General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

The GOP's Preznit Tweeted This:

“Such an easy way to avoid Tariffs? Make or produce your goods and products in the good old USA. It’s very simple!"

"[Ivanka's] goods are avoiding the sweeping tariffs enacted by President Trump in his trade war with China...Trump implemented $34 billion in tariffs on Chinese goods ranging from auto parts to medical devices, according to the Huffington Post. Clothing and shoes, like those imported by Ivanka Trump’s company, were spared.

Did the GOP's preznit exempt his own crappy clothing from the tariff wars too?

Now he's going to subsidize American farmers to make up for the losses he's incurred with his trade wars with China. Soshalism!

I think we should just bend over and take it from China. After all that is what we have done for decades and it has worked so well.
Very difficult to by any clothing product that isn't made off shore. We gave away the electronic and textile manufacturing market decades ago in no small part to mafia run unions. We almost gave away our automobile industry for the same reason but Japan forced the automakers to improve and become competitive with quality. It took many years before one of the big three was sold to a foreign company and that was not because of the unions but by an American president.
We just don't seem to learn to stick up for ourselves.

The Republican Party has shown itself to be a collection of craven hypocrites, so utterly debased from wallowing around in Trump’s filth that they can’t even remember what decency smells like.

But if you’ve been paying attention, Republicans have always been like this. Just ask Merrick Garland. Our system shouldn’t be so weak that the perverse noise makings of Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham can scuttle the very concept of the rule of law.

Trump gets away with it not just because the Republican Party and its white-supremacist base wills it so. Trump gets away with it because the legal system insists on treating him as a “normal” president of the United States, and he's not. Trump is an abberation. And his supporters are deplorable.

GOODNESS has destructed into a kind of ethos where our kids think KINDNESS COMES FIRST…and it cannot..IT SIMPLY CAN’T. We can’t be KIND to illegals, KIND to laziness, KIND to those who won’t school themselves, KIND to criminals…we can’t be.
