A Trump supporter in Iowa asked him how his faith has grown since he entered presidential politics in 2015 and who has mentored him in his journey.
Trump, being a non-religious conman, cannot answer, so he babbles on about himself with comments unrelated to the supporter's question.
It is another example of how his religious cultists continue to worship this scoundrel and conman, even when he gives them living, breathing evidence of his lack of knowledge of any religion, let alone Christianity, and what it means to be a man of faith.

What i personally find amusing is the number of people working diligently to keep this flea sized awareness constantly in the news.
We are all constantly absorbing, and responding to, the naratives of a sensation crazed media and two agenda driven political ideologies. In essence allowing those essentially negative energies, external to ourselves, to control our thoughts and influence our decisions.

I continue to follow what Trump says and does because a very large part of our country admires and supports this cheat, liar, fraud, and (per the judge in the E. Carroll Jean civil suit) a rapist.
How can I not be concerned with that many Americans -- WHO VOTE! -- willingly allow themselves to be conned by this offensive human being?
Because of the way the electoral college is constructed in the Constitution and the dishonest Trumpublicans who run certain states, Trump could very well be installed back in the WH! And that's my fear.
To repeat: I'm not a Biden cultist, I understand his short-comings, his weaknesses, etc. BUT! He know how government works and has shown he is a decent, though flawed, human being, which is something I can support in a president.
Sure, we should have more political parties, more choices, debates, etc., but we don't. We have to accept this for now and work for change. But right now we have to do all we can to keep that repulsive malignant narcissist, liar, cheat, fraud, and rapist out of the WH.

By realizing that you, me, and every other sentient being thinking and arguing as we do, are, nonetheless powerless to change the perseptions of people who believe strongly that what they believe is in right. And they likely won't ever consider anything else.
That you are educated in facts, are aware of the delusions of many, and that you provide factual data for your audience, and you vote your conscience, you've done enough.
All the previous presidents have had their faults and shortcomings. The Democrats will admit it, the Republicans won't.
No person of genuine faith would struggle with this question. Heck, GW Bush had no problem with it in the 2000 debates.
The reason Trump avoided it is because he's not a Christian at all. Nothing at all, absolutely nothing in his life testifies to his faith. He does not value faith, love or charity. He does actively work to serve the "least of these." He does not model the life of the Good Samaritan. He does not "look to the interests of others", does not give his life in service to the poor. He does not share his faith for the edification of others.
SO when pressed with a question most believers could knock out of the park, Trump knew it and dissembled.
Because what else could he do?
Dave M., And the folks who profess to be committed Christians have no problem with Trump's obvious religious hypocrisy. He's playing them for suckers, once again, the way he did with his Bible-holding stunt and with his inability to answer the question put to him when he was running in 2016 on what verses in the Bible are his favorite. He said that question was too personal and he demurred. Just like a guy who has no clue would do. And his Christian followers have no problem with this.
Les, There is no way to get through to Trump's cultists, no matter how many facts or what evidence one places before their noses. Cultists never see their cult leader for the conman that he is.
