General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Democrats quickly swept aside the articles of impeachment accusing the homeland security secretary of refusing to enforce immigration laws and breach of public trust, calling them unconstitutional.

“Tabling articles of impeachment would be unprecedented in the history of the Senate — it’s as simple as that,” said Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the minority leader.

Mr. McConnell did not mention that he voted in favor of an unsuccessful Republican effort in 2021 to dismiss a second impeachment case against former President Donald J. Trump over the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol before the Senate held a trial."

Let the weeping and gnashing of teeth begin.

How much time and taxpayer money did the Party of Putin waste on their PR failure?

No crimes or misdemeanor by Mayorkas. No crimes or misdemeanor by Biden.

Meanwhile their master and commander snoozes in court and whines like a spoiled brat.

And remember the genius mind who was behind these failures: Donald Trump.

It was a stupid idea to begin with and the republicans are becoming out of control. They just can't accept that stupid and lying are not a crime. Time for a viable third party maybe call it The Peoples Party.

Neither Biden or Mayorkas are stupid skud. You're entitled to your opinion. As wrong as it is.

Both Biden and Mayorkas are far less dishonest than almost everyone in the gop and certainly light years more honest that the pathological liar djt..

...and all it took was an unconstitutional dereliction of duty by Democrats to do it.

As always, you're wrong. But your Fuhrer's party absolutely commited an unconstitutional dereliction of duty. trump should have been impeached AND found guilty and removed from office.

Leslie, The border is secure yet under both these incompetents illegal entries have increased to over 2 million a year. Is it not a lie to say the border is secure under these statics?

They held the Trump trials. Mayorkas, not so much. He has a (D) after his name, so Constitutions don't apply, apparently.

Nope. There's no "Constitution" involved in this: No high crimes and misdemeanors were charged. This impeachment was based on a policy disagreements.

You sound like Trump: "Waaah! Waaaah! Waaaah!"

Abetting a multimillion alien invasion isn't a high crime or misdemeanor? Gotta hand it to Democrats, they do love redefining the meaning of words when it comes to getting criminals with (D)s after their names off the hook.

Kremlin agent -FJ is lying again. "He has a (D) after his name, so Constitutions don't apply, apparently."

That would be HIS take on Trump, of course. Trump declared, “Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

He deliberately ignores the Menendez and Hunter Biden indictments.

Alter ego Ol' Joe Con Putin is engaging in some hilarious projection!

"Abetting a multimillion alien invasion isn't a high crime or misdemeanor?"

"Alien invasion". Sounds like a terrifying sci-fi story, doesn't it? The purpose is to instill and spread fear and loathing, of course.

Merriam-Webster:
Invasion
1: an act of invading
especially : incursion of an army for conquest or plunder
2: the incoming or spread of something usually hurtful (Trumpism fits this definition.)

Of course ol' Joe Con Putin cannot cite ANY high crime or misdemeanor in federal or state laws that was committed by Mayorkas. He should see Trump's charges for that. Which leads us to TWO projections in this sentence: "Gotta hand it to Democrats, they do love redefining the meaning of words when it comes to getting criminals with (D)s after their names off the hook."

No evidence cited, of course. As with all fascists, accusations are as good as evidence.

And they insist Trump is being "persecuted", when in fact he being PROSECUTED for CRIMES.

Sociopaths can be clever, but they can't deceive all of us, can they?

We've seen enough authoritarian sociopaths to read them like a book.

Speaking of books, see John Dean's "Conservatives Without Conscience" and "Authoritarian Nightmare" for a handy guide to understanding their ilk.
