TeaPublican Donald Trump doesn't rule out national registry data base for American Muslims

I checked on this story before publishing it because it seemed unbelievable that an American, let alone an American running for the highest office in the land, could utter such repugnant ideas. The video linked below actually documents Donald Trump saying, in his own words, that he would consider a national registry data base for American Muslims, and that idea could be carried out with "good management." 

The idea of American Muslims wearing IDs was brought up by a reporter from Yahoo News, but Trump did not strongly denounce that idea, as any American would. 

In a subsequent interview later in the day, an NBC reporter asked Trump to clarify his position on a data base registry for American Muslims. That's when Trump said a lot of things we don't like would have to be done -- including registering American Muslims.  Watch the video linked below to hear with your own ears what Trump said with his own mouth.



Said Trump, "We’re going to have to do things that we never did before….we’re going to have to do certain things that were frankly unthinkable a year ago."

Trump did NOT rule out a national data base registry for American Muslims, an idea that every American should reject in the strongest possible terms.

Donald Trump did NOT unequivocally say that registering religious groups is unAmerican and an atrocious totalitarian idea. He didn't swat the idea of a national registry away when asked about it; Trump explained he would implement it with "good management." Nor did Trump explain what consequences American Muslims would face should they refuse to comply with registering with the government.

Donald Trump is the leading candidate for the T-GOP nomination for the POTUS.

This is how it works for a lot of the extremists on the right:  When THEY want to fundamentally transform America and ignore the U.S. Constitution, that makes THEM patriots. And they want Donald Trump, who would truly "shred the Constitution" by closing down places of worship, to lead them in this real fundamental transformation.

To people who look up to authoritarian "Daddy" figures, this excites them and makes them feel powerful, even if it goes against everything America stands for.  If they don't speak out against Trump's unAmerican idea, that has to mean they approve it.

 Another Trump supporter, Harland Dorrinson, agreed. “Shutting down the mosques is a great idea, sure, but he shouldn’t do that if it’s going to divert resources from forcibly deporting eleven million immigrants,” he said. “I would be very sad to see that happen.” 

 But Tracy Klugian, a die-hard Trump volunteer who is working for his campaign in Iowa, called such criticism of her candidate “misguided.” “You don’t get to be a successful businessman like Donald Trump without being able to multitask,” she said.

That, of course, is a bald-faced lie on what President Obama said in CONTEXT. In the aftermath of the French terrorist attacks last Friday, many people were shocked to hear claims from law enforcement that Syrian passports had been found near the bodies of two of the suspected Paris attackers. The thought that terrorists could be blown up, and yet have their passports survive seemed implausible, at the very least. 

 Now we know that those passports were in fact complete fakes according to the Wall Street Journal.

Visit any of the far right news sites and Tea Party blogs and read that they are urging America to respond with barbarity and carnage after a heinous attack in Paris of barbarity and carnage. They urge western civilization to wipe out, destroy 1.6 billion Muslims. The sort of people who think like that want to lead this country and be in control of our very substantial military. Kill All The Muslims! (Vermin!) so say many of the Goopers, and that will solve the problem. It is no wonder that political mental midgets like Trump and Carson are their darlings.

These people, in response to being scared out of their minds, would have America become a fascist state. As soon as they smell their own fear, theyabandon all pretense of being Americans and valuing what America stands for. They are not patriots, even if they thump their chests and wave the American flag at every chance they get to one-up their fellow citizens in displays of patriotism. Thousands To Quit Mormon Church Over New Anti-Gay Decree

This is as bad as it gets. 

When will human beings understand that homosexuality is very much a part of being human? It always has been and always will be. It is a minority sexual orientation. It is not evil any more than having blue eyes or being left-handed is. But what the Church of the LDS has done is evil.

The tragedy of fundamental religions is that instead of accepting and understanding our humanity, they stigmatize, separate, and ultimately destroy the people and their families who are this minority. However, there are many, many religions that welcome and accept our gay brothers and sisters. It is only the unbending and, in my opinion, inhumane fundamentalists who don't.

I salute the Mormons who have pushed back against this horrible treatment of families and their children by the leaders of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.



Thousands To Quit Mormon Church Over New Anti-Gay Decree

 Thousands of Mormons are leaving their faith after the LDS Church last week attacked same-sex families, including their children.



The Mormon Church's decree last week that people in same-sex relationships are now apostates and their children cannot be baptized without literally denouncing and distancing themselves from their parents has had devastating effects on LGBTQ Mormons and their families. 

 First, there has been a spike in calls to suicide prevention groups, and the mother of a transgender teen says she's "aware of a couple of suicides that have happened." Kate Kendell, the well-respected executive director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, which is one of the nation's most-effective LGBT civil rights organizations, published an op-ed in the Washington Post on Tuesday, announcing she is leaving the Mormon Church. 

 Kendell blames the LDS Church's "gratuitously cruel and stigmatizing treatment of children" in its latest anti-LGBT move for pushing her "to disavow the church" of her childhood. "It is impossible for me to be a part of a religion that would attack its own members and punish them by denying their children involvement in the church. 

