Peters espoused the false conspiracy theory that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election to President Joe Biden due to ballot fraud.
She was accused of allowing access to the voting system to an expert affiliated with My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, a leading proponent of the Trump election conspiracy theory."

At Mar-a-Lago in 2022, Trump called Tina Peters a “rock star,” praised her work investigating his false election claims, and said he would look at endorsing her.
Peters was just sentenced to 9 years in prison for illegally hacking voting systems.

Been around awhile - voting has always been straightforward - just count and tabulate. For a few hundred years, the counters are professionals, don't care about winners and losers, just get it correct. But this is he era of Trump. Who cares who votes what, let's cheat. Why is is disgrace of humanity even on a ballot?
