Here's the b.s. Giuliani and his enablers are trying to sell:

And yet I'm seeing right-wing blogs and even news sites taking this completely seriously, saying things like it's the end of Biden's career and presidential bid. Their desperation seems to have overwhelmed what remains of their capacity for common sense.

I'm not willing to give them the benefit of doubt any longer. Regarding the possesion of common sense.

Their sweat is beginning to be very pervasive. And it stinks out loud.

Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say. More than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter casting doubt on the... New York Post story. [end]

The fact that Rudy Giuliani is involved is reason enough to suspect this is likely BS. Given his involvement with Andriy Derkach.

If it is bad and anything trump it needs to be investigated because it has to be true.

If it is bad and anything biden it has to be false and dismissed. It does not make sense that a laptop would be found in a repair shop thousands of miles away and the owner just happened to DL the emails. It also doesn't make sense that any company would pay someone with no experience a ton of money for doing nothing unless they would get something in return. I agree with RN it stinks out loud but we can anticipate nothing will be investigated.

Skud, what you refuse to acknowledge is that no other reputable newspaper would touch this because of all the holes in it. You just skip over that fact and whine again.

Trump is a liar, cheat, and fraud, and Giuliani is known to work with Russian crooks. And you're whining because people have legitimate questions about this story?

This may help you understand why.

However, I doubt you'll read, since you've made up your mind that Biden gets away with corruption and poor Trump can't get a break. (Where were you during the impeachment trial where overwhelming evidence pointed to Trump's treachery? And the partisan Republicans let Trump off the hook? Asleep? Was that your idea of justice?)

Where were you when the Republican investigation of Hillary and BENNGHAZI! went on for months and cost the American taxpayer millions and THE REPUBLICANS THEMSELVES FOUND NO WRONG DOING?

Where were you when Barr and the DoJ just recently, after investigations about the "unmasking" that Trump called "OBAMAGATE!" and the worst crime ever committed against a president -- when Trump's own lapdog, Barr, and his DoJ FOUND NOTHING!

There appears to be somewhat of a pattern here: No matter how hard Trump and his corrupt minions try to find something, anything, on Mr. Obama, Hillary, and now the Bidens, they come up empty-handed.

You forget Trump is using HIS OWN DoJ to do his corrupt dirty work as any good fascist would, to indict and take revenge on his opponents.

Here's Trump behaving like a g-d fascist:

From The Hill: "President Trump early Tuesday pressured Attorney General William Barr to investigate the son of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and demanded that information be released before Election Day.

“We have got to get the attorney general to act. He’s got to act and he’s got to act fast," Trump said on “Fox & Friends,” citing a New York Post report about Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Trump called on Barr to “appoint somebody” to handle the matter.

"This is major corruption and this has to be known about before the election,” Trump said."
Trump’s remarks represented an extraordinary effort by the president to push a member of his Cabinet to investigate the family of his political opponent, as he explicitly invoked the election as reason to do so. They came after a group of House Republicans asked Barr to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the allegations about Hunter Biden made in the Post last week.

If that doesn't make every true American sick to their stomach, hearing a sitting president demanding the DoJ to do his bidding by investigating a political rival, then I don't know what would disturb you. It's right in front of your face. Look at this for what it is!!

Trump wants this done in less than two weeks? It's like the old joke from Soviet Union when they'd say "Give 'em a fair trial, then shoot them!"

Why aren't you, skud, and your friends on the Mother Ship and the other right wing blogs absolutely enraged at this happening in America? Do you not care? Or is your partisanship so rotted that you refuse to see Trump's behaviors for what they are???

I have looked into the allegations and they do seem preposterous but it is just accepted that it couldn't be true. Joey has a habit of exaggerating the truth on so many occasions but it is Oh Well.
I don't dislike biden but the thought of cruella being chief dog is something I have a hard time with. Trump has been his worst enemy and he will lose due to his behavior so we can have some kind of peace for a bit. Republicans have a tendency to be less violent and more accepting of others views.

The Hill, 5/2017: "Congressional reporters should learn to protect themselves if Republican Greg Gianforte wins Thursday's special election in Montana, a House Democrat joked Thursday.

"I'd recommend reporters enroll in self-defense classes," Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said with a laugh during an interview with The Hill's Molly K. Hooper.

Gianforte was charged with assault on Wednesday after allegedly attacking a reporter from The Guardian. The reporter said Gianforte "body slammed" him and broke his glasses."

On January 28, 2014, NY1-TV political reporter Michael Scotto was interviewing Grimm in a balcony hallway of the U.S. Capitol building about the recently concluded 2014 State of the Union Address. He then tried to question Grimm about a campaign finance investigation. Grimm said he would not discuss the investigation. As Scotto started to mention the investigation again, Grimm walked off. Scotto then turned to the camera and implied that Grimm did not want to face the issue on camera. Grimm then threatened Scotto, saying that he would "break [Scotto] in half," as well as threatening to throw Scotto over the balcony.

On April 28, 2014, Grimm was charged by federal authorities with 20 counts of fraud, federal tax evasion, and perjury.[2] On December 23, 2014, he pleaded guilty to a single count of felony tax fraud, and "acknowledged committing perjury, hiring illegal immigrants, and committing wire fraud"

JACKSON, Miss. – Mississippi House Speaker Philip Gunn on Tuesday said he wants a state representative accused of domestic violence to resign if allegations are true that he punched his wife in the face for not undressing quickly enough when he wanted to have sex.

