"...the Oath Keepers, a right-wing militia group, urged Trump to retract his statement, citing concerns that the tweet could be seen as encouraging the National Guard to “shoot people for stealing.” “This is a disaster,” the group tweeted from their official account.
“President Trump needs to retract that statement ASAP, stating that he misspoke & did not mean to say that National Guard should shoot people for stealing.”
Amid the outcry, Twitter announced early Friday that it had placed a “public interest notice” on Trump’s tweet, noting that the post had violated the platform’s “policies regarding the glorification of violence based on the historical context of the last line, its connection to violence, and the risk it could inspire similar actions today.”
The label appeared less than three hours after Trump’s tweet was posted."

Presidents have a responsibility to unite and encourage, if not all, the great majority of American citizens. They function as our mourners in chief, especially in an era when when other leaders cannot due to Covid-19.
If they are unable to do so, the least they could do is do no harm. Every tweet, word and expression from President Trump is designed to divide, rile up and incite the people of America.

Our struggle is that even his supporters see this behavior in him and recognize how terrible it is yet will not vote against him.
Maybe, Colin Kaepernick had a point of view political and civic leaders should have listened to rather than trashing him?
He respectfully and nonviolently protested the very thing that killed George Floyd. And all he got was a bunch of white people calling hime stupid names and dissing him.

Officer charged with 3'rd degree murder and manslaughter. Possible further charges coming. Investigation continues.
It's a start. 3'rd degree in my opinion is weak. It ought to be 1'st degree. But this is at least a step in the right direction.
