ANN COULTER SLAMS MICHELLE OBAMA IN NEW BOOK

UPDATE:

NBC BANS COULTER FOR LIFE; CUT FROM 'TODAY' SHOW OVER BOOK'S CLAIMS, NO MORE CABLEMon Jan 05 2009 17:50:57 ETThe nation's top selling conservative author has been banned from appearing on NBC, insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT. Banned for life! "We are just not going to have her on any more, it's over," a top network source explains.

The Coulter is up to her old tricks again.

She slams Michelle Obama in her new book by criticizing her and calling her "freakish" for dressing in the style of Jackie Kennedy. It never occurs to this woman that perhaps that style flatters Mrs. Obama's figure and is always in good taste. Coulter apparently needs to sully anyone who isn't a conservative, and so she's gone after a woman who has been nothing but gracious and elegant as she transitions into the role of First Lady.

The photo of Coulter in the Daily News shows a woman who can't come to terms with the fact that at 48 years old, she's now old enough to be a grandmother--not that there's anything wrong with that. Sarah Palin is a 44-year old granny, and the conservatives still think she's a hottie. [snicker] But Coulter's pathetic attempt to look coquettish in that pose with her scraggly bleach-blond hair and her flashing a bit of thigh at the grandmotherly age of 48, is, well, just sad.
There's nothing wrong with looking one's age and growing old gracefully. Many wonderful women have done it and done it with aplomb--some who come to mind are Audrey Hepburn, Helen Mirrin, Judith Dench, Toni Morrison, Naomi Chase.

The Coulter needs to look at her own appallingly bad taste in hair color and boring clothing [does she own anything other than that "little black dress?"] before she thinks of saying anything negative about Michelle Obama--or anyone.

I have a message for Coulter--a majority of Americans admire Michelle Obama and her husband.

So please, Coulter, do us a favor and crawl back into your green hole of jealousy and leave us happy people to celebrate. Your schtick is getting, um, old.

There is nothing you can say that will spoil the joy and sheer bliss for us on January 20th.

We are all so overwhelmed with relief and jubliation!

And as one commenter said "I have only four words for The Coulter: "First Lady Michelle Obama."
Yeah. Yeah. I know Coulter doesn't actually LOOK like that hideous photo, but it does represent what her catty, whacky writings makes her look like.

I've (unfortunately) heard some of what she has to say. To be honest we'd all be better off if she just shut up...

PS: Love the Bush countdown clock. I've got one on my computer, and I'm not even American :) 15 days...

Where can I get an Obama countdown clock?

I find Coulter to be laughable.

AdamS,

It puzzles me as to why cable news and other teevee stations have her on. I know she has to promote her scribblings and rants, but it's old hat now, and I believe most Americans are bored with her negativity and viciousness. She is not "cute" anymore.

But some celebs don't know when their time has passed, and like a has-been comedian remain on the stage after all the jokes have been told.

One doesn't have to be American to be excited about Obama becoming president or George Bush leaving office.

I have friends in Italy and France who have been counting the days as well.

dmarks,

Very funny. Obama hasn't done anything as president yet--you have to wait until Jan. 20 to begin to tear him down.

Bush had my support in the beginning of his presidency. No one I know personally wanted a count-down clock when he was first elected and after the 9/11 tragedy.

I've read so many posts by Republicans/conservatives where they say they're going to treat Obama just the way Democrats/liberals treated Bush, forgetting that Bush earned every bit of contempt that most people in the world have for him.

Someone started selling "Don't Blame Me I Voted For McCain" bumper stickers the day after the election.

".... forgetting that Bush earned every bit of contempt that most people in the world have for him."

That is just the one-sided partisan way, and those on the other side will similarly hate Obama.

AdamS: In Ann Coulter's favor, at least she does not believe fictions about anyone other than Al Queda blowing up the World Trade Center buildings. And show knows that the Bildeburgers, Trilateral Commission, and Council on Foreign Relations have as much to do with world affairs as the Dark Lords of the Sith do.

...."zionist machine" being another Nazi term for the "Jewish media control" conspiracy. So you are essentially attacking her for not hating Jews. Thank you for actually making Coulter seem like a sympathetic figure. And for presenting a link to a book about how the evil Jews ruin the world.

