General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Mooch OUT!!

DONNIE SCREWED THE MOOCH!

The Trump chaotic disaster continues.

Mooch told the world that he LOVED the preznit.

Ten days later the preznit kicked his vulgar ass OUT!

How do you love your preznit now, Tony Mooch?

Buh-bye to the foul mouth 10-dayer.

Amazingly, after only a few days, all three of the Trump advisers in this picture have been fired!

Trump: America's Weak President

Below is a sampling of opinion (from liberals AND conservatives) on how Trump has weakened himself and America with his incompetence, narcissism, tweeting, and lies:

NYT's Dowd: Despite tough talk, Trump is 'really weak'

"The dark pandemonium of the Trump West Wing has become a wormy scene worthy of Hieronymus Bosch. As Trump Fox News cheerleader Katrina Pierson likes to say, 'People have to get comfortable being uncomfortable,'" Dowd wrote. She concludes the piece by saying that while the president has reportedly referred Priebus as "weak," it is the president who is "weak" and "can't get it done."

Trump is weak says Conservative columnist, Peggy Noonan:

Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan says President Trump’s primary problem as a leader is not that he is “inexperienced, crude, an outsider” but that he is “weak and sniveling” and “undermines himself almost daily by ignoring” traditional norms of American masculinity. “He throws himself, sobbing, on the body politic,” Noonan wrote in her column Thursday.

Top ABC analyst Matthew Dowd says Trump is 'a weak person's idea of what a strong person is'

"Donald Trump has a bizarre view of what it means to be a strong person … in this society, especially a strong man," Dowd said. "To me, Donald Trump and his actions are a weak person's idea of what a strong person is — the way you commit violence, how you act toward others, all of this. His idea of a strong person is bullying people. His idea of a strong police officer is mistreating people that they apprehend.

"To me, it's a much broader sense — he has somehow launched himself back in the 13th century of what he views as a strong person."

NYTimes:   Trump’s Really Weak Week

USNews:   A Pitiful, Helpless Giant

Donald Trump's ineffectual attacks on Jeff Sessions are just making the president look weak.

"President Donald Trump is looking awfully weak these days. Just look at Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, who is still attorney general in spite of his boss's recent bizarre public shaming. The kindergarten aphorism about the relative power of sticks, stones and words is proving true of Sessions, but not so much Trump, whose words are indeed inflicting damage – upon himself."

Sunday Morning Week in Review

David Smith gives us a succinct review below of Trump's disastrous week.

Notice I didn't type "...a succinct review of THE MOST disastrous week," because we surely know that Trump will outdo last week's chaotic catastrophies and bring more shame to America.

An "Anonymous" left a comment in my moderation folder that whined "Trump IS NOT A DISASTER!" That poor deluded partisan hack probably believes now that General Kelly is the new Chief of Staff, Trump will become "more presidential." That poor deluded partisan hack is the reason we have what Mark Sumner of the Daily Kos calls a "Proctocracy:   Government by, for, and of assholes."

NOTE: P.E. will no longer censor vulgar words that are found in columns or opinion pieces, since our so-called "POTUS" has appointed the ultimate vulgarian, Scaramucci, and therefore has given his imprimatur for dragging our once great country into the Trumpian sewer.

Here's David Smith of The Guardian:

"In five torrid days, the US president alienated conservatives by savaging his own attorney general; earned a rebuke from the Pentagon over a rushed ban on transgender troops; watched impotently as the Senate dealt a crushing blow to his legislative agenda with the fall of healthcare reform; ousted Priebus; and threw a human grenade – the new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci – into his already dysfunctional White House."

Worst Week So Far...

Donal Trump's weak week.

Saturday Night Music

Radiohead's Creep becomes Don the Con's Tweet:

Trump's Premature Congratulation

Here's a photo of Trump in May prematurely taking a victory lap on Obamacare repeal in the House. Because Trump's a policy dunce and knows nothing about our government and how it works, he apparently didn't realize that the Senate would have a whack at delivering him a death blow on his feeble attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Americans are calling this Trump's "Mission Accomplished" moment, because Trump has shown himself to be a lousy deal maker and astoundingly incompetent in accomplishing his goals.

