General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
(BTW, when are "they" going to tell Kindly Doc Carson and his adoring supporters that he's not going to be the nominee? He needs to go back to sleep and dream a different dream. Maybe a brain surgeon pyramid hunter?)
"Carson continued Tuesday evening with a somewhat baffling comparison to ancient Rome.
"It's just a matter of time before [people] start demanding answers, and they start demanding solutions because right now we're sort of in the ancient Rome stage where everyone wanted to go to the Coliseum, 'Oh, bring on the lions and tigers, let's see them eat the eagle. This is cool.' While Rome was burning."
"But we have a bunch of fire extinguishers, we are going to put the fire out and put the fire in our bellies," he said. "
Ducky, Kindly Doctor Carson truly lives in an alternate reality. And we should congratulate La Donald and his self-admitted "poorly educated" supporters for his YUUUUUGE win!
Ahab, Trump does fit in nicely in a fantasy world.
RN, some of Trump's most ardent "poorly educated" supporters hang out at a certain porno/anti-Semitic grunge pit where anything approaching intelligence is scorned, and The Stupid is exalted.
Without Ben Carson on the Republican ticket, either as our presidential nominee or even as our vice presidential nominee, the Democrats will win the White House and the America we love will disappear.
Re: The ascendency of Donald Trump: Our cultural standards are falling, and this is one more sign. We’ll be an Idiocracy in a few generations, and I say that as one who has watched the Goopers drag us into the ditch while pretending to be patriotic Americans. Just look at the latest insult to the black man in the WH. No other president in the history of this country has been treated with that level of contempt.
The Goopers live in the gutter, and they're going to nominate something they found there.
Lies, damned lies, and statistics. A lot of people in the media are making a huge deal about the fact that 44% of Latinos voting in the Republican primary voted for Trump. But ask yourself "what percentage of the Latino population would actually vote in the Republican primary?". Likely a small percentage. And of that small percentage, not even half voted for him. There are a lot of people in the corporate media with a vested interest in making Trump seem more popular and palatable than he really is. The truth is that as a percentage of the Latino population, Trumps supporters are few in number. No matter how you try to spin it.
According toLittle Green Footballs, a WND-touted poll by "Clout Research" conducted a poll that found Donald Trump has 40 percent support among Hispanics... But that they arrived at that high percentage by "polling" 10 Black Republicans... and 4 said they were for Trump. Yet WND only mentions the 40 percent support figure without mentioning that it's out of 10 people! Do a Google search and these poll results are ALL OVER the web (with Conservative sites saying this shows how wrong the "liberal media" is about Trump). Laughable.
I never believed that 40% number. Latinos detest Trump. He has the highest negative numbers of anyone who ever ran for president. His negatives are higher than Hillary's!
The Stupids are promoting that fake 40% number. Thanks for clarifying it., Dervish.
Excuse my mistake... in my prior comment I mentioned Trump's support among Hispanics, then explained how Clout Research arrived at a figure of 40 percent support among African Americans (4 out of 10 African Americans said they were for Trump).
The 45 percent support for Trump among Hispanics is the result of Clout polling 14 Hispanics, and 6 saying they were for Trump (as per the Little Green Footballs article I previously linked to).

Regarding the good doctor. He's not dropping out.

The man is a treasure.
I still wonder if there are enough "winner take all" states for La Trump to take the nomination outright.
Still looks like a brokered convention to me.
In any event, the party power brokers must be pooping pickles.
Perhaps the darkest moment of the night was when Trump actually said these words in his victory speech:
“We won with poorly educated! I love the poorly educated!”
Of course he does. They're his biggest fans!
I'm glad you liked the video. It says volumes that he'd be right in his element in the Game of Thrones universe.
Trump in a rare moment of total honesty .

David Schuster says Trump is going to be the nominee - because the Republican establishment hates Cruz more than Trump.
skud, your usual partisan screed trashing President Obama accidentally got deleted. Oops!
My personal theory is that Carson uses his skull for storing grain.

Here's a piece by Kevin Drum suggesting a reason for kindly, Doctor Ben the Blade not dropping out.
But you all knew about the Conservative Grift Machine.
