I just wrote words that, as an American citizen, I never thought I'd write. And yet, here's a former flag officer of the US military calling for a coup d'etat, a treasonous action, against the country he was sworn to protect and defend against all enemies foreign and domestic.
This past weekend Michael Flynn spoke to a QAnon crowd about supporting domestic enemies who would overthrow the duly elected government of the United States.
Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn—now firmly entrenched in the lunatic fringe—told a QAnon conference this weekend that he supports a violent military coup in the U.S.
Video from the Dallas confab posted on social media shows Flynn was asked by an audience member “why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?” As the audience of conspiracy theorists cheered, Flynn responded: “No reason. I mean, it should happen here.”
Myanmar’s military in February seized control of the country, detaining leaders Aung San Suu Kyi and Win Myint, claiming their election was fraudulent. The junta has since killed 800 people in a brutal crackdown.
Flynn’s public support for an American version had critics on social media calling for the former Army general to be court-martialed.
Is the disgraced Flynn working with the guy who's being criminally investigated, Donald J. Trump, to overthrow the government of the United States?

Former President Donald Trump reportedly believes he's going to be "reinstated" as president within the next two months.
According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, "Trump has been telling a number of people he's in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August" because the widely criticized "audit" he's backing in Arizona will show he actually won the 2020 presidential election.
"He is not putting out statements about the 'audits' in states just for the sake of it," Haberman reports. "He's been laser focused on them, according to several people who've spoken with him."
Haberman notes that Trump's obsession with retaking the White House this year comes as he's staring at the possibility of being indicted by the New York Attorney General's Office, which is conducting a criminal probe of the Trump Organization for potential tax fraud.

Facing criminal indictment in New York, twice impeached loser pretty sure he's going to be "reinstated" to the presidency, as if that was a thing that could legally happen, Constitutionally speaking, by a bunch of phoney Republican "audits" and rescued by a disgraced, twice fired general who was essentially kicked out of the military for sexual harassment and is now today denying he actually said what he very clearly said about the idea of a military coup.
History has shown that this sort of cancer cannot be left untreated.

There is no bipartisanship possible with fanatics.
It's time to stop fucking around with these traitors, insurrectionists, and seditionists. They need to be rounded up and criminally charged for their actions before they succeed in destroying the Republic, and they need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The question we should be asking in all this Flynn coup talk is:
Why did he feel comfortable enough to say something like that in public?
The disgraced and treasonous Flynn is now denying he ever said a military coup like the one in Myanmar should happen here. He's claiming his words were taken out of context.
EXCEPT. His words saying there's no reason a coup like the one that happened in Myanmar couldn't happen here. "It should happen here." Those words are on tape.
You can hear the QAnon traitors cheering on the traitor who suggested that the military should overthrow the US government, and as happened in Myanmar, kill Americans! That's what happened in the Myanmar coup d'etat.
And Flynn did not discourage the cheering, nor did he say that would be treasonous and a betrayal of his oath to agree with it.

The only way to reinstate a former president who lost a democratic election is by overthrowing the government. Anyone who supports this is saying that their loyalty to one man is above their loyalty to our country. This is not patriotic. It’s treasonous.
Calls are growing louder for Flynn to face a court martial and lose his rank and pension over his ugly, anti-American goals. He spits in the face of every man and woman who honorably wore the uniform to protect our great nation. He is scum.

If a man of General Flynn's character was able to rise to the rank of Lt. General, the third highest possible rank in the US Army, then it's an indication that something is seriously flawed in the screening and promotion practices in our military services. All the more reason that the US needs to clean house and root out white supremacists and extremists within the ranks before the United States experiences an Argentine or Myanmar style military coup and our democracy dissolves into a right wing junta.
Ideology and political affiliations aside, Flynn revealed himself to be a traitor, working as an agent of foreign powers, Russia and Turkey, without disclosing to the intelligence community as required.
I think you are correct about Flynn. The one piece of advice Obama gave to Trump coming into office was not to hire Michael Flynn. Chris Christie told him the same thing.

Psychosis definition: Psychosis is when people lose some contact with reality. This might involve seeing or hearing things that other people cannot see or hear (hallucinations) and believing things that are not actually true (delusions).