Compared to the antisemitic hate crowd, Coulter is an angel.

(By the way, as a lifelong conservative, Coulter does not meet the "neocon" definition)

Couple of things dmarks:

- You can get an Obama countdown clock for Vista sidebars, it's called 'Return of the Republic':
http://gallery.live.com/results.aspx?bt=1&pl=1&q=republic

- 'Zionist', I believe, does not specifically refer to Jews. You can be a Christian Zionist, and wasn't there also a Black Zionist movement? And I don't believe there is a 'Zionist conspiracy', but why wouldn't a few powerful people seek to acheive population control? They're only human, after all. 'Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely'.

- Is it entirely irrational to doubt the official story of 9/11? The thermate, eyewitness accounts of explosions, NORAD standing down, is it all insanity? Or do some people just not want to consider the painful possibility of government complicity or participation?

- Are you sure that the Bildeburg group has no influence on the world? The most powerful people in the world, government and corporate, don't meet to have a fireside chat about their families and share anecdotes. I don't see it happening. Also, the catering staff often deliberately share the list of who attends, despite threats not to do so, apparently because they are concerned about what they hear discussed.

"There exists in this country a plot to enslave every man, woman, and child. Before I leave this high and noble office I intend to expose this plot!" - President John F. Kennedy

Google Videos: Terrorstorm, Endgame, 911: Truth Rising.

Call me crazy if you want. And no, I do not subscribe to all of the views expressed in the above films, but I do admire, for example, those 1000 or so architects and engineers, such as Richard Gage, who have risked their careers trying to expose the 'truth' as they see it.

Do i know what happened on 9/11? No! But I do want to smash the myth that keeps the sheeple from questioning the government's own conspiracy theory: "Government loves us and would never do this to their own people." Once those psychological chains are broken, people can consider the events of 9/11 objectively.

Shaw, I apologise for vandalising your blog with such an off-topic comment.

But what of the Gnomes of Zurich and the Bavarian Illuminati?

AdamS said...

Is that real? The Gnomes of Zurich? lol never heard of that one.

I'm not sure about all the Illuminati stories. Anti-Semitism is disgusting, just thought I'd make that very clear. (But are the alleged members of Illuminati all Jews? I don't know to be honest)

If there is a 'plot to enslave', in the words of JFK, then it would not be by Jews, Christians or Muslims, but by whoever controls the upper crust of society, regardless of colour or creed.

You have, now, open calls for world government in the media. The NAU is coming along nicely, but who really wants it? The vast majority of people are opposed to the idea of a single currency and nation in N America. But Bush already signed away America's national soverignty.

Realising you are not actually in a democracy "by the people, for the people, of the people" is difficult, but it is the truth.

Re 9/11, I just read the slideshow available at ae911truth.org. It's long, over 500 slides, but contains indisputable evidence of controlled demolition including a rebuttal of the claims of Popular Mechanics.

Believe whatever you want. But let me add, nobody has yet countered the latest edition of the 'Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth' documents. I will be paying attention, waiting for the next instalment in the back-and-forth between them and the likes of Popular Mechanics.

The reality is that the controlled demolition hypothesis has substantial evidence in support of it, so no matter what you may wish to believe, I will stick to the facts. Stop following the mainstream line that 9/11 'truthers' are nutjobs, and leaving it at that, with no examining of the evidence.

You wish to ridicule me, but the truth is you refuse to face the possibility of government involvement in the attacks because it is too painful to do so. I know, been there done that.

Hmmmm.

Googled 'one world government' and am unable to find any 'open calls' for same in 'the media'.

Oh where could they be?

Is the 'one world government' crowd the same as the anti-water fluoridation crowd?

This may still be a 'theory', as it obviously hasn't happened yet, but surely you don't dispute the North American Union is real?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Union

Europe is already way too deep into the EU bureaucracy and regulation. There are open borders inside most of the EU states, the laws are written in Brussels, the European Central Bank regulates the entire Euro-zone economy.

