Read the report below and it will sound sadly familiar. Why? Because what the murderous militiamen say in the report is exactly the tone and language used on certain far right blogs (you know which ones I mean) when they speak about Muslims. The only word in this report that the militiamen don't use is "vermin," but "cockroaches" has the same meaning.
This is exactly the kind of tone and language used in 1930s Germany referring to the Jews, and it's being used by Americans -- or rather people who claim to be Americans but in fact betray every ideal this country stands for.
When Americans start referring to fellow Americans -- American Muislims -- as "vermin" and "cockroaches," that dehumanizes an entire religion and culture so that exterminating them is not seen as evil, but a necessary cleansing, even if that cleansing means slaughtering one-year old babies -- just read the history of what the Nazis did to the Jews to understand how that works.
The people who run the blogs that tolerate this dehumanization of Americans are worse than the Germans who participated in the Holocaust because those bloggers know the history of what happens when ignorant hateful people demonize whole cultures and religions and accept the idea that killing them all is a solution to a problem that exists only in their warped and evil minds.
BTW, the contributors to and owners of those certain blogs will see the militiamen reported below as heroes and not as a cancerous blight on America and all she stands for.
Yes. It can happen here. Militiamen and right wing bloggers are proving it.
Accused Terrorists Were So Extreme They Scared Other Anti-Muslim Bigots
WICHITA, Kan. — Jurors in a federal courthouse Thursday were played recording after recording of three militia members spewing genocidal hatred of Muslims.
The three men — Patrick Stein, Gavin Wright and Curtis Allen — are accused of being involved in a 2016 terrorism plot to bomb an apartment complex that housed Somali Muslim refugees and a mosque in Garden City, Kansas.
In one recording played for the court Thursday, they can all be heard mapping out Muslim targets on Google Earth, dropping “pins” on a map of Garden City, each pin labeled “cockroaches.”
“The fucking cockroaches in this country have to go, period,” Stein said in one recording. “They are the fucking problem in this country right now. They are the threat in this country right now.”
“When we go on operations, there’s no leaving anyone behind, even if it’s a 1-year-old. I’m serious,”
Stein said in another. “I guarantee if I go on a mission, those little fuckers are going bye-bye.”
In another recording, the men discussed killing a Garden City landlord who owned a building occupied by Muslims and then raping the landlord’s wife and daughter. All to scare off other landlords from renting to Muslims.
The people who support Trump are quite comfortable with the labels "vermin" and with dehumanizing certain groups.

Trump proposes to ban migration from some Muslim-majority countries because Muslim refugees, as he sees it, are a Trojan-horse threat of terrorism. Trump’s policy ideas are incidental to his message of dehumanization.
This is what we mean when we say to the media and to conservatives: don’t normalize. These are white supremacists and awful people. It may be a 60-40 losing fight within the Republican party but it’s a fight worth fighting. I mean, what could go wrong with accommodating Nazis?"

Not surprised that Trumpeteers would be bigots and wish for the extermination of Americans of the Muslim faith. They don't see themselves as the neo-Nazis they are. The resst of the world does.
Muslims absorb the worst of the hate but there's plenty to go around --- liberals, gays , the poor and immigrants all come in for a share of the right's hatred.

Posters at the mothership actively point to a coming armed civil war yet they'll object to the brownshirt reference.

Your graphic at the top, about the poll results among young people is what is telling for the GOP. They may yet win the mid terms and even the 2020 presidential election, especially if the economy continues to improve, but the way young folks feel about the GOP brand is toxic for the future.
Hatred of Muslims is more fear of Muslim terrorist activity not the people themselves. Discrimination and unwarranted hate is at its worst when you speak of the Native American. There is no reason to look down on them because we stole their country and now the government controls their lives. The biggest issue with Native Americans is there are not enough of them to threaten either party.
Reverend Dave, If you are in your teens and are not a liberal you don't have a heart. If you work and pay taxes and are not a conservative you do not have a brain. Most young people start out supporting the democrat party because it is the party of giving, free stuff that is and since their parents pay for it they are fine. The Republican party is no better because they talk about cutting spending and reducing the deficit as they pass a tax policy to spend more.
Ducky, I have some friends who drive for UPS and your brownshirt reference is disgusting. They are hard working people who would rather work delivering packages than take welfare.
The fact is, skud, that people on those far-right blogs do NOT make any distinction on Muslim hatred. They advocate the deportation and extermination of ALL Americans of Muslim faith. So you need to internalize the fact that right-wing Americans advocate for the deaths of Americans. IOW, nothing has changed in the human heart since the first group of people decided that those outside of their group are deserving of extermination. It's sickening, and those people are the sickest.

You must frequent different sites than I do because the sites that I visit don't like the idea of working so some one else doesn't have to but they are far from the deport all muslim's. I don't see the rational of not having controls of people who enter this country. I am not a supporter of no borders and do believe if you can work for a living you should or go without.
I was watching a show where they had a Hispanic spokesperson blame djt for the demise of DACA and he should have just left the Deferred action alone. The democrats do not want to participate in a win for trump so they will punish the people of DACA and do nothing.

Only the queen bee makes exceptions and her twisted vision there are many who are constrained from converting to christianity. They are the "good"muslims.
Some of the other regulars aren't even that charitable.
One of the concerns on board the mother ship is that DACA will be a burden on the tax payers ignoring that the DACA eligible are largely productive contributors.
It's a vision that sees America as the exclusive province of white christians with others getting either the boot or the full Ayn Rand.

Duck, As to DACA it depends on what your source for information is, and there is not much creditable sources. It was something that even obama the great said was temporary. It appears that the political parties were fine doing nothing until djt wanted something permanent done about the Illegals and the democrats won't play if they have to give djt anything. We do need comprehensive immigration reform.
There are good and bad in every segment of society maybe there are some good fiscal liberals. Muslims are no different in that there are some who just want to go on with their lives. I can't say I have a lot of contact with them because they have little desire to co-mingle with others. If we want to judge brutal religions we need to look no further that Catholics during the crusades.

Dave, Skud, Ducky, the folks at the Mother Ship and at other blogs who advocate the extermination of Americans of the Muslim faith need constant exposure. IMO, they are the same as the "Good Germans" who pretended nothing was wrong with rounding up the Jews and murdering them all. Those people on those blogs advocate for genocide, and none of them blink an eye when their fellow bloggers talk about it.
Keep exposing their treachery.
