General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

Lindsey Graham: Oh God, We Might Have To Back Ted Cruz To Save Our Party
----------
No Lindsey, the party is pretty much toast.
Not even Sarah Palin can save you.
It's going to really get vulgar now. Look for more pee-pee jokes.
Pm Carpenter's analysis:
"The still-straitjacketed mob — essentially, the GOP base — is now Trump's burden. His many past remarks of lunatic flavors and his assuredly continuing alienation of all but the tribally demented will wreak an electoral devastation on the Republican Party not seen since Sen. Goldwater offered up his utterly futile Choice of the deranged mob's Echo Chamber.
A self-burdened Trump indeed, but a liberated Hillary Clinton. As one of her aides put it, "ultimately, he’s probably going to be one of the worst general-election candidates in history … and oh, yeah, he’s starting a civil war in his own party."
Rather, he has brought the preexisting civil war to a clashing eminence. To wit, in an astounding Chris Matthews interview last night with the spidery Tom DeLay, the former congressional ghoul suggested that his party could always steal the nomination away from Trump in a sweltering July bloodbath."

Jennifer Rubin, a CONSERVATIVE writer for the Washington Post:
Republicans: Get used to hearing Hillary Clinton
With Trump in his victory speech still prattling on about the wall, Clinton sets up a contrast that politicians can only dream of enjoying: Sanity vs. lunacy, reason vs. irrationality and decency vs. mendacity.
Clinton is no longer the candidate most likely to abuse power or threaten her adversaries. Most voters, Republicans especially, shiver when Trump observes, as he did Tuesday night of the speaker of the House: “I’m sure I’m going to get along with him, and if I don’t, he’s going to pay a big price.” No wonder Trump swoons over Vladimir Putin.
As Trump — the most divisive figure in American politics in my lifetime — declares, “I am a unifier. I would love to see the Republican Party and everybody get together and unify,” one can almost hear Clinton laughing — not the phony laugh that grates, but a deep and sincere belly laugh. Yes, she’s in all likelihood going to have the last laugh in this campaign.
Look everyone, Governor Olympics to the rescue
"Chief strategist for Republican Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign said he believed Democrat Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Trump."
"Personally, I think Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Donald Trump because I think that Donald Trump is a dangerous person and is someone who would embarrass America," Stevens said.
Meanwhile Rupert Murdoch is calling for everyone to rally around Drumpf.
Maybe Rupert will fund Drumpf's third party run if the RNC gets rough.
... and say goodbye to Ben. Count down to the book tour.
Popcorn, anyone?
Pulse 1/2 cup dried porcini mushrooms in a spice grinder until powdery. Add 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley and 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt; pulse again until powdery. Drizzle 6 tablespoons melted butter over 16 cups hot popcorn; toss with the porcini powder and 1 cup finely grated gruyere.
Enjoy.
Donnie has been successful in taking down several companies and it does seem he has set a larger target, the GOP.
Wonder if -H- will give him an appointment as a thanks.
What we have to do is make Trumpenfurher and his acolytes as unappealing to moderates and swing voters as possible.
Sure, his fan base will overlook or even approve of his racism, egomania, bullshit, alleged rape of Ivana, or potential to start WWIII; but sensible people who might vote Trump to toe the party line might object to those things, or at least object to being called StormTrumpers.
Countdown Ducky? He's been on it all along...
He officially dropped out today, Dave. Should be on the Sunday shows soon.
I still marvel at the RNC in such a panic over something they've been cultivating for
some time.
Can't wait for Mitt's speech. He's just the guy to make Trump voters change their mind.
"But this alliance now seems to be over. According to three Fox sources, Fox chief Roger Ailes has told people he's lost confidence in Rubio's ability to win. "We're finished with Rubio," Ailes recently told a Fox host. "We can't do the Rubio thing anymore." "

Pass the popcorn, please.
Here's John Oliver with the ultimate Trump take down.
Enjoy.
