Sunday Night Poetry

I wrote a series of poems for children.

Here's one of them:

Agouties

If you love agouties
and want to pick them up,
be careful of the cooties

in their booties!
They'll jump on your clothes.
No one knows
how they got those cooties!

Agouties are not beauties,
they have a funny snout
that curls like a fandootie,
especially when they pout.
Now you may ask, my cutie,
"What the heck is a fandootie?!"

Well.

It's the thing that an agouti
ties around his bootie
when he dresses to go out!

It may need a little polishing. (LOL?)

Poems ALWAYS need polishing.

I dig the bootie part.
