On #45's Manic Outburst on Twitter Today

Sane people weigh in on his manic Tweets:

So, this is the guy the media thought was "presidential" on Tuesday. Trump will never change. The most divisive president in modern history. pic.twitter.com/4fP4ufDGCb
Trump's tweets suggest: 1.) he was personally under investigation for illegally colluding with a hostile power; 2.) he's seriously unstable.
Important takeaway: No matter what crazy shit our, sigh, president is screaming about, there’s no evidence of a phone tap in Trump Tower.
Our lives, the lives of our children are in this man's hands. This is now an existential fight. We must remove him from power before too late https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/837996746236182529
The other possibility is that Trump is flipping into an outright personality breakdown in full public view.
He's talking about a FISA warrant. Which was authorized by the FISC. Which is the legal process set up by Congress.

Go back to sleep, POTUS https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/837993273679560704
So basically Trump is confirming that a federal judge ruled there was enough evidence to proceed with "tapp" of Trump Tower.

Are there no consequences for a President acting like this?

As a candidate, he bragged of grabbing pussy's and as a President, he openly disparages and accuses a previous President, without evidence, of McCarthyite practices, illegal wire taps and essentially subverting the Constitution.

And the GOP stands quietly by, saying nothing as the norms of public discourse here in the US are completely, in the name of no more PC, trashed.

In less than 100 days, Donald Trump, with his untrue tweets, and staff that is unable to tell the truth, has laid waste to the Presidency.

I hope those that voted for him are happy with, and proud of their president.

Former policy adviser to ex-President Barack Obama called out Donald Trump on Twitter Saturday for lying about about Obama having Trump Towers wire-tapped.

Saturday morning Trump accused Obama of bugging Trump Tower before the election, tweeting, “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”

As President, Trump would likely be able to prove that he predecessor had ordered warrantless wiretaps, and the newly-elected Trump could back up his statements. However, as former Obama foreign policy advisor Ben Rhodes noted, presidents, sitting or otherwise, don’t have the legal authority to do any such thing.

“No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you,” Rhodes tweeted back at Trump.

He then called Trump “a liar.”

And this:

Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for Obama issued a statement of Saturday reading: “A cardinal rule of the Obama Administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”

But Mark Levin said it happened and it was covered on Breitbart.

... but here's how it's going to go down, shaw.

The House will call for hearings on the wiretaps in an attempt to deflect from the issue of Russian influence inside the Happy Hands administration. You saw how long they were able to keep Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi alive.

Meanwhile, under cover of this fake story they will continue with their plans for revoking health insurance and further tax cuts for the wealthy (although I don't know how they can get them much lower).

We need the legitimate media to step up and do real investigative reporting. Have to hope.

Dave, I believe that deep, deep down inside, the people who voted for Trump know what a complete disaster he is and how unstable and unfit he is.

Four days after pundits and news people fell over themselves praising Trump because he read from a teleprompter without inserting his usual brand of koo-koo bananas.

Today we see, again, the real Trump. He accused the past president of subverting the Constitution and then went on to Tweet about a teevee show that he once acted in!

This is NOT normal. This is not SANE presidential behavior!

Do not let the crazies on the right get away with making Americans think the Maniac in the White House/Mar-a-Lago is sane or normal. He is an aberration. A dangerous fool. And so are those who continue to support Trump.

Kevin, the most terrifying Tweet I read was from Nicholas Kristof:

Trump's tweets suggest: 1.) he was personally under investigation for illegally colluding with a hostile power; 2.) he's seriously unstable.

I'm guessing it's a combination of the two.

So Obama Wire Tapped Trump Tower... Obama was never someone who would let the Constitution get in the way. The wire tap was completely illegal. This is far worse than what Nixon did. The Nazis and Russians would be impressed b his scheming and skull duggery! And then to talk about “HIS” affairs with the Russians? What Gaul!
That was an EXTREME Abuse of his office and is actually a FELONY, and is A Seditious Violation of his Oath of Office to Defend The Constitution and Our Individual Liberties.
Obama is about to find out how little power he actually has as an ex president!
He now is the first ex president to commit an act of treason by attempting to undermine a duly elected sitting president. Not surprising at all. Go Get em Sessions!!!!!

Unknown, in addition is uneducated and unable to separate fact from fiction.

You, like the Maniac in the White House/Mar-a-Lago, offer no evidence for any of Trump's wild accusation.

No president can wire-tap anyone. That's first. Second if Trump were being listened to, the permission for that would have been given by a federal judge, with probable cause -- for your edification, that means there would have been evidence presented to the judge that Trump was engaged in something illegal.

I let your ignorant comment through to show how easily Trump supporters swallow any crap he tweets out. You're lazy, dumb, and a disgrace, and the reason the dangerous fool is in the White House.