Gunn in a statement called the alleged actions of Republican state Rep. Doug McLeod “unacceptable.”

McLeod was arrested Saturday at his home in Lucedale

Denton, Texas: Police Department announced Sunday afternoon Jason Lata, 44, was arrested after detectives obtained an arrest warrant for assault causing bodily injury. Lata is currently in the city jail, and his bail was set at $15,000.

A Houston law firm Klitsas & Vercher P.C. will be representing the man who was sucker-punched at the Trump MagaDrag rally in Denton, Texas, lawyer Loren Klitsas announced on Twitter on Sunday.

Trump supporter charged after sucker-punching protester at North Carolina rally

March 11, 2016
A Donald Trump supporter has been charged with assault after multiple videos showed him sucker-punching a protester at a campaign rally in Fayetteville, N.C.

The videos, which appeared on social media early Thursday and are shot from different perspectives, show an African American with long hair wearing a white T-shirt leaving Trump’s Wednesday-night rally as the audience boos. He is being led out by men in uniforms that read “Sheriff’s Office.” The man extends a middle finger to the audience on his way out.

I understand that a certain far right blogger is clutching her pearls over a black Trump supporter who was "sucker punched."

Of course, said blogger and commenters ignore the nmany times Trump suppoters have done EXACTLY the same thing.

There will always be goons and jackasses (some even paid to do this) who like to "mix it up" at these rallies and demonstrations, but the commenters and the blog hostess refuse to understand that Trump supporters do the same. But they're hair is on fire only because it happened to a Trump supporter.

Their child-like naivete is pathetic, trying to paint ther entire Democratic Party as thugs, when their own Trumpublicans engage in EXACTLY THE SAME SORT OF VIOLENT behavior.

But there it is. Hypocrisy at its Republican finest.

"Asked on Fox about the possibility of some kind of special prosecutor looking at this whole affair, Trump said: “We’ve gotta get the attorney general to act. And he’s gotta act fast. He’s gotta appoint somebody.”

“This is major corruption,” Trump continued, “and this has to be known about before the election.”

And there you have it. Trump is practically pleading with Barr to salvage his reelection hopes, right there on national television.

Trump has been trying to manufacture narratives of corruption on the part of the Bidens for years. Each iteration has crashed and burned."

Imagine that! Preident Dumbass trying to use the DoJ to go after his opponents, just like they did in the good old Commie days in Russia! Dumbass Trump learned pretty good from his puppetmaster PooooooTin!

.People like you shaw are dangerous because you are all full of shit .. you believe everything thats in your favor. Once the story is deemed credable you will still Not believe it. There is a world for people like you. That word is brainwashed

Ray, here's Charlie Pierce in Esquire writing about what you commented on:

Charlie Pierce, in Esquire:

"The idea that even Bill Barr could gin up a special prosecution force and conclude its investigation all in the next 14 days is self-evidently loopy. He's a wounded animal.

He's a wounded animal. I didn't believe at first that the tawdry ratfcking of the Hunter Biden story really was the October Surprise on which El Caudillo Del Mar-a-Lago had been counting ever since Joe Biden clinched the Democratic nomination a century ago last spring. But, as the last week unfolded, and it was revealed that the story was so rancid that it prompted a wildcat byline strike by reporters at the New York Post, of all places, it had become clear that he'd been hoping that it would turn into the 2020 equivalent of the James Comey letter to Congress that did so much to help him win four years ago. And it is equally clear that he can't let it go because he has nothing else.

So, on Thursday night, the first time that they mute his microphone while Biden is talking, I don't know what will happen, but it will not be like anything we've seen in a political debate before. It is not inconceivable that he walks off the stage entirely. Nor is it inconceivable that he'll simply talk louder. Nor is it inconceivable that...well, there's nothing inconceivable anymore. That word doesn't mean what we thought it meant. Not anymore. Being a casual friend of Kristen Welker, I am seriously considering doing a novena on her behalf Wednesday night. Or, at the very least, I may send her a whip and a chair. He is a wounded animal, and he's chewing off his own leg to get out of the trap."

To Anonymous @4:31,

You wrote I believe "everything that's in my favor." What does that mean? I'm not on trial. Why would I need "everything that's in my favor?" I have opinions that, I hope, are informed by facts.

If you're referring to the story carried in the NY Post as deemed "credable(sic)" you are misinformed. The NY Post reporter behind the dubious Hunter Biden story refused to put his name on it, and one of two credited reporters only learned her byline was on the story after publication.

No other publication will carry the story because it hasn't been fact checked or verified. Having one dubious newspaper carry it does not make it "credable(sic)."

I'm sorry you are unable to understand this.

Ducky's here said...

I'm confused. Did Hillary's missing emails turn up on Hunter Biden's computers and did he abandon them because he couldn't afford the $85?
This is all moving so fast.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Ducky, it's not moving fast enough for Trump. He wants Barr to invetigate, indict, and jail Joe and Hunter before the election!

But that's been slowed down a bit because Trump has to have a little talk with his personal lawyer about hotel rooms and fake journalists who get him to reach into his trousers. LOL!
