General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

The Liar-in-Chief called the shooting a "mental health problem." But he's already forgotten that he lifted the Obama ban on selling guns to MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE!'

None of the usual rabid right wing blogs are even mentioning the shooting massacre in Texas because it didn't involve a "Moslem." Since it was a white southern kid killing people in a church, it's NBD! Hypocrites!

The right seems split in their message.

Some blogs want to call him an "antifa atheist"(whatever that is) who was a soldier in the war against Christianity.
Never mind that police released a statement that Kelly had recently had a falling out with a relative who is member of the congregation.

Maybe more insidious is the call for parishioners to arm themselves or hire security guards. By ramping up the gun culture we'll limit the casualties by their calculations.
That's their idea of normal. You have to attend worship strapped.

Not much talk about President Moron and his making it easier for the mentally ill to obtain weapons.
But it's not the time to talk about American gun culture. It's never time to talk about it.

Massachusetts becomes first state to ban bump stocks

Thank you sane people of Massachusetts and our enlightened Republican Governor, Charlie Baker. Not all Republicans are insane, and Charlie Baker proves it.

(CNN)Massachusetts is the first state to ban the gun accessories used by the Las Vegas shooter last month to increase his rate of fire.

Bump stocks became a major source of discussion among lawmakers across the country after the attachments were found on the guns of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, who killed 58 and injured some 500 last month. But talk of banning the devices nationwide appears to have stalled.
Beginning in 2018, penalties for the possession or use of a bump stock or trigger crank in Massachusetts will range from probation to life in prison, Representative David Linsky, a Democrat who proposed the amendment, told CNN.

Kelly was court martialed a few years ago for domestic violence and given a bad conduct discharge.
This makes him ineligible by Federal law to purchase or own firearms yet he purchased his AR-15 this year.
Apparently the background check was a bit cursory.

Maybe Lord Dampnut will come out strongly for thorough background checks.

Gun Violence is not about mental illness.

Gun Violence is about GUNS.
