The Wall started as an applause line at Trump’s campaign rallies, and has morphed into one of the dumbest policy debates in the history of American politics.
That cannot be any clearer. It was shouted at almost every Trump campaign rally.
Perhaps someone, anyone, can tell me why the American Taxpayer should pay for a wall that...
1. The majority of the American people do not support. 2. The Texas Republican Congressional leaders along the border do not want or support. 3. Was promised to be paid for by Mexico.
Dave, All sane Americans know that Trump is first and foremost a pathological liar and that when he's caught promising something he cannot deliver, he will lie his way out of that promise. That is what this border crisis/shutdown is all about. Trump promised his base that Mexico would pay for the wall, and his base believed the lie. Everyone else knew Trump was selling b.s. Trump put himself in an untenable position, and it is not up to the Democrats to help him out of his stupidity.
Trump absolutely promised America that "Mexico would pay for the wall." Now, like the lying weasel that he is, he's trying to convince his gullible cultists that he never said that.
If you read the far right rabid bloggers, you'll see that they believe the Liberals/Democrats "lost their minds" when Trump was "elected" POTUS.
The facts, however, prove that it is the TrumpCultists who lost all reason when they heard the charlatan scream "MEXICO WILL PAY FOR THE WALL!" and then voted for America's Con Man.
We're the sane ones; they're the ones who've lost their minds.
America kbows this. With only 38% favorability with the American people, how do TrumpCultists continue to believe he's doing a fabulous job? Apparently, like Trump, his cultists ignore facts and live in a fantasy universe. SAD!