Photo via HuffPos

Trump in his weakest position yet.

Six months into the job, he has failed to unify his party, at a time when the GOP controls all of government, to pass their No. 1-priority issue. He’s proven to be a terrible dealmaker. He’s demonstrated that his grand promises to his base about repealing President Barack Obama’s signature law were empty, and that he’s more interested in showmanship than substance.

“Together we’re going to deliver real change that once again puts Americans first,” Trump said at an October rally in Florida in 2016. That begins with immediately repealing and replacing the disaster known as Obamacare…You’re going to have such great health care, at a tiny fraction of the cost—and it’s going to be so easy.”

WATCH DONALD TRUMP CHANGE HIS TUNE FROM EASY TO DIFFICULT ON REPEALING OBAMACARE

Repeal of Obamacare FAILS and Trump forgets his dozens of promises to easily repeal and replace.

Now he's blaming other people for HIS FAILURE to deliver on one of his central and most significant promises of his campaign. Another sign of how weak a president he is:

Trump insisted, "We're not going to own it. I'm not going to own it. I can tell you the Republicans are not going to own it. We'll let Obamacare fail and then the Democrats will come to us and say how do we fix it, how do we fix it, or how do we come up with a new plan."

We've got news for Little Miss Trump:  You are the president; you own it!

Ronald Reagan's speech writer, Peggy Noonan:

Trump Is Woody Allen Without the Humor He’s not strong and self-controlled, not cool and tough, not low-key and determined; he’s whiny, weepy and self-pitying. He throws himself, sobbing, on the body politic. He’s a drama queen. It was once said, sarcastically, of George H.W. Bush that he reminded everyone of her first husband.

Trump must remind people of their first wife. Actually his wife, Melania, is tougher than he is with her stoicism and grace, her self-discipline and desire to show the world respect by presenting herself with dignity... It’s all whimpering accusation and finger-pointing: Nobody’s nice to me. Why don’t they appreciate me? His public brutalizing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions isn’t strong, cool and deadly; it’s limp, lame and blubbery. “Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes,” he tweeted this week. Talk about projection.

Question to the Trumpistas out there:

How's that promise to build that wall going?

Are you tired of so much winning yet?

Saturday Funnies

Pissant President Trump said that if he joked about being put on Mt. Rushmore, the media would say that he thinks he should be on Mt. Rushmore.

Well, here's what one cartoonist thinks of Trump's "joke."

FINAL VOTE ON OBAMACARE REPEAL:

51 - NO!

49 - YES

McConnell And Trump Just Got Humiliated As Obamacare Repeal Dies On Senate Floor

Washington (CNN) The Senate has dealt a devastating setback to Republican efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare, defeating a GOP "skinny repeal" bill early Friday morning.

Sens. John McCain, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins joined with Democrats to oppose the measure, a major blow to President Donald Trump and the Republican congressional agenda.

To the Republicans who put country above party:

Well done, and thank you!

Here's The Trump Administration That The Evangelical Right Admires

The Evangelical Religious Right owns and approves this:

Anthony Scaramucci unloaded on Reince Priebus in a profanity-laced tirade with the New Yorker on Thursday.

“Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” the new White House communications director said of the president's chief of staff. “Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.”

Scaramucci has made stopping White House leaks his top priority. “What I want to do is I want to fucking kill all the leakers and I want to get the President’s agenda on track so we can succeed for the American people,” he said.

Scaramucci denied that he craves media attention. “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock.”

[skip]
And he said: "Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.”

And then, impersonating Reince Priebus, he said: "Let me leak the fucking thing and see if I can cock-block these people the way I cock-blocked Scaramucci for six months.”

No wonder Lord Dampnut likes the Mooch, he's as vulgar as the so-called preznit.

Remember folks, this is what the family values party thinks will make America great again. A perfect example of the trash the far right admires, as long as it has an "R" after its name.

