Trump's America...

where his people feel free to insult and degrade a former POW who is dying of cancer.

I did not vote for John McCain, and I disliked with intensity his choice of a running mate. But he served his country and he suffered years of torture. His sacrifice and torture mean nothing to #45's degenerate people.

When we think the Trump administration can't go lower into the sewer, they show us, "Oh yes, we can!"

What kind of a monster says these things and why is she working for #45? Because the present GOP admires people with no personal morality, like the current POTUS. He's their role model. And America is poorer because of #45.

Here's what Aaron Blake in the WAPO had to say in his column on this issue. It seems the Admin is afraid of calling Sadler out because of the likelihood that Pres Trump might not be able to himself, meet a standard of decency that says you don't mock dying war heroes.

Pretty incredible...

From Blake...

The White House probably thinks it cannot punish Kelly Sadler for her awful comment about John McCain because President Trump has also said nasty things about McCain. It may worry that showing her the door would set a troubling precedent for a president who may one day cross a very similar line.

As with anything associated with djt and all those around him the press takes statements out of context and spin them in the worst way. It is like they didn't build that the government did, this thug could be my son or he is just a stupid cop or better yet what difference does it make.
Anything said can be spun to look OK or to be vicious depending on who is doing the spinning. If it is about anything trump, it will be spun to the negative.

Skud, why can't you ever just acknowledge when something terrible comes out of this White House withoui dragging President Obama's presidency into it? AFAIK, no one in Mr. Obama's inner circle of advisors ever said anything as heartless and mean-spirited as what came out of that woman's mouth about John McCain. She is a perfect example of what America has become with this degenerate man in the Oval Office. She felt comfortable in saying that about a dying war hero.

Instead of just acknowing the immorality of that, you bring up far, far less cruel remarks from the Obama administration. There is no both-siderism in this case. None.

Too bad you always feel you have to try to make it so.

Trump began his candidacy by mocking and denigrating John McCain's service to America. This is the natural outcome of a man with no honor who attacked a man who is a far, far better human being than he is.

Too bad you don't understand this.

Dave, Trump set the tone of his administration with his ceaseless attacks on people far better than he is. I'm not surprised, but I am shocked at the viciousness of his administration.

The whole damnable administration is filled with the sort of people who represent the worst in America, racists, sexists, war mongers, anti-science, anti-intellectual know-nothings who are proud of the loud mouth bigot they voted for.

Hi Ray,

Yeah. This is what Charlie Pierce wrote:

And, through all of that, nothing has happened to the White House staffer who sniped at the fact that John McCain was dying and, therefore, wouldn’t be around much longer to yell about how Kelly and Kelly’s boss are wrecking the country. This enabled SarahHuck, who also nominally works under Kelly, to embarrass herself further at Friday’s gaggle. She was asked about the staffer’s remarks. This is what she said in what was alleged to be human speech.

"I’m not going to comment on an internal staff meeting.”

These really are the fcking mole people.

Ms Shaw, I never mentioned the previous president. You seem outraged that a staffer said something about a war hero but If you will recall four Americans died and the former democrat princess's response was "what difference does it make". What happened to her was she was anointed as a candidate for president. A little hypercritical aren't we?

When history is written it will not be kind to one Donald J. Trump. Arguably one of the worst, if not the worst, POTUS of the modern era.

Trump's administration reflects the callous and despicable character of it's boss and leader. May he burn in hell, if there is such a place.

Skud,
Clinton: With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator. Now, honestly, I will do my best to answer your questions about this, but the fact is that people were trying in real time to get to the best information. The IC has a process, I understand, going with the other committees to explain how these talking points came out. But you know, to be clear, it is, from my perspective, less important today looking backwards as to why these militants decided they did it than to find them and bring them to justice, and then maybe we’ll figure out what was going on in the meantime.

You have no problem taking statements out of context. What happened to her was 8 separate investigations, politicizing the death of those 4 men, in an effort to bring her down. If you or the Repubs really cared about our dead service men, they might want to investigate Commander Bone Spurs for sending 4 to their death in Niger on a poorly planned mission.

As to Kelly Sadler, in what context is, "He's dying anyway", OK? It was leaked by other Repubs who thought it was disgusting. Were they spinning?

Thank you Craig. I should have dug out the entire quote for Skud to read, but I'm afraid it wouldn't matter. He'll continue to take Clinton's and Obama's words out of context to make them sound crass and disrespectful. It's skud's way of dealing with the creep his party put in the White House. It's called "both-siderism" and it's a way for the Goopers to divert themselves from facing the disaster they brought to American by voting for #45.

Most "news" is a regurgitation of words taken out of context. I will admit that the "news" does a very good job reporting on what this administration gets wrong and I will attribute that to they learned from the past administration antics of lying and miss steps they failed to report. djt occupies 30% of most news casts and the majority of reports are negative.
The -H- did her best to answer questions about the incident by having her mouthpiece spin the utube story and then she cannot testify because she had a sore throat.
