Oranges! Oranges! Oranges!
Seriously, two people very close and dear to me suffered from Alzheimer's dementia. I know what the symptoms look and sound like. IMO, Trump is in the early second stage of dementia, whether it's Alzheimer's or not, no one knows, but we do know his mother suffered from it, and that there is a genetic component to the disease.
President Oranges! was all over the map yesterday, claiming his father was born in Germany -- Fred Trump was born in New York. How could he have gotten that wrong? Trump's granddaddy was born in Germany. CONFUSION! Oranges!
His incorrect claim that Puerto Rico has spent $91 billion the U.S. sent to the island? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. And the so-called POTUS is still not clear on the concept that Puerto Rico IS the U.S.
The two near and dear people very close to me who suffered from dementia were not in charge of the nuclear codes. Trump is. That's what keeps normal people awake nights while his cult thinks it's okay to have someone showing signs of dementia leading the country.
But wait, there's more:
On Tuesday, he was mocking wind power as part of an attack on former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who proposed greater investment in wind turbines to reduce reliance on traditional fossil fuels and bring down carbon emissions.
“Hillary wanted to put up wind. Wind,” he told the crowd. “If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value.” He then introduced his newest argument, telling the audience, “And they say the noise causes cancer,” before mimicking the sound of a turbine as the crowd laughed and applauded.
Source:
There is no evidence that the noise of a wind turbine causes cancer. Anti-wind power groups have incorrectly claimed that the low-frequency noise — known as infrasound — given off by turbines can cause health problems including nausea, sleep loss and anxiety, among many other symptoms, The Atlantic explained. No research has ever shown harm from such low frequencies, and no cancer of any kind has a proven link to high levels of noise.
Chemicals and particulates released in the extraction, storage, transportation and burning of coal and other fossil fuels, in comparison, have been proven to cause higher rates of cancer.

I feel I must comment, particularly as I have experienced both insomnia and anxiety.
Someone who is bothered enough by the low frequency noise (infrsound) enough to cause insomnia could also develop anxiety as a result of sleep deprivation.
I realize this is only my hypothesis but one I think justified by available physical and mental health data.
BTW, there are comfortable ear plugs to wear at nigh to block out nighttime noise. My wife wears them EVERY night without fail. She sleeps comfortably.
Back to our Dotard President. His apparent early stage dementia should be considered a grave threat to our national security.
As I've said on other blogs, I really think he is in early second stage dementia. I witnessed my husband and sister go through this and their behaviors were the same as what I'm seeing in Trump: trouble pronouncing everyday words; no self-censoring, i.e., saying things aloud and to people that they normally would keep to themselves or only say to intimate family members; making obvious wrong statements about family and other situations, i.e., Trump's claim that his father was born in Germany, plus his fantasizing about things that never happened and making claims (windmills cause cancer) that are made-up or too far off the mark to make any sense; and making up stuff that's false.
I deal with tinitus as a result of the sort of chemo I had in 2015. It's very loud at night, but during the day, I'm distracted.
Oranges... what else ca we say?
Something seems to be off with the Pres.
And now Rep Nadler has subpoenaed his tax returns. It's getting real interesting.
BTW... how about the GOP being the party of great health care? Remember his promise of better health care, lower costs and simultaneous enactment of his plan when they repeal the ACA?
Was that a broken promise or a lie?
Dave, From personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that Trump is in the beginning middle stages of dementia. This week it was all on display. My father and mother in law, my husband, and my sister all displayed what I'm seeing in djt. And the people around him act as if there's nothing wrong. We saw with our own eyes and heard with our own ears what confusion and memory loss are in the POTUS. No one who is mentally stable would have acted the way Trump did this week. He's out of what he had as a mind.
Dementia in older people is quite common and if you are 70+ you probably have some form of dementia. Regan exhibited early onset dementia and would forget certain things and just can't quite remember what something is called.
It does appear that djt is exhibiting slight dementia and at 70+ it is not unusual. Another president who was much younger suffered dementia and couldn't remember how many states make up the U.S. so it happens at different stages in our lives.
Rev, why is it so important to see his tax returns. Is it just so the democrats can use it as leverage. Taxes are suppose to be known to the individual and the IRS and not public knowledge.
Well Skud... we the people have a right to know if our Pres is double dealing, is making money off his position or is compromised financially by one of our enemies.
That’s why Congress years ago passed a law, that was signed by a Pres, to codify that power. And it was ultimate part of what helped bring Pres Nixon down.
As to Nixon, that is why every President since then has disclosed their taxes... to, in an abundance of caution, assure the American ppl of his having legally paid his fair share of taxes.
Why would a Pres not want to do so?
Why would Republicans be concerned about him having dementia. Reagan had dementia and they raised him to the level of a saint.
Reagan was NOT even close to the a-hole the Dotard is. Problematic in ways for many yes, but, NOWHERE close to tRump's jackassery.
I want to read about that "Russian collusion" thing.