This is for the "Unknown" critter who came to your blog Shaw and showed everyone his stupidity:

What Trump did is a pathetic attempt to move the focus of the discussion away from where it should be, on Trump and his campaign's collusion with the Russians to help swing the election to Trump. Think what you may about Obama, and the job he did as president, (and I think he was great) his reputation is sterling and won't be tarnished by the small and insecure man that Trump is. That he tweeted this once again from Mar-a-Lago, knowing that millions of our tax dollars are being wasted, shouldn' be lost on anyone.

Except may the escapee from the insane asylum known as WYD.

shaw, this was #March4Trump day across the country.

Evidently there were rallies in most major cities attended by dozens showing their support as Lord Dampnut fights his way through these scurrilous accusations.

No #March4Trump in Boston, shaw.

I would make allowances for the cold weather except the demonstration to keep Planned Parenthood funded drew a pretty good crowd.

Bloomberg:

Neither Breitbart News nor Levin cited independent reporting to back up the assertions. The White House declined to answer questions about whether Trump had been given an intelligence briefing on this, or how he intends to handle his concerns. Communications were restricted until the White House counsel reviewed the matter and decided whether to release a statement.

A lot of the far right bloggers are hoping this story is true and that the Trump administration catches President Obama in the conspiracy and prosecutes him, but they also think Mr. Obama will ultimately get away with this heinous crime committed against Trump.

Yup. That's what they're thinking.

I really feel sorry for them. They are so child-like -- no infantile -- in their ridiculous beliefs in conspiracy nonsense.

Trump made an utter fool of himself. Again. Today.

Trump's maniacal id will continue to destroy his own credibility to the point he is either impeached, or he and our nation alike become irrelevant in the world of politics.

People like Russia and China will be singing with joy as they capture the lead of the world's economy and, although they have decades to go to overcome the massive military the U.S. has built, Trump's inattention to the effectiveness of that military will return us to the years of Vietnam incompetence; his very first military endeavor as President is already in the history books as an utter failure should give us a clue as to his inability in this arena.

The moment he began speaking after his inauguration, I began thinking; "what man or woman in the military would obey this buffoons orders?"

Apparently, at least for the moment, there are some, but that will wain and what invariably follows an autocratic, tyrannical ruler, is a coup from within the disgruntled military ranks.

He's already alienated every intelligence agency we have and it won't be long util he does the same with our military. Hell; he's already blamed his first fiasco in Yemen on "them"

"This was a mission that was started before I got here. This was something they wanted to do,” Trump said. “They came to me, they explained what they wanted to do ― the generals ― who are very respected, my generals are the most respected that we’ve had in many decades, I believe. And they lost Ryan.”

http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/2/28/14766918/trump-blame-military-yemen-seal-botched-raid-pentagon-fox

I just wonder how long it's going to be before "they" grow tired of being a moronic coward's whipping post

Bob, Americans have never seen a US president behave so erratically and so maniacally. Knowing he controls the military gives us all many sleepless nights. Trump showed his profound ignorance when he tweeted out that hot mess of anger yesterday. It give me and many other no comfort to know such an unstable idiot is America's CiC.

Ducky, there was a very small crowd of Trump supporters at the State House yesterday. But the rally to support Planned Parenthood at the Common was many times larger. I even saw a sign at the Common rally saying "Thanks Charlie."

Not all Republicans are crazy.

Craig, LOL! I wouldn't be surprised.

"He's developed a whole new psychosis

He actually went from "Obama Tapped My Phones! Watergate! Watergate!" to "Arnold stinks" in less than an hour. It's like his brain is one of those weird long-haired hamsters running pell-mell around and around on a wheel inside his head.

This guy is gets his "intel" from Breitbart and Infowars and there's no adult in the room to stop him.

And he has the launch codes."

Sean Spicer said the WH won't be answering any more questions about wire tapping???? A grown ass president throwing a hand grenade out full of fabrication and false accusations without naming any "source" or concrete proof (which he just complained about last week for people doing in the news..btw) and NOW your staff wants to drop the subject?????
What kind of paranoid, hallucinating, type of psychotic idiot is this?
Oh...right...our Republican, minority, president.

Jerry Critter said...

The WH may not want to answer, but the Press should keep asking the questions! It their job.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Jerry,

Have we EVER seen such chaos and insanity in any new administration?

How many people warned America that Trump was temperamentally unfit for the presidency?

He's also ignorant of how our government works.

He truly is a National Embarrassment and Disaster.

Donald Trump asserted Obama wiretapped him, therefore it is a FACT. As per the WND headline by Joseph Farah "Was Obama's Tap of Trump Legal, American"? According to Mustache Man, "Donald Trump blew the whistle on the eavesdropping of his 2016 campaign headquarters by Barack Obama's administration". Note that he's asking if Obama broke the law in wiretapping Trump, and NOT if the wiretapping even occurred (his conclusion is yes, Obama broke the law).

Farah: "The emphasis of all of these fake news reports is disingenuous to say the least. Obama didn't deny his administration wiretapped Trump. He said no one at the White House did. That is a virtual admission that his administration did, probably Justice Department... Obama or Lynch could well be prosecuted by the Trump administration. And one or both probably should be. Misuse of FISA statutes is a clear violation of the law".
