President Obama Addresses The Nation

A hero is someone who finds the strength to persevere and endure, despite idiot ex-mayors who say stupid things about him.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In his weekly radio address, President Barack Obama reaffirmed his love of country, telling the nation, “I love America—even its idiots.”*

Expanding on this theme, the President said, “America is made up of all kinds of people: young and old, weak and strong, smart and dumb. And when the really dumb ones get up and act like total clowns, I still love them, because they are part of America. In fact, a really big part.”

In a call for unity, the President concluded, “Let’s all work together for the United States of America. And if that means putting aside our differences—including our sometimes vast differences in intelligence—so be it.”

*And you know who you are.

A special shout-out to the Daddy bloggers out there!:

We love you!
We really do!
Despite what Nature's done to you.

I wouldn't stretch so far as to call Obama a hero. He definitely has integrity, but I have yet to identify him as a hero.

Oh, c'mon, RN. You have to know why this post is up. Didn't you get my email?

Les Carpenter said...

I know. :-) I'll check.

Nope. :-)

Didn't the guy who wrote this once leave comments on this message board?

I hope you get CANCER of the A**HOLE and DIE in MISERY in a Charity Ward, you filthy C**T.

And wasn't he the scold who was constantly reminding people here and in other places how coarse we've become?

The above is tame compared to the other rants he left at the Smut Hut. That place truly earns its name.

check your email, Shaw.

Anon@12:41, my grandmother once told me that you could learn a lot about a person's true character by listening to (or in this case, reading) what he or she says in anger.

That string of malicious cursing is worse than anything I've ever read, including in the dirtiest subway stations or gas station bathrooms.

What a shame.

Can you stand anymore? Just one more.

I hope you get GANG RAPED, SLASHED and left for DEAD in the darkest, dirtiest alley in town, you VICIOUS PIECE OF FILTH.

OMG! No more please or this blog will look like the Skank Tank.

We can continue off-line.

BTW, did the subject post any "Godly" sermons or poems today. After all Sunday humility and piety for those sorts erase all the grunge and malignity they practice during the week.

The worst of the posts were deleted.

Is it possible that the poster (I'm not convinced it was really, Freethinke) actually felt shame?

Ducky, I was over there when the posts were still up. I'm not convinced it was actually FreeThinke as well. But if I were a betting man playing the odds...

You mean Lisa would allow people to post under other bloggers' names?

Noooooooooooooo!

From what I was told and have seen, that really was Katherine Heartburn's heart throb.

Shame?

From that crowd? Ha!

Did he protest to Lisa that someone stole his name? Did he put up a disclaimer on Lisa's Skank Tank saying someone had stolen his name and avatar?

No to all of those. And Lisa didn't take them down. Apparently the "author" took them down.

For all of his self-admiration for his having high standards and good taste, he's shown himself to be no better than the pornographer Radical Red Neck and Rusty Shackleneck, who revel in racist labels and photo shopped images of African-Americans.

The old saying is absolutely true:

"qui cum canibus concumbunt cum pulicibus surgent."

What a shame.

Indeed Shaw!

Frankly, none of these off-the Richter-scale rants from FT surprise me. The signs and symptoms have been visible from the beginning, and the only thing that shocks me is why it took a long time for many of you to see the ugliness behind the veneer. The palpable racism, anti-Semitism, misogyny, and hatred of just about anyone who failed to feed his overarching ego … these have infused his commentary since the beginning; but none of you noticed.

What accounts for the sudden outbursts? When one bursts the bubble of his grandiosity, removes all pretense of culture and refinement, and strips away the last defense mechanisms, all that is left of the man is his rage – the essence of a dark and malicious character.

Jesus Horace Christ! That F.T. has the filthiest mouth I've read on the internet. And I've read a lot of filth there. What's he so angry about? Doesn't he know Jesus loves him?
