Jon Ossoff has 16,000-vote lead over Republican David Perdue
The Rev. Raphael Warnock, a Democrat, defeated Sen. Kelly Loeffler in Tuesday’s special election for an unexpired term for a U.S. Senate seat in Georgia. Warnock will become the first Black senator in Georgia history.

After losing the House, the Senate, and the White House, Donald Trump's political career is starting to look a lot like his business career
It's been wonderful watching Georgia turn blue. Stacey is worth her weight in gold and truly one of the smartest political people in America. he'll make an amazing Governor for Georgia and one day, I hope, President. She is the future Americans deserve.
I sure hope Moscow Mitch is in major turmoil knowing he's being dethroned once and for all.

Bluebullamerica, Ralph Warnock's acceptance speech was so touching. He'll be a wonderful US Senator. It's still too close to call for the other seat. I think if Georgia sends two Democrats to the Senate, it just makes it even, and Vice President Kamala Harris has the tie-breaking vote?

Gonna spend a lot of time thinking about this election cycle, but two things are clear already:
1. The GOP went all-in on Trumpism and got destroyed.
2. Black people — especially Black women — saved America again!

Maybe Skud watches NewsMax TV? I received a text 2 hours ago that reads: "NewsMax TV: NewsMax projects Democrat Jon Ossoff winner in GA race. Go to NewsMax.com or watch NewsMax TV via Dish 216". Hmmm... I thought the media didn't decide elections??? Here a "trump media" outlet is "deciding" that Ossoff won. LOL.

That is one of the questions today as we digest the glorious reality of Mitch McConnell now being the Minority Leader. After liberal, leftist, libtard, anti American, as we are often called, Democrats won the White House, won the Senate and maintained the House. By flipping a deep red state, one in the Heart of Dixie!
But the other question we should ask Skud is this... In addition to Graham, why did Cruz and Rubio too cave into their craven desires and kneel before the altar of Trump too?
For me the answer seems clear as to why Cruz and Rubio caved to trump - Pure Political Expediency and Thirst For Power. They made a political calculation that support of party and it's dear leader would best secure both for them. For them neither democracy or our republic is important to them except on the occasions when it serves their authoritarian political ambitions.
What I now look for is Poetic Justice for them both. Not likely to happen since 70+ million delusional trumpers agree with their cave.

We live in interesting times but at least we won't have the media proclaiming we hate the president 24/7. Only white clouds and butterflies now.
skud the "media" never proclaimed "we hate the president 23/7>" They just ran videos of or printed his speeches where every other word was a lie. What he said was checked and double checked. And he was found to have told 30,000 lies or misinformation, in addition to inciting violence and divisiveness toward his citizens.
And he's doing it again right now screaming to his mob about how unfair it is that he lost the election.
Trump will be a one term, impeached president whose incompetence resulted in the deaths of 350,000 Americans.
That's quite a legacy for a guy who sees himself as an invincible WINNER!
