Don't listen to the naysayers. This is good news for the country. Thanks to Joe Biden and his administration.
DJ Trump wants to be POTUS again, but all he has to offer the American people is "retribution," and whining about how unfair he's been treated.
Trump is a crybaby who's done nothing for the American people except give permanent tax breaks to billionaires and make us look like idiots in front of the world for putting him in the WH.
Biden’s 2021 infrastructure bill has created “a boom in large-scale infrastructure,” wrote MS analysts, while domestic business investment “is rebounding, led by manufacturing.”

Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is “driving a boom in large-scale infrastructure,” wrote Ellen Zentner, chief U.S. economist for Morgan Stanley, in a research note released Thursday.
In addition to infrastructure, “manufacturing construction has shown broad strength,” she wrote.

Not only the good economic news Shaw, but border apprehensions, illegal crossings and numbers of asylum seekers are all down.
Take it all in folks...
Economic numbers... Up.
Border crossings, both illegal and legal... Down.
Next up for the conservatives and MAGA folks to consider...
Rural leaders, mostly from the GOP, are in a vise. On the one side they want to hammer Biden and tout their self sufficiency. But on the other hand, they need help for their people and they know it. So what do they do? How do they handle this reality?
Here's what one GOP leader had to say...
“We have new parks; the school systems are flourishing with all the additional revenue; the roads are in the best condition they’ve been in,” said Tony Zartman, a GOP leader in Fairfield County, Ohio, who has traveled to more than 40 counties across the state spreading this message. “I tell them, ‘I am a die-hard conservative, but I support renewables because they’ve just been amazing for us financially.’”
Let that sink in... new parks, a flourishing school system, better roads and more. Only idiots would say no to that.
But there's more...
The "emphasis on rural areas puts local GOP officials in the position of overseeing massive amounts of development funded by Biden’s law. Of the approximately $70 billion in new clean energy investment dollars announced since the climate law passed, roughly $51 billion — or 70 percent — is in counties won by Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, according to Jack Conness, a policy analyst at Energy Innovation: Policy and Technology, a nonpartisan think tank."
Now who in their right mind would argue with this kind of aid sent to the cities and counties in the US that need it most? Isn't that good government, a sort of "forming a more perfect Union" and promoting "the general Welfare" of our citizenry?
And yet, other GOP leaders in Ohio, at the state level, are moving to make it harder, or in some cases illegal for local jurisdictions to accept this type of aid from the Feds. the US House is even working to defund these efforts that are putting good jobs and real money in the hands of rural, working and poor Americans across our country in areas like Ohio.
Why?
So President Biden can't claim he worked to help all Americans, fund rural America and help us cut our dependancy on fossil fuels.
One more time for the MAGA folks... Why? Hmmm...
Here's the link for y'all...
With their heads in the sand the gop attempts to waddle on. Backwards.
America will leave their whiny as**s behind.
Dave M. From you link:
"Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and U.S. Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) are among the GOP officials throwing their weight behind the electric vehicle battery sector.
But other Republicans, such as conservatives in the Texas Capitol, are going in the opposite direction, pushing to repeal subsidies for solar and wind projects even though renewable energy has proved essential for the state’s electrical grid.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and senior Republicans on Capitol Hill leadership have pushed for repealing the renewable energy credits in the Inflation Reduction Act — though resistance from members of his caucus whose districts are already benefiting from the credits led him to drop some of those demands."
There you have it -- a perfect example of which party is fully into keeping this country divided. Politicians like McCarthy and Abbott would rather let their own people suffer than have a program from the Biden administration, that clearly is a boon to their district and state, succeed.
I've never, in my lifetime, read of so many people so determined to ignore their own best interests for a purported political reason, with no good reason beyond wanting to'own the libs' than to improve their own and their children's future.
Rev, Do you prefer grape or cherry?
If you looked at the data available you would find that the US economy is still in an uncertain state. If you look at prices and it's affect on the middle class and poor you would find that they are in a recession because with food/gas/utilities ate record highs and wages not keeping up it places a huge burden on the working poor. This doesn't really affect the rich so the politicians don't give a sh--.
You beat your chest in the fact or rumor that illegals crossing the border are down. If they are crossing illegally how do you know the crossings are down?
We needed an influx of federal money into the infrastructure and it good to see it finally happen. It is unfortunate that the bill provided enough pork to satisfy any politician. Now we have our taxes paying for wealthy students to not honor their commitments when that money could have been used for better purposes.
As i said at Dave D's site, in many more words however, both parties, with their dualistic thinking are responsible for the divisive nature of our national dialog. Likely because neither want it any other way really. This nation's political parties invest more in verbal bullets and denigrating their opposition today than they do working for Americans and the problems facing all of us in the US and humanity at large.
And, neither party will ever accept responsibility for their part in the fu****g mess they and America have contributed to creating.
Returning to the economic theme of today's post...
Remember when during the Trump Admin MAGA folks said all that matters is the economy? Well today, again we received more news that the US economy is... ready for it?
BOOMING!
The stock market is way up... again.
Skud... show your links.
Otherwise you're just spouting gobbledy gook... a frequent past time of MAGA folks.
I'm Not sure what in my post I am suppose to back up. If you have shopped at all in the last year you can relate to what I said. Yes inflation is down but the resulting effects of rapid inflation are still being felt. Prices have a history of going up but not going down so even if inflation is 3% the two year cycle of pricing increases will linger. I also made a statement that this affects the middle class and the poor but not the rich so maybe you don't feel it.
Rev makes a statement that illegal crossings are down. How can you say they are down when they are illegal so not counted. I know it sounds good to say that but it is impossible to prove. That's like saying we catch all the illegal drugs except for what we don't catch. Your final statement says it all, fears that a recession was on the horizon HAVE YET TO BE REALIZED. What that is saying is it is not ruled out. Hopefully we will come through this with a sound economy but it is still unknown.
skud I also made a statement that this affects the middle class and the poor but not the rich so maybe you don't feel it.
I drive a 20 year old Honda and live in a 500 sq.ft. condo in Boston. That's rich? LOL!
skud: "...fears that a recession was on the horizon HAVE YET TO BE REALIZED. What that is saying is it is not ruled out."
So you're still holding the Biden administration's feet to the fire for something that has not happened? Really?
Skud... again, you can spin it any way you want, but the GOP is reconsidering their lines of attack on the border because the numbers are so low now.
Just like they are reconsidering help from a Dem president for their hurting cities. Help Trump could have given them if he really cared.
Remember the "best" health care plan he promised? How about the infrastructure week promises? How about the wall he promised Mexico would pay for?
You see, Biden, while not perfect, is trying to work for all of America. Not just the fat cats who under Trump got a huge tax break. Which Trump of course stupidly promised they would use to hire more ppl and increase salaries.
Then they used it to buy back stock.
