America is Proud of Boston

UPDATE:

Boston Police: "We had 40K standing tall against bigotry & hatred in our city & that's a good feeling"

Fox News (Fake News): It was violent  FAUX NOOZ LIES.

Out of 40,000 people, 33 arrested. And the hooligans who disrespected the police were probably outside agitators who came to make Boston look bad. They didn't succeed.

Boston made Massachusetts and America proud:

"A total of 33 arrests were made Saturday, mostly from disorderly conduct and a few assaults on police officers, the Boston Police Department announced. Police Commissioner William Evans said at a news conference this afternoon that some urine-filled bottles were thrown at officers, and police indicated on Twitter that some demonstrators were throwing rocks at police.

But for the most part, Evans said, the day of direct action went off smoothly as police planned, with very little injury and property damage.

"Overall I thought we got the First Amendment people in, we got them out, no one got hurt, no one got killed," he said.

Police did stop three people with ballistic vests and a gun, Evans said, "but we were lucky to get those three out of here and confiscate the vests." Evans said roughly 40,000 people descended on Boston Saturday, "standing tall against hatred and bigotry in our city, and that's a good feeling."

He added that he wished the "trouble makers stayed away," who he said weren't there for either the free speech side or the counterprotesters' side, but "were here just to cause problems."

Evans said that "99.9 percent of the people here were for the right reasons -- that's to fight bigotry and hate."

What happened in Boston today was a peaceful demonstration AGAINST Trump, the alt-right and the Nazis he sympathizes with. No anti-police agitators were there.*

*According to Boston Police Commissioner, Bill Evans, the anti-police agitators were probably outside goons who came to make trouble.

Trump is a known liar. His tweet below is just another one of his many lies that promotes his banality of evil.

"What he said was always the same, expressed in the same words. The longer one listened to him, the more obvious it became that his inability to speak was closely connected with an inability to think, namely, to think from the standpoint of somebody else. No communication was possible with him... because he was surrounded by the most reliable of all safeguards against the words and the presence of others, and hence against reality as such. "
-- Hannah Arendt on Eichmann, The Banality of Evil

Trump tried to stir up division among the American people once again because 20,000  40,000 people came out in Boston to counter his messages of hate.

Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you.

Network news are saying more like 40,000! Way to go Boston! They also mentioned tRumps tweet and that the mayor of Boston then went on to say that 99.9 percent of those protesting were peaceful.

Possumlady, trump is a small minded little punk. He's diminished the office of the American presidency to where it's just about disappeared and all that's left is a petulant brat in a nicely furnished Oval Office.

You can always tell when the alt-right Nazi sympathizing righties know they've lost the narrative. They flood their blogs with Butt-hurt whining

Boston was magnificent on Saturday. Police estimate 40,000 marched! Our great police commish, Bill Evans, said that 99.98% of the marchers were peaceful and respectful. The ones that acted like jerks toward the police were obviously rabid alt-right goons who failed to make the city of Boston look bad with there stupid stunts -- throwing urine at police.

People all over the country and the world are praising Boston for iour peaceful and patriotic demonstration. The creeps on the rabid alt-right can all go to hell and take their Nazi slime with them.

Bravo Boston! Well done!!!!!!

Boston has always been a great city. Now we know it a great WORLD city. Thanks for showing the rest of the country how to shut down garbage marchers for Nazis.

It was a grand day, except for the right-wing agitators! Proud of Boston!

Anon, Ray, and L.W.C.o.B.,

A small "free speech" rally scheduled for Boston Common yesterday by men wearing Trump hats and flags drowned in a sea of as many as 40,000 peaceful counterprotesters:

As the crowd grew, Superintendent in Chief Willie Gross of the Boston Police Department worked the crowd. He thanked marcher after marcher, individually, for coming out to make their voices heard. He complimented people on their creative signs. He took dozens of pictures with marchers who looked relieved to discover that the police weren’t there to give them a hard time.

“This is how we do it in Boston,” he said. “We exercise our right to free speech, but we do it peacefully. If anyone starts anything [at the Common] we’ll get them right out.”

"This is how we do it in Boston."

The rabid pro-Nazis on the right can publish all the fake news about outside agitators they want. The facts are there and they've been put out there by Boston's Police Commissioner, Bill Evans, and Superintendent in Chief, Willie Gross.

Right wing bloggers will try to lie about what went down in Boston yesterday. They won't win. Essentially they're losers who support a Nazi-sympathizing president -- the absolute embodiment of a loser.

SAD!

A friend sent this to me.

This will be Trump's and his supporters' legacies for the rest of this rotten presidency.

Just for the record, Shaw, The Guardian reported that there were a couple bottles thrown and they came from the Emerson dorm across from Park Street.
The one arrest for a concealed firearm was a Trumpista. Considering the tone of the times you have to give kudos to the marchers and Commissioner Evans. No serious injuries and really only one scuffle of note.

Ducky, 33 arrests out of 40,000 marchers. And the thugs who threw bottles of urine at the police will be dealt with, I'm sure.

The goons on certain rabid far right blogs try to present what happened yesterday in Boston in the worst possible light. We need to stress that no one was killed in the march in Boston and the police, the mayor and the governor were very pleased with how the vast majority of Bostonians conducted themselves.

BTW, I've had my comment moderation spammed by people pasting remarks calling me a "c**t." Actually I know who it is because his name is on the spam.

That's exactly how a prissy little coward would react to these events because he's a massively insecure little toddler-man whose arse is on fire with shame and rage, and he doesn't know how to soothe himself. I'd suggest that instead of calling women *c**ts", which does nothing to palliate his sore red arse, that he invest in several gallons of blueberry yogurt and sit in that for a day or so until his fragile ego recovers from the massive insult he and his Nazi friends suffered on Saturday.

Shaw - what do you have against blueberry yogurt? Grins.

Epsom salts and arnica do wonders for sore muscles, even on ones bum.

I can't march anymore but I can ride the high in your descriptions. Thank you so much.

Dear Grey One talks sass, if my answer made you grin, then I won the day.

We "Grey Ones" can talk sass with the best of them!
