General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Nearly two-thirds of voters think the president of the United States is a criminal, according to a new poll released on Tuesday.

A new survey from Quinnipiac University asked: "Do you think that President Trump committed any crimes before he was president, or don't you think so?"

Sixty-four percent responded that yes, they thought Trump had committed crimes..."

It doesn't matter what the pubklic polls say, it matters how many Republican votes we can get in the Senate for impeachment.

Watching the quarterly results and extrapolating from them is about as effective as decided when to sell stocks on the weekly numbers. That said, 3.2% growth is a great number and good for the great majority of US families.

It's not as good as some Obama quarters, but better than others.

And if the trend holds, along with record low unemployment and continued job growth, it's difficult to see America turning out a President Trump up for reelection. Especially given that the Dems are not really trying to make a case for election apart from "we're not Trump."

Is it bad for us as Dems to root for the good economy to continue?

I think the Democrats need to emphasize that trump and the GOP want to take away health care and have no plan to replace the ACA. I think the Dems can also testify to the fact that trump and the GOP have truned back the clock decades on clean air, oceans, rives, and streams as well as on other regulatory agencies to the detriment of people's health and welfare. Trump's administration RAISED taxes on military families' benefits! While corporations get away with paying nothing, the trump administration rasied taxes on military widows and their families.

Does anyone care about the deficit anymore, or is that a problem only when a Democrat is president? A majority of Americans DO NOT like the idea of America separating families and putting children in cages. What about the impact on Middle America due to Trump's trade wars? What about a president who thinks Nazis are "nice people?"

There may be something else in America's collective conscience that would make it feel shameful for this country to accept a bully, a liar, a cheat, and a fraud for an economy to continue to grow. (At some point it WILL contract; it always has.)

The Democrats have to ask America if it's okay to lose its dignity and soul for a temporary gain.

Do our values matter anymore?

We know the Trump supporters happily abandoned theirs for policy gains.

Shaw... speaking of abandoning values, here's a searing article on the "values voters" leaving theirs behind in a fit of relativism, all in the service of getting what they want...

The Changing Values of the GOP Voter

As for the candidates, there is plenty they can do, but aside from Eliz Warren, and a little from Harris, I'm not hearing much apart from "not his policies." Castro is a good example. What does he have? He's against how we deal with people at the border. Great. So are the great majority of Dems. What's his solution, or any other Democrats for that matter, to stopping illegal immigration? How will his idea to de-criminalize it slow or stem the tide?

And we can apply those questions to almost every issue. Sure, we can't repeal Obama Care. Okay... what are the solutions there folks are offering, that can get passed, to amend and improve it?

Who is proposing something for the American ppl, the 20-30% we need, to hang their hats on?

No Dave it is not bad for democrats to want a strong economy to continue. However, it is bad for democrats to continue to eat their own, something which is already starting. AND, it is VERY bad for democrats to not continue to point out the character flaws, the ethical lapses, and the alleged criminal behavior (and supporting evidence) of one DJT.
