President Trump tried to fire Robert Mueller before eventually backing down.
In Davos, Switzerland, reporters asked Lord Dampnut about the reports that he wanted to fire Robert Mueller last June. Trump answered the reporters' questions by calling the report "fake news," and saying the New York Times is "failing."
For the record: Trump is the worst, biggest, most flagrant liar that has ever defiled the Oval Office.
If he says he didn't do it or calls the report "fake," then we know the report must be true. Everything DJT says is is a lie until proved otherwise.

The New York Times reports that the president ordered Mueller fired last June, but White House counsel Don McGahn defied him.
So far, we know this:
*Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, then bragged to the Russians that he got the investigation off his back.
*Trump told NBC's Lester Holt that the reason he fired Comey was because of the Russia investigation.
*Trump'ss NSA Michael Flynn is charged with a felon for lying about his Russian contacts and his work for foreign governments while in the employ of the White House.
*Trump's son, Donald J. Trump, Jr., met in Trump Tower with Russian agents to gain information about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign.
*Since January 20, 2017, trump has lied over 2,000 times.
*While his 3rd wife was recovering from giving birth to his son, trump entered into a sexual relationship with a porn star. Trump then had his lawyers pay the porn star $130,000 to keep her mouth shut (ha!) before the 2016 election.The Evangelical Christians are fine with this.

Sean Hannity on Thursday night was forced to backtrack on his own show as Fox News confirmed a New York Times report he had just attacked. Earlier in his show, Hannity blasted a report that said President Donald Trump had tried to fire special counsel Robert Mueller last year and accused the Times of “trying to distract you.”
“Our sources, and I’ve checked in with many of them, they’re not confirming that tonight,” he said. “And how many times has the New York Times and others gotten it wrong?”
By the end of the show, he was forced to admit that Fox News had confirmed the Times report.
BTW, that's the same report trump said is "FAKE!"

Trump certainly knows all about fake, he's a Master of Fake. Both the creating and spreading of all things fake that support his lies.
Trump and his surrogates are believers in the power of illusions and work diligently at creating them for the true believers.
Trump told someone else to fire Mueller. When that person refused to fire Mueller, Trump, himself, could have done it. But, like most bullies, Trump is a chickenshit. He didn’t have the balls to do it himself.
Sigh... I was just remembering the days of not one personal scandal after 8 years of Pres Obama. Political difficulties yes, but not a whiff of personal scandal. Nothing...
Trump barely made 8 hours before the lying began and everyday he is closer to a reckoning for him and his admin.

Dave, President Obama is the kind of man trump's base would never support: He's learned, he's honest, he's a loving, faithful husband, and he's an adoring father to his daughters. He never embarrassed America on the world stage as the current jamook has done. I've seen many presidencies in my lifetime, but trump's is the ONLY presidency that has had the British wanting him to stay away. They destest his dishonesty, his shameless incivility, and his ignorance. Our best ally doesn't want the POTUS anywhere near its shores.

The whole "secret society" fluffer just points out how naive and childish trump's supporters are. They fell for a nothing beefcake calendar of semi-nude photos of Putin and a joke about a "secret society" made by an FBI agent. The Trumpistas were so sure that there was a there there, they were so desperate for a there there. There was and is none. When will they learn? Oh wait! Never. They're supporting the biggest cipher in the world for POTUS.
Next comes the airhead Hannity telling his gullible audience that the reports of trump wanting to fire Mueller were not true because the New York Times reported it, and the NYT has gotten stories wrong in the past. Then the moron finds out his own cable news network confirmed the story, and he cut to a car crash. Oh man, if Trumpistas are watching Hannity for any sort of information, it is no wonder they fall for garbage and idiocy all the time. Childlike gullibility.
My 8-year old grandson is smarter by far than the Trumpistas ever will be. SAD!
