Susan B Glasser/Politico:
Donald Trump’s Year of Living Dangerously
"By the time the dinner was over, the leaders were in shock, and not just over the idle talk of armed conflict. No matter how prepared they were, eight months into an American presidency like no other, this was somehow not what they expected. A former senior U.S. official with whom I spoke was briefed by ministers from three of the four countries that attended the dinner. “Without fail, they just had wide eyes about the entire engagement,” the former official told me. Even if few took his martial bluster about Venezuela seriously, Trump struck them as uninformed about their issues and dangerously unpredictable, asking them to expend political capital on behalf of a U.S. that no longer seemed a reliable partner. 'The word they all used was: ‘This guy is insane.’”

Daily Kos:
"No, it’s not worse than I think, because I always thought he was horribly unqualified, impulsive, grandiose and narcissistic. And I had no illusions about the ’grown-ups’ fixing things."

Exactly what would you have wanted him to say in response?
No one says any another what Kim aim said!
If JFK had said the exact same thing, his Quote would have gone down in History

So "Sam" or "Maharish" can you stick to one ID or shall I delete because you're trolling and not interested in a discussion?
A lot of Trump's supporters are also insane, I think. Not to the same degree as Trump, but there's got to be something wrong with a person who thinks Trump is doing a fantastic job. Or supports him only because he pisses off the Left. And thinks ALL dissent from the right is from RINOs (I'm thinking of a comment I saw on WYD from someone who is happy that the "RINOs" are being purged).
BTW, point out a clearly broken campaign Trump promise and they'll make excuses or even praise him (Rusty's praising of Trump for reversing himself re his past statements about Afghanistan. Which were that a president Trump would get us out).
The Mother Ship actually believes Trump threatening nuclear powers is a GOOD thing. Read this astounding mishmash of moronic analysis and admiration for a bully to understand why Trump holds onto his base. They are as stupid and crazy as he is:
HALEY THREATENS PRETTY DRAMATICALLY…SHE THREATENS NOKO, SHE THREATENS THE MULLAHS IN IRAN…..SHE’S THREATENING PAKISTAN…….and it occurs to me that her toughness is what is hated by THE LEFT here.
IS IT BECAUSE THEY’RE AFRAID TO PUSH TO THE POINT OF WAR? WOULD THEY RUN FOR FIGURATIVE AND LITERAL COVER WERE WE ACTUALLY THREATENED? AND WHAT PART OF WHAT KIM JUNG UN’S DONE SHOULDN’T BE CALLED ‘THREATENING’? WILL IT TAKE LOSING NEW YORK CITY BEFORE THE LEFT SAYS ‘OK, HIT THEM BACK?’
THOUGHTS? Is it mostly FEAR that prevents the Left from applauding Haley?
Obama’s diplomacy has made America less safer since he had taken office. Now our President needs to deal with these foreign, domestic issues and more. Think he is doing a great job in my opinion.
PS... none of the 2 ID's above is mine
If you'd bother to click on the name of the other "Sam", and on mine, you would see the difference.
This is what happens when a reality-TV star with mental problems gets put in charge of running a superpower.
At least a lot of his cabinet is aware of how bad things are.
Mueller's final report can't come soon enough. Whether this gets resolved through the 25th Amendment or through impeachment, we can't have another three years of it.
Infidel753: It's only January 3, and I already have Trump fatigue. As do all sane people.
"I read this blog..." We all know about the people on the Mother Ship, and I've said many times already that they are all irredeemable and not worth worrying about. They've live in a bubble and actually believe that Trump is a good president and is mentally fit. There's not much anyone can do to help people that far gone. Most of them are Evangelical Christians who have accepted an insane, morally corrupt con man as their leader.
"Uncle Same and Sam," you both are using he same avatar. With millions of avatars to choose on the internet, it is curious you both chose the same on.
Dervish Imagine a life so bereft of any joy or satisfaction that the only way they get their jollies is seeing liberals upset by an insane, pathological lying con man. Go figure.
Shaw: Most of them are Evangelical Christians...
Rusty: Who the hell is this Jesus guy you keep talking about....is that some Mexican guy
Apparently not only is Rusty not a Christian, he's never even heard of the religion. Trump, at least, has heard of Christianity. Or he did after an advisor told him that was the group he needed to pander to.
