I’m asking the gentlefolk who come here and read this blog to help me out.
I have a troll who regularly comes to this blog desperately seeking attention; and as you will see below, he comes here so often that I cannot avoid acknowledging his terrible need to be seen and heard.
It appears he suffers from obsessive perseveration--The inability to cease a particular action. This malady can range in type. In any of the cases, the individual enters or continues a train of thought or action that is narrowly focused; in a sense, having tunnel vision. This focus could be on anything from a simple idea to a complex problem. Even if the original problem solving strategy is not working, the person may not be able to change planes of thinking, suggesting a disability in abstract reasoning.
I haven’t the time this poor wretch craves to give to his needs, so I would hope, out of human kindness, that some of you will go to his mostly ignored blog and give him what he so urgently and insistently wants: ATTENTION.
See below for the dozens of comments he’s left here at PE. I don’t answer them, for obvious reasons. But I’m not without human compassion. Therefore, I ask that the readers here give the poor benighted soul the acknowledgement he so desperately seeks.
As you can see by the comments he’s left here, he’s somewhat limited in his ability to express himself. But that’s no reason to mock and pity him. Oh no! We’re not all blessed with the same amount of intellect. Be kind. Go to his little blog and tell him what an incisive mind he has. It’s not a sin to lie when one is shoring up such an insecure and pitiful little beggar.
His blognym is Thersites. This is his adorable little blog. Read it and understand why he continues to come here, begging for recognition.
Dear, dear, little unloved and unread poltroon.
Someone, anyone, please tell him what a clever little slink he is.

Oh, I forgot to mention this, he’s a conservative.
Here are the comments he's left here at PE and which I've been forced to delete. He's a persevering little gnat, and the fact that I've deleted him matters not. Just look at all the comments he's sent me, and imagine the amount of time [but not the imagination] necessary to devote to his unfortunate malady:

Sadly, I doubt any attention from us will satisfy his needs. He clearly has a deep, profound craving to be beaten by Harry Reid. Nothing short of the Senate Majority Leader himself, in full dominatrix gear and armed with a whip he is prepared to use freely for hours on end, will bring peace to this troubled man.

I posted a link to this post in Silverfiddle's blog to expose him for the small-minded troll that he truly is.
It's gone now, but at least his compadres over at SF's know the sort of dirty work he does when he doesn't think anyone's looking.
