Your weekly reminder that Trump is a blithering idiot:

BREAKING NEWS!

Attorney General William Barr says he does not expect the Justice Dept to launch a criminal investigation of Obama or Biden as a result of Durham probe.

Trump has called “Obamagate” the biggest political crime in American history. He hasn’t commented on Barr’s remarks.

Conservative Max Boot:

“This is the greatest political scam, hoax in the history of our country. ... People should be going to jail for this stuff,” Trump thundered on Thursday, even though a few days earlier he was unable to explain what law President Barack Obama supposedly violated. “You know what the crime is,” he told a Post reporter. “The crime is very obvious to everybody. All you have to do is read the newspapers, except yours.”

Actually no one knows what the crime is, because there isn’t one. As the Bulwark’s Tim Miller explains, Trump’s theory seems to be that a high-level cabal framed him for colluding with Russia but neglected to make the information public before the election when it could have helped Hillary Clinton. When stated so concisely it sounds preposterous — so Trump prefers not to spell it out. Instead he darkly suggests that routine occurrences — such as Obama officials “unmasking” surveillance transcripts that revealed future national security adviser Michael Flynn speaking with the Russian ambassador — are worse than Watergate.

Captain Clorox then claimed that President Obama was "grossly incompetent" while looking at himself in the mirror.

Anyone with a functioning brain stem knows that Trump is insanely jealous of the wildly admired and loved former President Obama. Mr. Obama never mentioned Trump or his administration in his commencement speeches to graduating college and high school students this past weekend, but it certainly hit Trump right in the cajones because the blithering idiot started tweeting like the maniac that he is and called President Obama "grossly incompetent."

That bit of self-projection came as America counts almost 90,000 dead, soaring unemployment numbers, and millions of  jobs lost.

Only Trump's benighted cultists believe the laughable self-projection tweeting from this absurd, weak, and whiney little man.

The rest of America and the world laughs at the bungler who's now responsible for the worst catastrophic disaster to hit America since the Great Depression.

President Obama: “More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing. A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.” True: USA has no national leadership now during an emergency.

Unless something unexpected happens, Trump is going to be president until at least January 20, 2021. In normal times, that would be bad, in a pandemic it's truly catastrophic. No chance of national leadership for 8 months.

America is facing a catastrophic pandemic with a pretend president.

MAGA!

45 hasn’t done a damn thing in 3+ years and President Obama changed the world again in 7+ minutes.

 Who has the real power?

When Obama referenced adults with fancy titles who act like children and do only what feels good, the Trumpkin supporters immediately read it as a dastardly attack on HIM.

Why is that?

Barr is sending a message to the House Democrats. Don’t investigate Pompeo and he won’t investigate Biden or Obama!

I remember an afterward that Charles Dickens wrote to his book, Nicholas Nickleby, regarding the brutal Yorkshire schoolmaster, Wackford Squeers. Although Squeers was a totally fictional character, Dickens said he received numerous letters from real schoolmasters bitterly complaining and threatening to sue him, because they believed Squeers had been based on themselves.