I wonder if they'll read this to their children as an example of how Trump is draining the swamp and an example of Republican aspirations.

They own this.

The Military Rebukes Pissant President Trump

Bravo!

And well done!

The military's extraordinary public rebuke of Trump

In a message today to the Pentagon's top brass, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff essentially said that Trump can go soak his head: "I know there are questions about yesterday's announcement on the transgender policy by the President. There will be no modifications to the current policy until the President's direction has been received by the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary has issued implementation guidance.

In the meantime, we will continue to treat all of our personnel with respect …"

Sessions Seeks to Strip the Gay and Lesbian Community of Their Civil Rights

Trump Administration seeks to make America into another LGBTQ intolerant Russia.

Justice Department Argues Landmark Civil Rights Law Doesn’t Protect Gay People

Advocacy groups swiftly condemned the DOJ filing, which landed the day President Donald Trump banned transgender people from military service.

The Department of Justice argued in a legal brief on Wednesday that the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 offers no protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation, a position advocacy groups condemned as “shameful” and “politically driven.”

DOJ lawyers, arguing under Attorney General Jeff Sessions, submitted an amicus brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in which they said the department did not believe the law ― which bans discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin ― applied to lesbian and gay people.

Like most bullies, Donald Trump is really a coward.

Although he spent a dozen seasons on “The Apprentice” playing the boss who loved saying “You’re fired,” he doesn’t have the guts to lower the boom as president. When he did fire former FBI director James Comey, he hid behind the skirts of deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein.

With his beleaguered press secretary Sean Spicer he waited until the poor man resigned after weeks of mean-spirited critiques behind Spicey’s back, of everything from his suits to his speaking style. [...]

Cowards pick on the vulnerable. [...]

Cowards make empty threats. [...]

The president is lucky that unlike the Republicans in Nixon’s day, his party and its congressional members are cowards, too. There is no Howard Baker, asking “What did the president know and when did he know it,” or a Barry Goldwater, who had the courage to tell Nixon that his support in the Congress had crumbed to dust because of his lawlessness

What are you going to do about it, America?

Get out there and march and protest this sickening anti-LGBTQ administration.

This will not stand.

These are the American people, Trump, not small-time contractors you can stiff.

We have rights, and legal precedent.

Pissant President Who Never Served a Day in the Military Kicks Transgender Patriots Out of Military

UPDATE:

Chicago Sun-Times writes—

"Trump leaves transgender troops in limbo: President Donald Trump blindsided his own Defense Department and Congress when he announced via Twitter Wednesday a ban on transgender people serving in the military, a major policy shift so little thought out that Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders could not even say if it impacted soldiers on active duty.

You don’t treat soldiers willing to die for the nation that way. This shabby treatment makes hollow Trump’s effusive praise just a few days ago — at the commissioning ceremony for the USS Gerald R. Ford — that “we are so very blessed with warriors who are willing to serve America in the greatest fighting force in the history — the United States military.”

 Talk about fake.

Banning transgender people from the military now has popped into play, even though Trump pledged to stand by the LGBT community during his presidential campaign. As Trump said in this June 2016 Twitter post, “I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.”

 Talk about fake. "

A Top Colonel Just Responded To Trump’s Transgender Ban By Calling Out His Entire Family

Trump’s draconian move comes on the 69th anniversary, to the day, of President Harry Truman desegregating the United States military. Truman called for “equality of treatment and opportunity,” without regard to race, color, religion, or even national origin, but rather “merit and fitness” being the sole qualifications to defend our freedoms.

Nearly 11,000 transgender Americans currently serve in the Armed Forces. While Trump touts his “patriotism,” he has done nothing but curb the rights of actual patriots. America is grateful for the thousands of transgender servicemen and women defending our freedom while cowards, like those in the Trump family, refuse to do so.

