You will hear in this voice recording how Trumpers planned to overthrow a free and fair election and illegitimately install Trump for a second term, against the will of the American people:

Jason Sullivan and the people on the damning call were planning on intimidating members of Congress, who would be exercising their Constitutional duties by certifying the 2020 election results, because they listened to and believed Trump's Big Lie.
Trump himself knew he lost the election, even though he continued to tell his gullible followers that it was stolen.

The GOP has said no Biden nominees will be approved to the Federal bench. No SCOTUS hearings. And on and on.
This moment was the existential fear I had when Trump won. That the judiciary would be corrupted. And it has been.
And at a minimum, with at least 5 young conservatives on the SCOTUS, only Thomas is in the "old" camp, we're already screwed for a generation.

How is governor, who takes an oath to defend and protect the Constitution and faithfully execute and take care to follow the laws of our country, not get impeached?

Impermanence is reality Dave. In as much as one works overtime to try and make things permanent nothing ever is. If your worst fears materialize folks will adjust and at some time after the "hapening" reason and truth will again arise.
Grasping and Attachment are two primary reasons humans eperience so much emotional suffering.

You may have misunderstood what "one president favored." But I'm used to anti-abortion nutters making stuff up and fanning the flames of disinformation and hatred. There's a whole right-wing industry out there for such behaviors.
Right now, if a woman has a horribly deformed fetus that cannot live outside the womb, or a fetus that's stopped developing (which is not uncommon) the right-wing nutters who've passed restrictions on abortion, are forcing women to carry that dead fetus to term with possible dire consequences to the mother's health. And now, some states are requiring a certificate of death for miscarriages -- even 3 for 4 month miscarriages!

Legislation in Pennsylvania recently advanced by Republican state lawmakers on a committee would require that miscarriages or abortions handled at health care facilities be treated as fetal deaths and be followed by a burial or cremation — regardless of how long the pregnancy lasted.
That is insane! I had 3 miscarriages before my two healthy pregnancies, all attributed to a hormone condition neither I nor my docs knew I had. The anti-abortion nutters would have forced me to have burials for 3 and 4 month collection of tissues that never developed beyond six weeks! The hospital took care of the tissues that my body rejected and no one arrested me for something NATURE did.
This country has lost its mind over abortion. European, Scandinavian, and Asian countries do not punish women for miscarriages -- but the anti-abortion nutters are introducing crazy laws to do just that to women.
PS. Israel -- the darling of the Evangelical/Trumper crowd, takes billions of dollars from the US, and abortions are legal and often free, paid for by the government that takes those billions of $$$ from the US. I've never heard the anti-abortion crowd say a word about this. Ever! I wonder why that is.
