TRUMP AND BANNON ARE AT EACH OTHER'S THROATS

via CNBC:

Steve Bannon says he's certain that Trump met with Russians who were at Trump Tower in 2016

Steve Bannon said there's "zero" chance that Donald Trump Jr. didn't bring the attendees of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting to see his father, according to NBC.

"The chance that Don Jr. did not walk these Jumos up to his father's office of the 26th floor is zero," Bannon told Michael Wolff in an interview for Wolff's new book.

Bannon also said the meeting was "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."

In a statement, President Trump says Bannon "lost his mind."

There isn't enough popcorn in the world to last through this cinematic blood-bath between these two warring cetrioli (jadrools).

"The meeting was revealed by the New York Times in July last year, prompting Trump Jr to say no consequential material was produced. Soon after, Wolff writes, Bannon remarked mockingly: “The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers.

They didn’t have any lawyers. “Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.” Bannon went on, Wolff writes, to say that if any such meeting had to take place, it should have been set up “in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people”. Any information, he said, could then be “dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication”. Bannon added: “You never see it, you never know it, because you don’t need to … But that’s the brain trust that they had.”

Trump slams Bannon: ‘When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind’ 1:54

President Trump used to have kind words for his former chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, but things changed with his scathing statement on Jan. 3.

President Trump unleashed on his former chief strategist and campaign manager Wednesday, issuing a long and unusual statement questioning Stephen K. Bannon’s mental stability, honesty and political influence. “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency,”

The statement from Trump came after Bannon has criticized Trump and his family in recent interviews — mocking the president’s intellect, criticizing the operations of the White House and torching Donald Trump Jr. and the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner.

His most recent comments, published online Wednesday in excerpts from a book by journalist Michael Wolff, came two weeks after a Bannon profile in Vanity Fair that infuriated the president and his senior aides.  --WaPo

"Bannon has criticised Trump’s decision to fire Comey. In Wolff’s book, obtained by the Guardian ahead of publication from a bookseller in New England, he suggests White House hopes for a quick end to the Mueller investigation are gravely misplaced.

“You realise where this is going,” he is quoted as saying. “This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew] Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to fucking Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner … It’s as plain as a hair on your face.”

Last month it was reported that federal prosecutors had subpoenaed records from Deutsche Bank, the German financial institution that has lent hundreds of millions of dollars to the Kushner property empire. Bannon continues: “It goes through Deutsche Bank and all the Kushner shit. The Kushner shit is greasy. They’re going to go right through that. They’re going to roll those two guys up and say play me or trade me.”

"Bannon, who became chief executive of Trump’s team in mid-August, called it “the broke-dick campaign.” Almost immediately, he saw that it was hampered by an even deeper structural flaw: The candidate who billed himself as a billionaire — ten times over — refused to invest his own money in it. Bannon told Kushner that, after the first debate in September, they would need another $50 million to cover them until Election Day."

Few people who knew Trump had illusions about him. That was his appeal: He was what he was. Twinkle in his eye, larceny in his soul. Everybody in his rich-guy social circle knew about his wide-ranging ignorance. Early in the campaign, Sam Nunberg was sent to explain the Constitution to the candidate. “I got as far as the Fourth Amendment,” Nunberg recalled, “before his finger is pulling down on his lip and his eyes are rolling back in his head.”

This is the scoundrel the religious right is in love with. LOL!

Drudge stepped in on tRump's side and called Bannon a schizophrenic.

This is an absolute sideshow while Lord Dampnut plays Button, button whose got the bigger button with NK.
I think it's clear that tRump is the going concern.

Looking toward Bannon's book. Hope it makes the rounds on the mothership.

The only thing anyone needs to grasp the decline of America in the present can be seen on television and read on weblogs across the land.

Sad indeed.

Pass the popcorn... this gets interesting now...

Duck... I doubt the Mothership will take Bannon seriously. He'll be named a deep state liar in no time...

As Trump's attorneys seek a cease and desist order to stop Bannon from making disparaging remarks.

Oh the irony.

RN, I heardf a lawyer last night claim that since Bannon was working for the government when he was the strategic advisor for Trump that means he was working for the goverment and was answerable to the taxpayers. Anything that went on between Trump and him is public and Trump can't stop, or desist, Bannon from writing a book or telling the public what's been going on.

More popcorn please!

This is getting very interesting. A con and a conspiracy nut on the national stage.

So when a narcissistic blowhard gets into a tiff with a drunken egomaniac who do you believe will win.
If nothing else it is different to have a president who wants to lead from the front. Leading from behind caused ISIS to thrive, Syria to explode, the Islamic Brotherhood to rule. The gift of billions and nuclear capabilities to a regime who still holds an American captive. He did all this while the economy froze, attacked the middle class and small business, spent a trillion dollars to create zero jobs but purchase a large supply of crappy cars, rewarded the mega rich and increased the number of Americans on public assistance while blaming the other side. Accomplishing all of this in only eight years and only tripling the deficit is impressive.

Skud, ragging on the Obama Administration is one of your chronic conditions. If you haven't got anything to add to the discussion except your whines about the last president, please don't bother to comment. Trump's been in office now for almost a year and he inherited a booming stock market and a stable economy, despite what you say. Mr. Obama took a tanking economy and despite the Republcans who gave him no help whatsoever, he managed to do very, very well. You seem not to have any perspective on the two very different administrations and what they inherited. BTW, the rest of the country and the world do not agree with you. Mr. Obama is widely respected and loved, unlike the overfed marcissist we now have to tolerate in the people's White House.
