effectively over.

No shouting, yelling or histrionics. Just calm questions and answers to the substantive issues of the day.

Like I said somewhere else. This will likely only help The Donald with his reichwing supporters, whipping them up into an even more irrational furor.

I really never thought I would live to see the day of such extreme nationalism in America. Thanks GOP and Trump for making it a living political reality and a potential American nightmare. JACKASSES.

FYI Shaw,

"Only 15 percent of Clinton supporters say they wouldn't support Sanders, and the same percentage of Sanders supporters say they wouldn't support Clinton.

Yet a staggering 48 percent of Republicans say they would "probably" or "definitely not support" Trump.

What's more, and rather simply, there are more Democrats in the U.S. electorate than there are Republicans.

And the Electoral College map is already blue."

Trump making excuses for not coming out unequivocally and rejecting the KKK and Duke:

“I’m sitting in a house in Florida with a very bad earpiece that they gave me, and you could hardly hear what he was saying. But what I heard was various groups, and I don’t mind disavowing anybody, and I disavowed David Duke and I disavowed him the day before at a major news conference, which is surprising because he was at the major news conference, CNN was at the major news conference, and they heard me very easily disavow David Duke. Now, I go, and I sit down again, I have a lousy earpiece that is provided by them, and frankly, he talked about groups. He also talked about groups. And I have no problem with disavowing groups, but I’d at least like to know who they are. It would be very unfair to disavow a group, Matt, if the group shouldn’t be disavowed. I have to know who the groups are. But I disavowed David Duke.”

What a disgusting piece of weasel sh*t.

If you were living in the woods for the last year and surfaced you wouldn't believe what you are seeing.

You have a president who touts his economic record of no wage growth and 38% of people have dropped out looking for a job.

We have a republican candidate who takes all the oxygen out of a room and is not liked by 50% of republican voters or the RNC. He has done everything possible to lose support but it keeps growing.

You have a socialist running as a candidate on the democratic ticket. He is doing so well that the DNC is mad because he is upsetting their anointed nominee.

You have a former SS who can't answer what accomplishments she had as SS and her whole platform is I am a women. 60% of all voters think she is a liar and she can't get out of her own way.

Then we have a candidate who is qualified and makes sense and is ignored.

You just can't make this stuff up and you have to laugh about what is happening.

As Yakov Smirnoff said What a Country

skud, when was the last time the KKK was robocalling to promote the Republican party front runner?

Shaw Kenawe said...

Ducky, I think you meant "when was the last time the KKK was robocalling to promote the DEMOCRATIC Party front runner. The white supremacists and KKKers did that for Drumpf.

Anyway, skud would answer you with this: BENGHAZI! BENGHAZI! BENGHAZI!

You're correct, shaw, my bad.

This has become so freaking bizarre it's hard to keep things straight.

Then we have Rubio making pee-pee jokes.

What would you give to be a fly on the wall at the RNC brokered convention planning meetings?

Our only hope is that Trump (if elected) will tone it down like he said he would. And really, with the way our current “leader” has done internationally, a little ire might be just what is needed.

Dear "One Tookus Over the Line,"

If your boy Trump wins the presidency, you will need something stronger than marijuana to ease your pain. Also, it is extremely tiring to hear about people describing Obama as feckless, weak etc. And if you really do prefer pissy, angry tyrants, why don't you consider moving to Russia or North Korea? You can have a Trump, father figure as your boss until the day you die.

When you learn to write in English, you can come back and try to argue for the neo-fascist you so heartily support. Meanwhile, we suggest you read a book on English grammar.

“David Duke is a notorious anti-Semite and racist and his name is synonymous with bigotry,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, ADL’s CEO. “Duke is a perennial candidate for elected office and perhaps America’s best known racist and anti-Semite. He is a former Imperial Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. His message is racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-American to its very core, and he’s clearly exploiting Mr. Trump’s candidacy to get publicity for himself and his hateful ideas.”

No doubt the racists, white supremacists, and anti-Semites at the Smut Hut are squealing with happiness because David Duke wants to be Trump's BFF. Trump should make Duke his VP running mate -- a dream team the Smut Hutters would die for.

Trump/Duke 2016! "Let's Make America Hate Again!"

You will probably need to add after todays election results... And the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Sadly...

Dave, Trump is going to have a blow-out today and will go on to win the nomination, unless the T-GOP does something to stop him. He's the GOP's problem that has become a nightmare for all America and her allies. The sane among us do not believe we should destroy ourselves just because certain politicians and people in power have betrayed us. Paul Ryan said this today:

"This party does not pray on people's prejudices," he continued. "We appeal to their highest ideals." He went on to say anyone seeking public office should reject bigotry and prejudice.

Really?

I would love to have asked him to explain the TGOP's opposition to equal protection under the law for gay Americans and how the pols in his party worked AGAINST the repeal of DADT and then opposed equality in marriage. How people in his party -- not just the average voter, but political leaders -- passed around racist photoshopped images of the First Family? How TGOPers demonized this president, calling into question his loyalty to America, his religion, and telling whoever would listen that Mr. Obama was destroying the country.

They are responsible for Trump and his goons-- not the Democrats, not President Obama, -- they and their nurturing a hatred for everything that is not like them produced Trump.

They will now inherit the wind.

Shaw Kenawe said...

R.P.L., Trump made another lame excuse to cover for his simpy response to Jake Tapper's question about David Duke and the KKK.

On national television, his non-disavowal of racist goons? — speaking as the presidential frontrunner of a goonishly racist party? This is news? -

Shaw... and this from the esteemed Senator from South Dakota...

"Even if you're disappointed with the way he's responding to things, even if you're mad at him, you disagree with him, if he did it intentionally -- I don't think he did, I think he just made a mistake -- even if he did, they're still going to do a better job with him there than if you had Hillary or Bernie in his place.'

So... even if there was no issue with the "faulty" earpiece, Trump's statement should not disqualify him from the Presidency...

Toke Head said...

Trump is here because we’ve all learned SO MUCH not to trust Obama.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Titan, we all know that what Drumpf said is b.s. and dog whistles.

Dave, the GOP is a broken and dying party, and what the senator from So.Dak. said is more evidence.

That, and the "Toke Head" comment.

All the TPers hoping to see Hillary in an orange jump suit and handcuffs are eerily silent about this:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump suffered a legal setback on Tuesday when a New York state court allowed a multimillion-dollar fraud claim against Trump University, filed by the state's attorney general, to proceed.

The guy with the orange skin and hair will soon have an orange suit to match? Fraud? Let's see where this fraud claim goes! What a business guy!
