General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..."
And Donald Trump will put them in cages like the "animals" that he says they are.
"If a Muslim man had burned down three WHITE Christian churches, Trump would have banned all Muslims, attacked him incessantly on Twitter, and found a way to blame Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
But since it was a WHITE man who burned down BLACK churches, all we get is crickets. Once again, his silence in the face of white, homegrown domestic terrorism is deafening.." --Omar Romero

Trump really is stupid. It's true he has a feral survival instinct and a good bead on what stupid people like himself want to hear. But mostly, he's just a cretin who believes his own ignorant twaddle.
Shouldn't you also include give us your poor and unskilled and we will feed, cloth and provide medical care for them. We don't care what it costs because the middle class taxpayer will pay for it.
Other than attack the sitting president what has the house majority accomplished since being elected. Did you hear that there was no Russia collusion and trump had pancakes for breakfast.
I did see where OTG is warning democrat candidates to not eat their young becaue it will only help djt win re-election. I still don't believe that will happen.
Unfortunately a VERY SIZABLE minority believes his twaddle. Enough did so it got him elected, and, keeps his support at levels that could result in his reelection. So every registered democrat AND independent (rational anti Trump independents) damn well needs to vote in 2020.
skud: "Shouldn't you also include give us your poor and unskilled and we will feed, cloth and provide medical care for them."
I'm certain that the Xtian Right's favorite philosopher, Jesus Christ, would include that as well. I used to be a Xtian so I know a bit about what Jesus told his followers:
Jesus said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
What has the House done?
From VOX: House Democrats will unveil full details of their first bill in the new Congress on Friday — sweeping anti-corruption measures aimed at stamping out the influence of money in politics and expanding voting rights.
This is HR 1, the first thing House Democrats will tackle now that a new Congress has been sworn in. To be clear, this legislation has little to no chance of passing the Republican-controlled Senate or being signed by President Donald Trump. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell already bluntly stated, “That’s not going to go anywhere.”
What can we say, eh Skud? The current GOP is against cleaning up corruption and the influence of money in politics and it's not in favor of expanding voting rights, since that would imperil them even more. This is a progressive country, and the Goopers will do all in their dirty power to keep people from voting, even if it means outright cheating like they did in South Carolina.
PS. We know NOTHING about what the Mueller Report said. We know only what Trump's handpicked lackey AG told us it said. One of those things AG Barr told America is that the report DID NOT EXONERATE Trump.
Trump's a corrupt, lying con man. Some court will get him sooner or later.
RN you are correct.
All AG's are hand picked even ones that sell guns to kill border patrol agents and those that meet candidates spouses in secret meetings.
I'm trying to understand what the anti corruption part is all about. Doesn't that hurt the democrats more than the republicans because they spend more to buy an election. Are you trading sides?
Anyone who wants to vote has the opportunity they just may not have the desire. What is to be gained by having millions of voters on the rolls who do not exit.
We have the best politicians money can buy and the respective parties spend large fortunes to make sure they stay corrupt. I do understand they the democrats have to keep fanning the fire because they stand for nothing, except free stuff for all, just send the bill to the middle class.
I think Skud, to be fair, it's send the bill to the financially well off. Just like Eisenhower did.
