The Stable Genius asserts:

"Without Coronavirus Testing ‘We Would Have Very Few Cases."

And this:

“When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases.”

Today @realDonaldTrump said we wouldn’t have as many cases if we just stopped testing. we’ve been doing medicine all wrong. What else could we eliminate if we just stopped looking for it?

Remember, kids:
You don’t want a baby? Stay away from pregnancy tests

AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "OBAMAGATE!"/1261017121078861826

MITCH MCCONNELL LIED WHEN HE SAID PRESIDENT OBAMA HAD NO PLAN:

“I was wrong. They did leave behind a plan, so I clearly made a mistake in that regard." Moscow Mitch McConnell on the fact he lied about President Obama’s pandemic plan that Trump threw out. Trump and his Republicans belong in prison.

Raise your hand if you agree:

Please excuse my salty language but these assholes (trump, his administration lackeys, and the GOP), appear to be running scared. Very scared. Why, because at this point only trump cultists and longtime dyed in the wool GOP loyalists are guaranteed to vote for Dotard and the likes if Mitch the bitch McConnell. As trump's lies, inept handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, and his totally absurd irrational statements continue the folks who held their noses and voted for Dotard in 2016 will be voting Biden in 2020. IMO, given trump's horrendous failures over 3 1/2 years only fools will be voting for him.

If America hasn't completely lost its collective minds trump should lose in a landslide of epic proportions.

Sure. Then the wonderful stable genius added.."it's just common sense." Ergo, if
we never ran the test, there would have been no pandemic. Brilliant: no electrocardiograms there would be no heart attacks, no blood tests and diabetes
would disappear..no twitter and we would be free of presidential ignorance. The
guy has a penchant for advertising his own inadequacy.

Donald is more interested in limiting the REPORTED NUMBER of known cases than the actual KNOWN NUMBER of actual cases. He would rather under count the number of sick people than prevent people from getting sick. It is about perception, instead of prevention.

And without pregnancy tests, we would have lots fewer babies!

BB... maybe we could cure cancer after all!

The pres has such a way with words. Like "Fake News". In reality, it's not fake news, it's unfavorable or unwelcome news. But who in this admin has time to consider that words have real meanings?

What I've heard is that the plan is to blame China. As per a Franco Aragosta (aka FreeThinke) comment on Lisa's blog, what we're dealing with is the "Wuhan Chink Virus". Proof that Dotard's racist base will go for it. I've also heard that Dotard is going to start disputing the death toll. It's a "deep state hoax" don't you know?

Les Carpenter said...

Of Course.

Derv, Who would you blame if not china which it is proven that is where it started. I doubt he is disputing the death toll because like the origin of the virus the death toll is proven the death toll from corona-19 is not. Corona-19 may be a contributing factor in a lot of the deaths but not necessarily the primary cause just one of the contributing factors. How do we know the causes in the first few weeks because there were no tests to determine primary cause.

..contributing factor in a lot of deaths: like the cause of Mr. Jones death was
loss of blood. A contributing factor may have been the semi truck that ran over him.
Or Mrs. Smith died of apoplexy, a contributing factor was possibly watching a Trump
press conference. Or just the old died of major internal injury, perhaps because he
was in the line of fire at some high school shoot em up. I kid, of course, and Skud
points to death data often seen in pandemics. The Spanish Flu led to many cases of
bacterial pneumonia and even cytokine storm . Hence confusion over reason for death/cause of death.
IMO, further confusion occurs over presentation: some people are asymptomatic, some
get a fever and no more, some are very ill for weeks and some expire on ventilator.
It is a new virus, it came on very fast and we are still learning about it. Like many, I follow the numbers (even plot them, an old lab habit) and I am awaiting the
upcoming battle: will warm weather prove harmful to the virus, slowing it..or will
rushing back into the normal way of life raise the R value and create an even
higher infection rate? ..or perhaps those two factors will balance out..and my
chart will stay at the same rate of climb.

BB-Idaho I'm afraid you won't get anywhere with skud by using logic and facts. He's solidly in the tribe that went berserk when Ebola hit America and killed two people. I remember the Repubs calling for President Obama's resignation over that carnage. Now skud will throw anything at the wall to see if it sticks in order to blame someone, something, anything for this pandemic, anyone other than the man whose incompetence, stupidity, and laziness has made an already terrible tragedy worse.

It is documented by Trump's own people that they warned him months in advance of what was likely to happen, and Trump being Trump did not want to implement what would have saved lives because it would have affected the economy, and that's all he had to run on for his re-election.

Trump chose his chances of being re-elected over saving American lives.

And folks like skud and his friends on the Mother Ship have no problem with that.

Derv, the WYD Trumper folks are not mentally healthy. And the sickest among them show themselves to be proud racists and misogynistic fools.

Ms Shaw, I think BB had a lot of valid points. The first few sentences are rubbish and he admits it. It is like saying he died from Alzheimer's which is not correct, he died from the complications associated with Alzheimer would be correct because no one dies from that affliction. There is so much about this disease we don't know but it is great political fodder at the cost of a lot of lives. When you don't understand something the easiest thing to do is blame others instead of trying to sort out the truth. I do expect you to understand what I am saying because you seem intelligent. I give little hope for RN to understanding anything which is evident in his reply.