The New Yorker:

The Cruelty and Cynicism of Trump’s Transgender Ban

The President’s tweets are a naked attempt to divert attention from his scandals.
 By David Remnick

Today’s outrage—they seem to come at least once daily—doesn’t merely reflect Trump’s low character.Photograph by Pablo Martinez Monsivais / AP Nearly a half century ago, young Donald Trump—a Wharton graduate, and an avid player of squash, football, and tennis—scored a 1-Y medical deferment. Hundreds of thousands of young men were being deployed to Vietnam. Trump had some bone spurs. He then limped happily into his father’s real-estate business without delay.

On Wednesday morning, the Commander-in-Chief declared by tweet-fiat that, “after consultation with my Generals and military experts,” he had decided to reverse an Obama Administration decision and bar transgender individuals from serving in the military “in any capacity.” Trump tweeted further, “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming . . . victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”

[skip]

Let’s begin with the retrograde cruelty. There are thousands of transgender people already serving among the 1.3 million active-duty members of the military. These are people who have volunteered their service and have potentially put their lives on the line, and yet their President, who managed to come up with a flimsy doctor’s note back in the day, denies them their dignity, their equality. He will not “accept or allow” them in the military. Imagine the scale of this insult.

And never forget this:

Any time Trump makes a promise DO NOT BELIEVE HIM.

Trump is a liar, a cheat, and a fraud.

Think of what he did to the transgender community today and what this fraud told them a year ago.

Never believe anything this malignant narcissist and liar says:

Trump's message to the LGBT community last year...

Ross Douthat, Conservative Columnist: Donald Trump: A Tower of Absolute Folly

Ross Douthat, not my favorite conservative, in the NYTimes today, mincing no words:

"Donald Trump’s campaign against his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, in which he is seemingly attempting to insult and humiliate and tweet-shame Sessions into resignation, is an insanely stupid exercise. It is a multitiered tower of political idiocy, a sublime monument to the moronic, a gaudy, gleaming, Ozymandian folly that leaves many of the president’s prior efforts in its shade...

'[Trump] is nonetheless clearly impaired, gravely deficient somewhere at the intersection of reason and judgment and conscience and self-control. Pointing this out is wearying and repetitive, but still it must be pointed out.

'You can be as loyal as Jeff Sessions and still suffer the consequences of that plain and inescapable truth:

This president should not be the president, and the sooner he is not, the better."

Can I get a million likes for that?

Trump Leads Boy Scouts To Boo Former President Obama

Just returned home from taking my grandson to the theater and read this:

The president’s decision to give such an off-the-deep-end rant in front of preteen boys would be shocking if anybody but Trump was delivering the ramble, and social media was quick to weigh in on the spectacle.
After two years I was still naive enough to think "I can eat dinner because he's not going to go on a barely hinged rant to Boy Scouts"
Donald Trump is now asking the Boy Scouts to remember that "incredible night" when he won the election. Seriously.
Trump now telling kids at the Boy Scouts Jamboree about “fake polls” and “fake news” and his “tremendous crowds”
Trump is currently relitigating the 2016 election -- talking Michigan, Wisconsin -- before a crowd of Boy Scouts
Trump says Obama never spoke at a Boy Scouts jamboree. Obama was an actual Boy Scout (probably around the time Trump was dodging the draft).
Boy Scouts of America are booing the first female nominee for President. How proud.
In and of itself, Trump’s speech on Monday was a national embarrassment, whether it was encouraging the crowd to boo for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, lashing out about polling, bragging about his 2016 election, or going off on incoherent tangents about his rich friends.
What’s sadder, though, is that this is the Trump we all know and have come to expect, even in front of a crowd of young boys – heck, especially in front of a crowd of young boys.

The president may have been speaking in front of thousands of boy scouts, but he was certainly the most childish person in attendance.

******************************

I have never in my life seen any US president behave with such shocking disregard for the dignity of the office he holds. I truly think Trump is seriously mentally impaired. But if that's not the cause of his stomach-turning, disgusting behavior then he's just a pus-filled evil psychopath.

Scouts booing former Boy Scout and former President Obama is classless and disgraceful.
