I HAD no time to hate, because
The grave would hinder me,
And life was not so ample I
Could finish enmity. | |

Nor had I time to love; but since | 5 |
Some industry must be, | |
The little toil of love, I thought,
Was large enough for me. --Emily Dickinson |

I wish you well, Shaw. When you're feeling better, stop by.
Thanks, Emily Dickinson has my love, too - so few words, such deep thought
Shaw,
Lets say "I HAVE no time to hate" because the present tense is so much more positive than the past tense...
Never give up living for the future...
It takes more energy to hate than to love. As it takes more muscles to frown than it does to laugh.
If more people realized some of these small things, maybe the world wouldn't be such a negative place.
"As you give love out, it's received and reciprocated--and it grows. That's the beauty of it. Love is an energy. You can feed it to people, and they in turn feed it to others, and eventually it comes back."
—Hill Harper
We wake up every morning and we make a choice to either face the world positively or negatively - Imagine what a world it would be if EVERY person decided to be positive!
A lovely poem, Shaw. My best wishes to you.
