I LOVE THIS!

How sweet!

Let this sink in a little

In other news:

This is the Goopers' preznit.  In his own words. This is an actual quote. Really.

A Trump toast in South Korea:

"Together, our nations remind the world of the boundless potential of societies that choose freedom over tyranny, and who set the free. And we will free, and we will sacrifice, and we will hope, and we will make things beautiful, especially the aspirations of your people."

Fairly diverse slate of candidates elected.
Great graphic.

The marches are paying off.

It's getting so hard to be a Republican that even John Cornyn is talking about the need for improved data for background checks.

The Republicans are showing they are the party of getting nothing done. They haven't been able to replace obamacare in spite of it being a disaster. How many of 50% in VA who wanted to keep it are on it?
They seem to be unable to pass tax reform in spite of it helping the middle class. The Republicans need to get in line like the madam pelosi democrats and just vote for it even if you have no idea what is in it.

The reason the GOP can't replace Obamacare is because they have no desire to do so. They just philosophically do not believe that is a function of the federal government. But they can't just say that because they led America down a rat hole with their repeal and replace mantra. Then when it came time to deliver, they had nothing, they were exposed as emperors with no clothes.

The fix for Obamacare isn't repeal and replace, its shore it up, make it work for the masses. It can be done if people are serious about helping Americans have good health care/insurance options. The Dems will work to fix it if doing so will get more people covered, thus leading to a healthier America.

As for middle class tax reform, if we get the GOP plan that is out there now, my taxes will go up about $1000.00 a year. I seem to be in the lower middle class bubble that gets to pay for people who make a ton of $$$ to get more in their wallet. Do you, or any other conservative, think those folks putting that money in a 401K will move the economy more than my family buying bread, milk and eggs with that $1000.00?

It's a very dubious, but well worn claim, along with tax cuts will pay for themselves.

All during the Obama Admin the GOP opposed adding to the deficit because it was fiscally irresponsible. So they said. Now that they are in charge, apparently, that is not the case.

The problem for the GOP is that their rhetoric on display during the Obama Admin got their people all fired up, but they've found they can't deliver. Because they were lying to, or at best, misleading the American people.

Yeah, let us know how that works out next November.

what has been widely overlooked is that residents of well-to-do suburbs in red and blue states across the nation — including here, just north of Atlanta — could find themselves in a similar tax squeeze. This threatens to further complicate efforts to pass a tax plan that many Republican officials view as essential after a year of legislative struggles. Both the House version, which passed out of a critical committee Thursday, and the Senate version, released Thursday, target this group of upper-middle-class Americans to raise revenue to offset other tax cuts.

Don't worry, tho. The upper 1% are still making out like bandits.
