The Racist World of the Rightwing Bloggers
These folks are the first to whine about how the leftwingers always make everything about race.
Right.
Here's a sampling of the comments on a very conservative blog as the DC shootings were reported.
Remember, these folks accuse lefties of bringing race into everything:

THREE GUNMEN? Yes, THREE BLACK GUNMEN just in case anyone is curious. Washington Post reporting there are two shooters at D.C. Naval Base, one in fatigues Latest: One shooter described as 6 ft male, African American, bald with assault rifle. At least several confirmed injured, some fatally, including security personnel. Swat team now on premises but suspect still at large, believed holed up in room. President has been notified. Update: Shooter contained and wounded but not in custody; several killed, at least 10 wounded
So when they bring the shooter's race into the reporting, they're being...what? just providing information?
Did these same folks report that Adam Lanza, the Newtowne killer, was WHITE? That the Aurora, Colorado, killer was WHITE? That the Columbine killers were WHITE? That the Arizona killer was white? That the Fort Hood killer was WHITE? No. Of course not. They didn't discuss anything about the color of the killers' skins. But they did report on the fact that the killer involved in the DC shootings was BLACK, as soon as they found out. Why?
And why bring the race of the killer into this at all? Did they mention he was also from TEXAS? No! Just the fact that he was BLACK.
But...but...the leftwingers always make it about RACE?
Do these people ever do any self-reflection?
This has been another terrible day in America. A day that will be repeated again and again and again by white, black, and every other color. And that's what the American people have allowed the N.R.A. thugs to deliver to this country. Americans are willing to live with massacres like this one, like the one in Newtowne, like the one in Aurora, like the ones all over the country that we've had to endure and will endure in the future.
America, this is what you're willing to accept. Wholesale slaughter of our citizens by our own citizens. And for anyone reading this, let's hope the next victims are not your loved ones. Let's hope your children or grandchildren aren't slaughtered by some crazy loner with a grievance and an AR-15, let's hope your loved one isn't riddled with bullets by some unhappy person with a grudge at his place of employment. Just be aware that this is happening too often, and it can happen to you.
I don't care anymore.
I can't control what the N.R.A. and the crazy gun nuts do. All I can do is hope for the best and expect the worst.
So here we go again: Bury the dead and wait for the next carnage somewhere in our N.R.A distopia.

From what I saw, there were several black officers in the police swat teams, if we are interested in race. Regardless,
another killer had his weapon "pried from his cold dead hands".

He had an incident where he fired into the ceiling below a "noisy" upstairs neighbor.
Not the kind of thing a background check should flag.
The man does have a criminal record, has a semi-automatic rifle and goes right past the entrance of a secure facility.

Did the goopers notice that the killer was a TEXAN?!
And this is in addition to the anger by some conservatives that the new Miss America is a terrorist, non American...
And people wonder why it has been difficult for Barack Obama as President...
The tweets at the end of this article are particularly enlightening of the level of hate from one group of people towards another.
I am shocked, amazed, depressed and saddened after reading the article and seeing the level of race baiting with the latest shooting.

I was not surprised by that NYDN article on the new Miss America. Those blogs mentioned in my post host commenters who still call Mr. Obama a Kenyan Muslim. Yes. They are that stupid. It is no wonder the same sort of people would not know that a woman of Indian descent is not an Arab or a Muslim. Apparently, to those low-information folks, anyone with dark skin is an A-rab.
It's too bad stupidity doesn't hurt.

I pointed out to you that a simple search on my profile would have shown you that I started blogging in the last month of 2006--2 years and 1 1/2 months of GWB's presidency.

So the facts are coming out.
The shooter was mentally ill.
He had several recorded instances of gun violence.
He had disciplinary issues in the Reserves.
He was able to legally purchase a firearm and obtained a Secret clearance (so much for background checks).
He easily overpowered security (let's put armed guards in schools!)
He apparently retrieved on weapon from a safe on site. So much for secure storage.
Lot's of questions but let's focus on the fact that he's black.
Insane.

But he was FROM TEXAS!
And notice the usual con bloggers have Alexis's photo up on their blog but do a search and you'll see no photo of Adam Lanza--the WHITE Newtowne killer.
Why do you suppose they put up Alexis's photo but not the other mass killer's photo?? Hmmmmmm! I'm thinking; I'm thinking.

Think a little harder. Perhaps it's because Alexis is the Navy Yard killer, not Lanza.
So living a year in Texas trumps growing up and reaching adulthood in NY City... Yes, you definitely need to think some more.
Anonymous@4:56 is a typical con, doesn't know how to reason, shaw...doesn't understand what you've asked...the con blogs never posted a photo of the WHITE Newtowne killer; but they posted a photos of the BLACK Navy facility killer. It's a simple concept but the poor thing can't grasp it...it's a con...need we explain?
Life's a Hoot thinks we need to make up this stupidity to show how dumb they are...LaH can't believe that the cons are naturally that dumb...lol.
At least those sites you are picking on don't hide behind comment moderation.
Did the gunman really have an assault rifle? The most recent information seems to indicate that he did not.
