General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

"...the filth, the scum, the inhuman alt-right core of Trumpism..."
PM Carpenter on the alt-right Nazi filth that marched in Charlotteville, Va., today:
Welcome to Donald Trump's America
"We’re going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump [to] take our country back," said white supremacist and all-too-typical Trump-voter David Duke to reporters today — words meant to be heard by the sick, ignorant white working class, which put the sick, ignorant Donald Trump in office.
"Many of the white nationalist protesters carried campaign signs for Mr. Trump," reports the NY Times.
In an insult to everyone with any appreciation for abysmal vileness of Trump, the president denounced "in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides" — the most egregious display having been a vote for this most wretched of presidents, who of course thrives on hatred, bigotry and violence. (You will note he condemned the counterprotesters with equal rhetorical force, because he is sick, ignorant, hateful and so on.)
Beginning last night and extending well into today, his supporters in Charlottesville, Va. have been seen "waving Confederate flags, chanting Nazi-era slogans, wearing helmets and carrying shields … [and] chanting phrases like 'You will not replace us,' and 'Jew will not replace us.'"
These are the filth, the scum, the inhuman alt-right core of Trumpism, in whose ninth circle there reigns the satanic toddler himself.
Trump's America:
One killed as car plows into counter-protesters at white power rally in Virginia
By Ben Kochman August 12, 2017 | 2:14pm |
Updated: At least one person was killed when a car plowed into a group of counter-protesters at a white supremacist rally in Virginia on Saturday afternoon, authorities said. Shocking video from the scene shows a vehicle zooming toward the crowd in downtown Charlottesville, VA.
The car appeared to strike two other vehicles, sending protesters flying onto their windshields. Video showed blood spattered on the windshield of one car.

Somebody ought to tell fucking dumbshit David Duke that he never had the country in the first place, so he cannot take it back. He will always be a fringe idiot talking to the dumbest, stupidest, mouth-breathing idiots that slouch around us spewing shit, hatred, bigotry, and nonsense.
Nazis marched in an American city today -- our grandfathers died fighting that scum 70 years ago and Nazi filth is now marching in our streets. We have a cowardly little snot of a president unable to condemn outright that scum unless he also claims "many sides." There are no "many sides" here, just Nazis and KKKers who proudly support Donald J. Trump. And Donald J. Trump is happy to have the support of Nazi and KKK scum.
The right wingers who voted for the cowardly little creep who's afraid to unequivocally condemn what happened in Charlottesville on Saturday -- those people own this and the death of the young American woman plowed down by the white supremacist terrorist from Ohio who killed her.
This is American terrorism brought to us by Nazi white supremacists and KKKers, and a complicit POTUS.
Chris Cillizza:
What Trump failed to do is what he has always promised to do: Speak blunt truths. The people gathered in Charlottesville this weekend are white supremacists, driven by hate and intolerance. Period. There is no "other side" doing similar things here.
"Mr. President - we must call evil by its name," tweeted Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colorado. "These were white supremacists and this was domestic terrorism." Tweeted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, another fellow Republican: "Very important for the nation to hear @potus describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists."
What Trump is doing -- wittingly or unwittingly -- is giving cover to the sort of beliefs (and I use that word lightly) on display in Charlottesville today.
Trump failed as a POTUS today, as he has almost every day since January 20.
