IN SOTU, TRUMP WARNS INVESTIGATIONS WILL HURT THE ECONOMY

"An incoherent psychotic speech composed of cookies and dog-poop." -- @VanJones68, with the punditry we deserve.

FROM MOTHER JONES:

President Trump references 'partisan investigations' during the , infers they could disrupt the economy. Watch live: https://reut.rs/2D8P0Kh

Aides to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one of the many Democrats in the House chamber on Tuesday to appear taken aback by the line, swiftly responded on social media to signal that the new Democratic House majority would not be deterred from providing oversight:
Sorry, sir. But Article 1 of the Constitution is the legislative branch. And it has the responsibility to exercise oversight of the other branches of government. We would be delinquent in our duties if we failed to provide the necessary oversight.

The line also drew parallels to similar remarks made by President Richard Nixon during his State of the Union in 1974.
"If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation." - Trump's SOTU, 2019

"I believe the time has come to bring that investigation and the other investigations of this matter to an end. One year of Watergate is enough." - Nixon's SOTU, 1974

Echoes of Nixon saying one year of Watergate is enough, as Trump says: "If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation."

Also, Trump was WRONG about the US's "HOTTEST" economy:

CBS poll:
76 Percent of Viewers Approve President Trump’s State of the Union Speech; 72 Percent Approve His Immigration Ideas

That's because more Trumpanzees watched it than Democrats. I didn't bother to watch the POS.

Also, I wonder why the Trumpanzees now believe in polls. Oh I get it. Polls are correct when they favor the Pig in the White House but never when they tell the truth about how much he's hated.

“Partisan investigation”

Donald is correct, more or less, when he says this. They are investigations led by a republican special counsel. They are ongressional investigations lead by a republican Senate and until a month ago lead by a republican House. And, they are investigations of primarily republican individuals and republican owned businesses.

So, yes, they are “partisan investigations”, otherwise known as republican investigations of republicans.

The wingnuts lie just like Individual No. ! lies

Claim:
Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother's womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful, babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world.

FACTS: New York's Reproductive Health Act guarantees a women's right to abortion through 24 weeks of pregnancy. After that an abortion is only allowed if a doctor decides the fetus is not viable, or to "protect the patient's life or health."

They've got nothing to crow about with the despicable Liar in the Oval Office, so they make up stories that stir their feeble minds. There is NO killing full-term healthy babies or any babies, but the Trumpsters are too busy lapping up lies to pay attention to the truth.

And here's the truth. Two full-grown children died while in Trump's custody in detention camps. And thousands of babies and children will never be re-united with their parents because Trump had nothing in place to identify the childrens' parents.

The Goopers are hypocrites for lying about abortion rights and ignoring the deaths of children in Trump's detention camps.

I won’t ever give Trump a pass. He’s undeserving. I will never change my mind. Do you even know his administration admits thousands of migrant children might never see their parents? He does NOT care! Did you know the afternoon before his unifying speech he was trashing democrats at a luncheon, even his favorite hero to hate, the deceased John McCain? He’s subhuman.

Ray, you didn't watch but it was horrible. You have shown what seems to make up the majority of people who have prejudiced beliefs with no basis for fact and don't care what the facts are.