But the US, Canada and Mexico are not that integrated yet. You can prevent the NAU, but not by denying it. It does exist. Sorry to tell you.

I don't think one world government is necessarily a bad thing; but with the bankers and politicians who currently run our world, it wouldn't be good.

Oh, and fluoridation in the water? That's not a conspiracy theory, it's science. I don't want medication/poison forced upon me, would you?

dmarks said...

I searched on the "America Deceived" book, and I found it supported and discussed alongside books by those who claim the Holocaust never happened. Too many of the same people buying into the same fake theories. If you "stick to the facts", you will laugh at the baseless claims.

Arthurstone: I think you are very correct in your statements and intent on this.

dmarks said...

ROFL at the idea of the flouride poison plot. I've also known about this fake conspiracy for decades.

AdamS said...

I never said fluoride was some kind of evil plot...just that I don't wanna drink it, because it is harmful. So I am against putting it in the water. It's that simple.

Fluoride is already in toothpaste, where people can benefit from its good effects on the teeth while not ingesting it and suffering its bad effects. Isn't that better than having it in the water?

I had never heard of 'America Deceived' until you pointed it out, so I can't say anything about that.

Dmarks, are you trying to suggest anyone who doubts the government conspiracy theory about 9/11 is a Jew-hater? Sounds a little bit smear-ish to me.

Mock if you want, but no matter how hard you wish, jet fuel fires can't melt steel and leave pools of it lying around after the collapse. Thermate can.

AdamS said...

Thought I'd better post a link to ae911 truth's evidence of molten metal according to many eyewitness accounts.

You can manually select slides. The evidence for molten metal can be found between slides 95-117.

Yawn.

More conspiracy theories.

From the WFM website:

'World federalists believe that international democracy requires the legal and institutional structures to underpin a responsive, accountable system of democratic global governance. In respecting the sovereignty and political integrity of states, WFM promotes the principle of international democracy by calling for rule of law and equal representation as well as transparency and accountability.'

I think they are in favor of fluoridation also.

AdamS said...

Well I don't like the World Federalists and I don't want a World Government. Do you?

They talk about 'world peace'. World Government will bring war when it is forced upon people.

MAD and nuclear weapons have already prevented world wars. We don't need a world gov to do this.

Worst of all, if some tyrant takes control of the government, which does and will happen, what are we going to do? No other governments exist to keep power in check.

Nothing I have said is a 'conspiracy theory', just reality. That seems to be the direction we are all headed. And I don't like it one bit.

And I'll repeat myself, I never said fluoride was a 'conspiracy'. I don't want someone else's toxic industrial waste in my water supply, thank you very much.

dmarks said...

Read here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluoridation

The "flouridated water is dangerous" idea is nothing other than a nutty conspiracy-theory.

If it is dangerous, then so is water in our water supply. People have drowned you know.

AdamS said...

Yes, let's ban water :) I would say the difference is that fluoride offers little benefit, and it can be delivered in other ways that are less harmful, such as toothpaste.

Many in the scientific community are indeed fluoridation supporters. There are plenty of professionals, however, who have voiced their concerns over the effects of fluoride:

http://www.fluoride-journal.com/98-31-2/312103.htm

Others have objected on ethical grounds:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12749628

I am very suspicious of people who want fluoride in the water, because fluoridated toothpaste offers the same 'benefits' without the bad effects. Water fluoridation isn't logical as a public health initiative.

Is it all part of a conspiracy to dumb us down and make us into 'sheeple', as it was in Nazi Germany? I think that would be a wild leap, even if it turned out to be true, because of course there is no proof.

A simpler explanation might be corruption: businesses encouraging politicians to let them dump their waste, which is hard to dispose of in other ways.

This is why I love alternative media and 'conspiracies' - the ideas range from rational to nuts, but at least they make you think outside the 'box' of the mainstream. It's all about striking a balance between 'open-mindedness' and 'paranoia'.

Conspiracy theorists have a habit of trying to explain their disagreement with the mainstream, by speculating about an alternative explanation. This is what gets them into trouble.

However, they do a good job of pointing out the often gaping logical flaws in so-called 'conventional wisdom'. Globalism and Fluoridation are good examples of this.