The move is as clever as it is draconian. Members seeking to live lives of integrity as openly LGBT people must not only leave the church, but take their children with them. It requires a particular streak of evil genius to manufacture such a 'Sophie’s choice.'"

"The Eisenhower program Trump was referring to, if not by name, was called "Operation Wetback." Implemented by President Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s, the program was frighteningly simple: round up undocumented immigrants and drop them off in Mexico by the busload. The more obscure the location, the better. Dozens of the operation's deportees died. The program was initiated by then-Attorney General Herbert Brownell Jr., who ordered his officers to shoot "wetbacks" trying to enter America. 

Ultimately, it wasn't even as successful as Trump claims: Some researchers consider the 1.5 million-deported figure to be highly exaggerated.

On the  minimum wage issue:


Neil Cavuto asked Donald Trump if he was sympathetic to workers around the country who were demanding that the federal wage floor be more than doubled. "I can't be, Neil," Trump responded. 

"The reason I can't be is we are a country that's being beaten on every front, economically, militarily. There is nothing we do now to win." 

Those lines are consistent with Trump's running stump speech on American demise, but then the front-runner took a curious turn. In explaining his aversion to a minimum wage hike, Trump asserted that "our wages are too high." Not many Americans would agree with the billionaire business mogul on that front.

Those numbers are quite similar to other polls in recent years. The parties positions appear to have sunk in with the public. By 49 to 33 percent, more people in a 2014 Washington Post-ABC News poll said Democrats are closer to their position than Republicans on “whether to raise the minimum wage.”


Trump hopes to be the next POTUS by supporting another "Operation Wet Back" and keeping the minimum wage lower than other advanced western countries, because workers in low-paying jobs are making too much money.

That'll win him the Hispanic vote and the working-class vote.  Riiiiiiight.  Because nothing says "class warfare" like a billionaire loud-mouth telling poor people they make too much money.

I fell for a FAKE news report on Marco Rubio. The story reported below IS NOT TRUE. I should have known that something as outrageous as this couldn't be true, but because of how the T-GOPers view rape victims who become pregnant, (some of their candidates believe rape victims who are impregnated should carry their pregnancies to term -- no abortion for any woman under any condition), it seemed plausible for someone like Rubio to make such an outrageous suggestion. I normally check out these things before posting, but I didn't do my job this time.  Sorry. I will do better in the future.

I still stand by my claim that most of the candidates running for the T-GOP nomination are radical and their ideas are kooky.

*  endless questions, investigations, expeditions, and God knows what on his birth certificate.

*  investigations on his religious affiliation assertions

*  and inquiries made about his sexual orientation

*  endless demands for his college records

*  investigations into his family, including the father he really never knew, in some “guilt by blood” accusations

That is just a short list and there is more that can be added.

Did Ben deal with any of this bullsh*t? Literally any of it? Of course not.

 After making the comment about Obama, Carson then went to list ALL the topics of scrutiny that Obama has been under for the last several years.

The guy just said that Obama has not been scrutinized as much as him but then listed many issues that Obama was or is still being investigated on by the media, which Carson never had to deal with. Then to top it all off, Carson started complaining that the Media has not investigated Obama enough.

It’s like he doesn’t even hear himself speaking anymore.

Watch Dr. Carson continue to say, no INSIST, he never said he was offered a scholarship to West Point, then watch the video below this one where CARSON SAYS WITH HIS OWN TONGUE AND MOUTH THAT HE WAS OFFERED A SCHOLARSHIP TO WEST POINT.  It's clear that Dr. Carson and his campaign staff don't listen to his statements that are documented on videos. But, like a little boy caught being naughty and saying things that aren't true, he blames the media for pointing them out.

How important is this West Point kerfluffle? Not very, I'd say.  As someone else pointed out, what he said about climate change, Darwin being influenced by Satan, and then saying the Jews couldn't save themselves because they didn't carry guns to shoot at the German army are much worse because they show a man who is not operating in a rational state of mind.  Maybe he once did when he excelled in his career, but he sure doesn't show any rationality now.

Nonreligious children are more generous

"Religious doctrines typically urge the faithful to treat others with compassion and to put the greater good before selfish interests. But when it comes to generosity, nonreligious kids seem to be more giving, according to a new study of 1170 children from around the world.

Children from religious homes—particularly Muslims—also showed a greater inclination to judge someone’s misdeeds as wrong and punish the perpetrators. The study, the first large-scale analysis of its kind, suggests that religion and moral behavior don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand for children. “Our findings support the notion that the secularization of moral discourse does not reduce human kindness. In fact it does just the opposite,” says Jean Decety, a developmental neuroscientist at the University of Chicago, in Illinois, and the study’s lead author.

 Past research has already called into doubt the common stereotype that religious people are more moral than their nonreligious brethren. In surveys, religious people report higher levels of charitable activity. But it’s not clear whether this is accurate or an exaggeration. It’s also unclear whether the altruistic spirit is mostly confined to other members of their religion. In actual tests of generosity, there are also mixed results.

One study found both religious and nonreligious people shared more money with a stranger after reading sentences containing religious words such as “spirit” and “God.” But people were also more generous after reading words associated with secular authorities such as “police.” Another study found that more religious people were just as likely as less religious people to bypass a stranger in distress."

