Isn't that Frida Kahlo?

thanks, James, I have a friend named Rita, and I must have been thinking of her when I typed the name.

No problem. I was a spanish major, and I actually went to her childhood home my final semester.

James, where is that. I have been to the house where she lived with Diego Rivera in Coyoacan, perhaps my favorite area of D.F. a few times.

Nice picture Shaw. Nice to see someone else appreciate a little of the Mexican Culture.

The painting you posted is called "Nude with Calla Lilies." It was painted in 1944.

On a related note, you might enjoy the music of Lila Downs who sang "La Llorona" in the movie "Frida."

Her music is incredible.

Thank you, Dave. I had another title on it earlier, then realized I may have confused it with something else.

Thanks for finding me the correct title.

Oops, Dave, you're right. I went to the home she shared with Diego as well. I went to Diego's childhood home, in Guanajuato.

James, yo tambien. Actually I stayed at a small rooming house across the street and about two doors down from that house.

Guanajuato is one of my favorite Mexican cities to visit.
