I'm of the opinion that if the Dems can get McGahn and a few other Trump Admin officials [think Tillerson, John Kelly, Mattis] to testify publicly before moving to impeachment, Trump will not only be impeached, he'll be convicted.
Imagine those guys, raising the right hand and swearing to tell the truth, publicly, backing up what is in the Mueller Report. They will be compelling because they will be telling the truth. Trump will huff and puff, but in the end, he'll lose.
But only if the Dems can get to public hearings. Like the Watergate Commission did.
There are still not enough Republican votes in the Senate for impeachment, but a House impeachment vote and public hearings would put a dent in Trump's poll ratings within the Republican party. Anything to wound Trump before the next election.