As O’Reilly tried to defend Carson, Trump called the host gullible. Trump went on, “You know what’s amazing, Bill? He's trying to prove he did it, so he’ll have credibility. 

Who would want to prove this?” O’Reilly pulled out a version of the standard Republican youthful indiscretions excuse, and Trump said, “I never hit my mother over the head.”

"Gee, we went from oh-so-honest Ben Carson to hey-that-was-50-years-ago Ben Carson. Actually, it’s closer to 45, but who’s counting? While it’s true I don’t remember everyone I talked to 50 years ago, I’d like to think if I “wrote” a book about it, I’d get it nailed down pretty well, sift my memory, run through every personal paper I could scare up, and get it right. 

 As for Carson, he couldn’t just say that he considered going to West Point, like thousands of other young men. No, in his telling, he had to meet with Gen. Westmoreland. None of this sending letters to his Congressman or Senator like some kid with a dream for Dr. Destiny; he gets an on the spot offer directly from the General.

This is Kindly Dr. Ben Carson's wife, Lacena Rustin "Candy" Carson.

We've all seen the right wing blogs' slimey racist photoshopped images of Mr. and Mrs. Obama from before Barack Obama became president.

We've also read the nasty, racist comments about Mrs. Obama found on many of the right wing blogs, especially the type of blogs that now accuse Liberals of being "racist" because we quote the nonsensical statements Kindly Doc Carson makes almost daily. Quoting Kindly Doc Carson's own words from his own mouth is considered "hating" him, being "racist," and, of course, being "SCARED!" of him.

But I digress.  

I know very little about Mrs. Carson, except that she and Mr. Carson met at Yale where they both received fine educations, and that they have three fine sons. I wonder if the Rabids on the Right will insinuate that both Candy and Ben got into Yale only through Affirmative Action -- because that's what the wingnuts claimed about Mr. and Mrs. Obama's educational successes after being admitted to Columbia, Harvard and Princeton.  

I wonder.

And how soon before the Radical Rabids on the Right post racist photoshopped images of Candy looking like a gorilla or how soon before writing comments saying she picks fleas out of her tail while walking upright on her hind legs?

Never let it be said I don't look out for the first lady. As a matter of fact, there is a company crassly using her image to sell products for which she certainly didn't give permission. On her behalf, I have filed a breach of copyright suit.

After all, both Candy Carson and Michelle Obama have similar backgrounds, coming from poor families and attaining the American dream by hard work and receiving a top-shelf education. But I'm guessing the knuckle-dragging racist creeps at the above-cited blog that encouraged unending smears against Mrs. Obama will not do the same to Mrs. Carson. 

No one would ever call Mrs. Carson stunningly gorgeous or slender or any other adjective that describes conventional beauty, but that's not the point of this post. The point is that the Rabid Rottens on the Right who engaged in slandering and maligning Mrs. Obama's personal appearance have shown themselves to be of the lowest character and worse, lacking any self-awareness of their bigotry and disgusting cowardice.

Never forget that these types of racists wear their ignorance quite proudly, and they never understand that when they insult, demean, and slander Michelle Obama, it says more about their lack of humanity and their overabundance of stupidity than it says about the person they're trying to bring down with their malignant speech.

As Dr. Carson passes Donald Trump in the polls for the TGOP nomination for president, we are learning more and more about the kindly doc -- from his own mouth and from people who actually fact-check what he's been saying. 

Here's the latest on a lie Kindly Dr. Carson has been telling people for years:


Ben Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted, in a response to an inquiry from POLITICO, that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated: his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. 

The academy has occupied a central place in Carson’s tale for years. According to a story told in Carson’s book, “Gifted Hands,” the then-17 year old was introduced in 1969 to Gen. William Westmoreland, who had just ended his command of U.S. forces in Vietnam, and the two dined together. That meeting, according to Carson’s telling, was followed by a “full scholarship” to the military academy. 

West Point, however, has no record of Carson applying, much less being extended admission. “In 1969, those who would have completed the entire process would have received their acceptance letters from the Army Adjutant General,” said Theresa Brinkerhoff, a spokeswoman for the academy. She said West Point has no records that indicate Carson even began the application process. 

“If he chose to pursue (the application process) then we would have records indicating such,” she said. When presented with this evidence, Carson’s campaign conceded the story was false.  



The question is:  Why would a man who has been so successful in his profession keep lying about being accepted to West Point?  Is he pathological?  I don't know. But I do know that we need to be very skeptical about what Dr. Carson has been saying about himself and what he will say in the future.  Fact-checking is our best friend.


Now.  How long before the Carson supporters bellow at the top of their lungs that the Left is trying to DESTROY DR. CARSON!!? when in reality, a little bit of fact checking is showing that not only does Dr. Carson know doodley-squat about pyramids and the Founding Fathers, but he's been lying for years about winning a scholarship to West Point!

Just remember this, boys and girls, the next time your read some whacked-out Tea Bagger talk about Hitlery and BENGHAZI! LIES! BOSNIA! LIES! HILDABEAST! LIES!
