APPARENTLY, A CARTOON OF SARAH PALIN

having her shoes shined by our bi-racial POTUS has been circulating around the "intertubes," by certain elements of the GOP who believe it is hilarious.

In the interest of "fair and balanced" cartooning, we present a more accurate representation of reality:

I came across the first picture the other day at LCR's blog and I thought it was in poor taste...

Now, with that second picture it will be fun to see how things go now that the shoe is on the other foot...

...oh and they say that two wrongs never make a right...

Might not but it sure goes a long way in defining the concept of fair and balanced!

I pretty much agree with Tao. I find both in poor taste. But together like this, they are not near as bad.

...but the more I think of it, the less I like either. Combined, they are racist and sexist together. Imagine, say, one that showed Michael Steele shining shoes and Nancy Pelosi as the maid.

I doubt you'd see anything like these stereotypes, say, for a cartoon with McCain and/or Biden.
